The Wii leaves the stage with a bang. Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise is a collection of rhythm games that make the most out of the two buttons of the Wii controller. Funny tunes that stay in your head and completely random rhythm games; we can't think of a better game to put a beat in our summer.

Amazing Alex is an interesting puzzle game. With a lot of different ways to solve each puzzle and a load of content, Amazing Alex has what it takes to keep you entertained for hours. The only downside is the limitations of the level editor.

No big guns, unlimited ammo and a save point every three seconds; Project Zero 2 is creepy and frightening, as a horror game should be. Play this game in the dark and you'll cower in fright more than a couple of times.

Everything in this game has been done before, and has been done better. Not having split screen co-op is unforgivable; Inversion seems to be made for playing it with another player next to you. A lot of variation makes the single player experience somewhat decent, but never rises above mediocrity.

Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends looks good on paper: a huge amount of missions, a load of tracks to race on and an immense car lot. The game turns out to be Ferrari unworthy when you find out the difficulty is all over the place and the game turns into a bugfest. Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends could've used more time on the test track.

The Amazing Spider-Man never reaches its full potential. The missions are repetitive and the combat system is not as fluent as in Arkham City. The web slinging in Manhattan makes up for a whole lot, but The Amazing Spider-Man never really amazes.

A wonderful idea, but poorly executed. It doesn't work in the dark and it loses it's horror essence during the day. For once we're glad a game only lasts three to four hours.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy is a digital jukebox full of musical highlights from the Final Fantasy series. Thanks to three different modes the game is varied throughout and ideal for short trips, preferably trips down memory lane.

Dawnguard is a decent expansion for Skyrim, but one with a steep price. The content in the expansion is compelling, but will never have you at the edge of your seat.

Babel Rising has an interesting concept that never really comes to fruition. With only fifteen levels and a lack of online play, Babel Rising never even comes close to reaching the heavens.

Gravity Rush is unique in multiple ways. Playing with gravity takes a while to get used to, but thanks to the intuitive controls, the game soon plays like a dream. Together with the amazing visual style and great cut-scenes this makes Gravity Rush a true work of art.

Harley Quinn's Revenge is far from essential, does nothing new and is really short. The pricing is on the high side as well, and the only thing saving this DLC is a larger role for Robin.

Datura only takes you about two hours to complete, which starts off by twenty minutes of yelling at the Move controller and fiddling with the unfortunate control scheme. It is then followed by a stroll through an absurd and amazing world, that will create an experience you won't soon forget. An experience, however, filled with non-challenging puzzles.

Lollipop Chainsaw is a game with two aspects: on the one side you have this great game full of absurdity, humour and stylish action, only to be followed up by annoying mini-games.

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is an entertaining game. It is obviously created for children, but still contains all the elements you'd like to see in a Batman game. Especially the puzzles are well crafted and will make sure you'll never be doing the same thing for five minutes. The only downside are the problems with the multiplayer, but that slight hiccup doesn't stop this being the best Lego game to date.

Developer Cyanide has once again improved its cycling manager with an improved interface and some added management options. Though there are still a lot of improvements to be made in the coming editions.

The Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection has made quite an impression on us. It brings two classics to the Vita and adds some neat features that make use of the Vita's capabilities. It is a shame that the PSP-classic Peace Walker has been taken out of the package.

Spec Ops: The Line is a decent third-person shooter that doesn't bring much original features to the table. The amazing and brutal narrative, however, will keep you ploughing through this sandy shooter.

Civilization V: Gods and Kings has a serious price tag, but it does bring the Civilization veterans some great features. The addition of religion, espionage and new nations, gives Gods and Kings the well-known 'just one more turn'-feeling.

Heroes of Ruin is a mediocre game if you'd just stick to single player. But when you delve into the dungeons online, it turns out to be surprisingly good.

Venitca's story is ok, but the rest of the game fails. The fighting system is boring, it has a lot of technical flaws and the world feels uninspired.

Superstars V8 Racing is a good game with a lot of detail for realism. There are enough races and cars available to entertain you for a while. However, due to the lack of game modes, the game doesn't achieve the status it could have reached.

APB is an MMO you can play for free for fifty hours, but I seriously doubt anyone will get that far. The game completely fails in almost every aspect which makes playing this game a living hell. Sadly enough I couldn't enjoy APB even for a moment.

Singularity is the kind of shooter we haven't seen in a while, one who doesn't take itself too seriously. The realism of games like Call of Duty or Battlefield: Bad Company is traded in for weird weapons and awesome powers. The TMD makes for some interesting moments, but should have been more elaborate. It's also a shame the game gets far too easy half way through. Still Singularity is a great pastime in these quiet periods.
