GTA: Chinatown Wars is a must-have for every gamer with a Nintendo DS. It’s a game that’ll keep you entertained for hours and every aspect of it fits like a puzzle from beginning to end. It breathes that familiar GTA feeling, yet it also introduces some new and interesting elements. If you don’t have a Nintendo DS yet but are thinking about buying one, let Chinatown Wars give you the last little push you need.- InsideGamer.nl

Although Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume has its deficiencies, the game manages to distinguish itself from other strategic role-playing games. The great, gloomy story and the action-packed fighting are but some of the nice aspects of the game. The best aspect of Covenant of the Plume is that the game forces you to sacrifice team members, so that you become emotionally attached to the game. Therefore, you tend to forgive the game for its few minor mistakes.- InsideGamer.nl

Resident Evil 5 is like an expensive diamond. The outside is polished well and the inside is strong enough to go through iron. The graphics of the gameplay and the cinematics are beautiful and full of detail. We can understand the criticism of the controls, but you can easily get used to it. The co-op is an exciting feature and when you are without a friend it turns out that Sheva is a great companion. Resident Evil 5 doesn’t revolutionize the series, but it is still a fantastic game to play.- InsideGamer.nl

Red Alert 3: Uprising has a budget priced label, which is a good thing, but we've seen better Command & Conquer expansions. The Yuriko campaign was a good idea, but fails. The other campaigns aren't interesting, the new units are boring and only the Commander's Challenge is a feature that will save the game from a bad grade.- InsideGamer.nl

MadWorld is a fantastic game, even worth killing for (*badoom pssh*). The game looks great, delivers great fun and sounds superbly. There are some minor annoyances: the game repeats itself over time and some quick time events don’t register well. Nevertheless, go get this game!- InsideGamer.nl

Boing! Docomodake is a weird game. It’s both original and imaginative, but also sloppy and lacking polish. The underlying concept of a transforming mushroom is fine, the puzzles are fun, and the platforming action is decent and challenging, but the overall presentation and control scheme are way below average, making Boing! Docomodake a mediocre game at best.- InsideGamer.nl

Codename Panzers: Cold War is a prime example of a ‘strategy light’ game. The balance between the different units isn’t that important. More important is how the player anticipates to changes in the environment. It’s the ultimate ‘appetizer game’, it’s edible, but it’s not as fulfilling as the main course.- InsideGamer.nl

Pikmin was a good game back in 2002. Maybe Nintendo thought they should release it again. We rather wished they didn’t. The game is a complete waste of time. The game hasn’t changed a bit since the original and brings no new content. That’s just ridiculous. If you never played Pikmin before...here’s your chance...wooptiedoo!- InsideGamer.nl

Mario Tennis has always been a great game. A good pace and variation in shots, some tactic (especially with doubles) and a nice feel of competition. Too bad this “New Play Control!” breaks the game. You’re playing an arcade game with non-arcade controls and that’s not what the game was supposed to be about. It’s inaccurate and frustrating to miss balls and hit them badly while you know this wouldn’t be the case with a GameCube controller in your hands. Mario Power Tennis didn’t need this remake.- InsideGamer.nl

Ensemble Studio wanted to make a Real Time Strategy game for Halo fans. We can tell you that they succeeded. The controls are as simple as riding a bike. Once you get to know the basic controls you just keep on going. For hardcore RTS players this game might be to easy and option wise the game is very restricted. Nevertheless, we have had a great time playing this game and love to play it a little bit more online.- InsideGamer.nl

This is the best Total War game thanks to all the little tweaks. Sometimes little differences make a good game great. The battles ask of you that you think more about your actions and managing your empire never was easier. The sea battles are fun to watch, but are a little hard to control. Nevertheless, Empire: Total War is a game that can make you forget about the time.- InsideGamer.nl

We love H.A.W.X. and we hate H.A.W.X. For every good thing there is something bad. We’ve played it for a long time, but never got really excited. Collecting experience points and unlocking stuff is cool, but the gameplay gets repetitive. H.A.W.X. looks really good, but has a bad storyline. The game is good, but at the same time disappointing.- InsideGamer.nl

Sonic and the Black Knight is the perfect game to break your arm. The only thing you do is sweeping around the Wiimote, which is really boring. We could say "better luck next time", but to be honest: We don’t believe in a good Sonic-game anymore.- InsideGamer.nl

