After many attempts, Monster Hunter World is the first Monster Hunter game we would recommend to every gamer. It is amazing how much bigger and more intuitive this game is, without getting overly easy.

Steep - Road to the Olympics is a great add on thanks to its serious nature. It offers a great excuse to play Steep again, which has really gotten better over the past year.

Mario Party has offered us many treats over the years and it is fun to choose when you are playing them. However, there is not much room for motivation to play through, and it is not too easy to play this game with others, making it less of a party than it would be on a tv console.

Fallout 4 VR is not exactly the perfect vr game, but it is so cool to go through radioactive ruins while disintegrating Super Mutants with your Laser Musket. There are many comfortable VR options which is great, though the game also struggles with some bugs.

Doom is proof that vr games can be played in high tempo, making it physically challenging at some points. There are not many of these points though, and you are mainly teleporting through the rest of the game, making things a bit boring.

If you love platform games, Yooka-Laylee really is a game you want to love. However, after a few hours you will notice that this game fails at really offering the same quality as other games in this genre.

PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds is the new standard for the Battle Royale genre. It is not a polished game, but that does not really matter when you consider how much fun you are going to have with it.

L.A. Noire still is a unique detective game that is worth playing. The things we did not appreciate about the original are still there, but in the end this is still an amazing videogame.

Chronicles is a JRPG with the size of an MMORPG, in a world that feels lively. The game does not explain itself too well and many of the characters are a bit uncomfortable to look at, but other than that this game is amazing.

Sonic Forces is an attempt of Sonic Team to satisfy fans and welcome newcomers, but it ends up being an average game with no Sonic epic feel but mainly with poor controls and a disappointing experience.

This is not a surprising LEGO title in any way, but it does offer a playful world filled with super heroes, fighting, collecting and puzzle and platform gameplay.

The Sims 4 essentially is a good game, even on consoles. Especially the fact that later additions to the PC version are already included on consoles, is amazing. But in the end most simulation games are best played with keyboard and mouse.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 has deeper gameplay and an actual single player that really honors Star Wars. Unfortunately loot boxes and a bad progression system prevent this game from really blowing us away.

Call of Duty: WW2 is refreshing thanks to its slower pace, historical weaponry and thematic divisions. However, this game does not really reinvent the wheel, especially when it comes to the single-player.

Though WWE 2K17 was definitely taking the franchise into a better direction, WWE 2K18 is a huge disappointment. Loading times are long, gameplay is frustrating and MyCareer-mode is a let-down too. The visuals and the huge choice in wrestlers are amazing, but they can't save this game.

While some people doubt if single-player is still a thing in the video game business, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus shows that it definitely is. The story is impressive with its drama and appropriate comic relief, and the gameplay is crazy and nerve wrecking, just how we like it.

Super Mario Odyssey simply breathes fun and excitement. It is not the most innovative Mario game of all time, but the amount of creativity and happiness that is put into this game makes up for that.

Assassin's Creed Origins is a very different Assassin's Creed than we would have expected. Hiding, fighting, horseback riding: you spend your time in this game so differently than you would've before. And that is awesome. Assassin's Creed successfully went open world.

Fire Emblem and the musou genre are a match made in heaven. Dynasty Warriors and Fire Emblem are a great fit in strategic and action gameplay.
