The island of Panau is like an amazing vacation filled with explosions and action. Just like a real holiday, you want to go home sometime but for as long as it takes Just Cause 2 is about as crazy and fun as an open world game can be.

Finally the first full adventure making use of Wii MotionPlus. Red Steel seems to breathe quality and is surprisingly deep. This is what action games should have been on the Wii since the beginning.

MotoGP 09/10 is way more interesting than its predecessors. But even an interesting career mode and a good sense of speed can’t help the fact that some players might van the driving to be a bit unrealistic and the online multiplayer is sort off lacking.

The Settlers 7 is one of the best installments of the series. It is very addictive, has a deep economic system and we like the fact that you can complete a level with different tactics.

Rooms: The Main Building is a great puzzle game in an ugly coating. The puzzles are well put together and stay fresh because of the constant stream of new elements. It's too bad that the unclear images, ugly colours and downright annoying music takes away some of the fun.

C&C4 is a slap in the face for longtime fans of the series. So many things have changed that it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. It tries to bring you the best of both worlds but it fails miserably on both sides.

Metro 2033 is enthralling enough to get you over some of the rough patches. The atmosphere is truly unique and for fans of great stories. It’s this story and vibe that makes Metro 2033 worth your time.

God of War III ends with a bang. The trilogy end contains pretty much everything that you’ve come to expect from the series with a few surprises along the way. We wish there were a little more titan battles but overall the story of Kratos gets a worthy ending.

Resonance of Fate has an amazing fighting system, but is also a very weird game, with strange sexual jokes.

Chaos Rising is a good add-on. The story is strong, we like the choices you can make in the missions and there is even more variation in the missions then there was in the original Dawn of War II.

Final Fantasy XIII is a big and impressive adventure that manages to push the genre in the right direction. The characters, battle system and the story are all great. The fact that there are parts in the game that are unnecessary long and boring is to bad, still FFXIII is the one of the best RPG’s of this generation.

Yakuza 3 manages to stay loyal to its predecessors but also knows the same highs and lows. The story is interesting and complex but is of to a slow start and the best parts are most definitely the Yakuza boss fights. In the end Yakuza 3 is a game of traditions who in this modern age seem kind of dated.

Silent Hunter 5 is another decent game in the series with a few problems here and there. Especially the incomplete tutorial, the loading times and the lack of polish in some area’s are annoying. On the other hand, this game is so packed with content that you are guaranteed to be busy until Silent Hunter 6 comes out.

Alice in Wonderland is an example of how movie tie-ins should work. The game manages to capture some of the magic seen in the film and most importantly, it doesn’t suck.

Sonic Classic Collection is a decent collection of four good and old Sonic games. The chances however are that you played all of them on some way before which makes this Collection nothing special but decent in the most literal sense of the word.

Supreme Commander 2 is more accessible than the original game, that’s good for those new to the series but veterans might be a bit disappointed. The scale however, manages to impress and in the end that’s what it is all about in a RTS.

Anno 1404 finally manages to bring multiplayer to the table. The only gripe we can think of is the lack of a new faction. Venice is, however, a strong expansion to the series.

Sonic & SEGA All-Star Racing does not manage to reach all-star level because of some little problems. Mario Kart might be better, but for gamers who only own a PlayStation 3 or a Xbox 360 this is the best party racer you can get.

Risen is a game that does nothing wrong, but at the same is not bringing something new either. The ambiance of the game is perfect and the story is very good and convincing. It’s too bad Risen is starting up slow and the graphics could have been better. This is a game made for RPG fans, people who don’t like RPG’s should probably focus on other games.
