eFootball PES 2020 is pure football from start to finish. With a more truthful pace, dribbling and more physical play, PES 2020 looks just a little more realistic than its predecessor.

The still brilliant fighting system and the structure of Jericho City make The Surge 2 a nice soul-like and definitely a better game than the original. However, the game is a disappointment in terms of story and variation in environments and enemies.

    Rad
RAD has style and humor, but as a roguelike it is seriously lacking. The gameplay is not slick enough, the variation too limited and the different runs are same'ish very swiftly.

For the first time in forever, Gears 5 is successfully performing a new trick. Thanks to the light rpg elements, fights are a lot more diverse and fun, while the story and the characters bring out a previously hidden human side.

Despite all its flaws, World of Warcraft Classic is one of the best MMORPGs that you can play. This is proof of an excellent game, but it also shows that mmorpgs as a whole stand still.

WRC 8 is without a doubt the best game in the world championship rally in years. Thanks to a huge load of content and cool features this game is awesome, but it is a bit rough around the edges.

In terms of gameplay, Link’s Awakening is almost the same as the original, which speaks volumes about the quality that was already present 26 years ago. The big improvement is, of course, the sparkling audiovisual presentation. Wow.

We don't know what happened to Borderlands 2, but that's probably the fault of Claptrap. This new game offers funny stories, an amazing world to explore and so much more. Must have.

Though the fourth episode of Life is Strange 2 is a bit more mellow in the process, you can still be on the edge of your seat when it comes to storytelling. This episode really puts the brain at work, touching upon subjects that cut right into the soul.

If you view Erica as an interactive movie, you'll have a great time. Flavourworks sure knows how to tell a compelling story. If you really desire a lot of gameplay, Erica is not your game.

Astral Chain is the most diverse game PlatinumGames has made and offers fascinating and varied gameplay. Some elements, such as the platforms and the silent protagonist, are not completely visible and the Switch itself seems to collapse occasionally under all this content, but the flashy action and the cool police work make up for that.

Although Control has a number of frustration points, the game manages to entirely blow your socks off in Remedy’s most absurd world to date. We love its mysterious atmosphere and excellent physics.

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey wants to offer a kind of pseudo-realistic experience from the past, but forgets that there is a modern person behind the buttons who just wants to be entertained.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is trying to do something, it can't. Shooting Nazis together can be a lot of fun, but without the dark and boundary-seeking humor, the strong storytelling and impressive cast, there is not much left of Wolfenstein.

Although battles still feel the same before, all the systems around them have undergone huge changes. You can spend hours refining your school class and perfecting strategies. A game to keep you truly busy this summer.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order shows that together is better. With more than thirty playable characters, there is a favorite for everyone. You fly through the levels, while keeping everything short and small. The game definitely gives you the feeling of being a superhero offering lots of spectacle on screen.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 offers many big and small improvements over the original. Building is a lot more extended, though that chews a bit off of the adventure. There is so much to do though, it will keep you busy all summer.

Dr Mario World is a freemium game and that shows. You play for a second and there is a wall of payments brought up. It is a fun game, but you can't really get everything out of it without using microtransactions.

Sea of Solitude is very symbolic and effective when it comes to translating the concept of loneliness into a video game. Kays adventure offers a few emotional moments, but the platform and puzzle gameplay both make the journey a bit wobbly.

The Sinking City is a fun game, but to really enjoy it there is a lot you'll have to put up with. Maybe that will be solved in the future, but at the moment the only thing that really saves this game is the amazing influence of Lovecraft.

In Cadence of Hyrule two games meet on the dance floor and their dance is awesome. As roguelike this might not be as convincing, as the rhythmic gameplay is too easy. It works for Zelda though.

A Plague Tale: Innocence is a surprisingly good game that is perfectly balanced. The game really impressed us with the way a group of kids is placed in a gruesome, hostile world. It makes us forget about all those rough edges and shallow bad guys.