Family Ski & Snowboard doesn’t change a lot of the basics of its predecessor. The addition of the snowboard is fun, though it doesn’t offer anything new gameplay wise. The graphics are still quite weak and the game doesn’t offer a lot of content. Luckily the gameplay slightly makes up for all this and, even though there are some Wiimote detection flaws, prevents the game from failing altogether.- InsideGamer.nl

The frase ‘Hi, I'm Wolle! Watch me!’ is heard at the dramatic start of Stoked. Luckily the game gets better because of the diversity and difficulty. Some tricks may go wrong, but with a little faith in your self, you can become king of the hill. Unfortunately you are being confronted with the physics and graphics, that aren’t that great. Despite of that Stoked stays a entertaining game.- InsideGamer.nl

Fans of 50 Cent, rest assured. 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is way better then 50’s first game. Sometimes it is even a lot of fun to play. The combination of 50 Cent’s music and shooting around gun blazing creates a perfect setting for fans to enjoy.- InsideGamer.nl

Star Ocean: The Last Hope is a pretty good RPG. It has an interesting story, strong characters and there is a lot of room for exploration. Besides that, it has a very good fighting system. The downfall is the slow pace of the story, but that shouldn't stop you from buying it!- InsideGamer.nl

EndWar is also a good game on the PC. The game looks good, the controls work as you would expect and it is fun to play. We also want to give credits to Ubisoft to do something original. However, we give the PC-version a lower grade then we did with the console-version. There are simply more RTS-games on the PC and a lot of them are better then EndWar.- InsideGamer.nl

Shellshock 2 looks like it’s been stuck in time. Everybody nowadays wants to play games with great controls, fantastic graphics and a lovely story. All of these elements are missing in is this game. This game is so bad, Michael Jackson wouldn’t want to touch it. We suggest everybody stays away from this game like it is a bomb threat, because this game would make you explode out of rage.- InsideGamer.nl

The stylish presentation of Blue Dragon Plus cannot hide the fact that the game is disappointing. Especially the stupid movement patterns of your characters are terribly frustrating and turn the fighting into a chore. An imprecise control scheme makes tactical fighting almost impossible, causing Blue Dragon Plus to be a mediocre game experience.- InsideGamer.nl

This game really blew us away. From the tons of missions to the fantastic story, the game doesn’t disappoint. One might say that fighting over and over again feels a little bit boring, but we can’t get enough of it. The fights are intense and will challenge you to think about your actions. One wrong decision and you might lose the war.- InsideGamer.nl

The debut of SimBin on the Xbox 360 isn’t that great. The game offers many different remodeling options for your car. You can make it go faster, be stronger and better. But unlike the hit of Kanye West this game isn’t bigger, better or faster. The options are all that there is. Of course is it possible to race on different tracks and change cars, but what else is new. If you really want a good racing game, then this is not the game for you. Race Pro looks like a pro, but handles like a newborn baby that is still eager to learn a lot.- InsideGamer.nl

Right now, Street Fighter IV is pretty much the best fighting game out there. There's a wide array of balanced characters to choose from and more that enough challenges to keep you off the streets for weeks. Whether you're a walking Street Fighter library or a newcomer to the series, this game is recommended for everyone who loves inviting some friends over for some quality time ass-whoopin'.- InsideGamer.nl

The Lost and Damned is a great expansion for the Grand Theft Auto-series. The setting of the game is enjoyable; the same goes for the city. The city is still a great and beautiful place to cruise through. When you are getting bored rolling down the same street over and over again, you’ll find that the story in the DLC is pretty interesting. Although some parts of the story don’t fill-in the blank spots, it is still a great game that keeps you almost ten hours of the real streets.- InsideGamer.nl

This remake of the fifth part of the Dragon Quest series is a game which does what’s it’s supposed to do. It is a good game, but it could have been a lot better. The battle system works and the training of monsters is also very recognizable. Nevertheless, you still get the feeling it could have been more innovative. We do like the story, because it keeps you going. Whenever you feel like putting down your DS, you still want to know what is going to happen next. Dragon Quest isn’t as good as Chrono Trigger, but it’s still a fun game to play.- InsideGamer.nl
