There's a lot wrong with Star Trek. The story is told very averagely, environments are boring, shooting is unsatisfactory, your companion will annoy you to death and boring puzzles might just eradicate most of your brain cells. The only fun I had with this game is thanks to the hilarious bugs.- InsideGamer.nl

Gemini Rue is an homage to the point-and-click adventure games of old and shows that the mobile platform lends itself greatly to this. The nostalgia will drag you down into a dark neo-noir science fiction world, with well thought out puzzles and surprising resolution. Combined with fresh action scenes and an impressive soundtrack, make Gemini Rue a, somewhat short, masterpiece.- InsideGamer.nl

Soul Sacrifice is as ingenious as it is insane. The setting is a bizarre mix of Greek and Medieval legends, but that's nothing compared to how smartly the gameplay elements work together. Every isolated aspect has a problem, but when these aspects come together, the downsides are a thing of the past. Soul Sacrifice isn't perfect and a little more variation in enemies and environments would have gone a long way, but it will provide you with dozens upon dozens of hours of fun and will have you sacrifice many lives and Vita battery cycles.- InsideGamer.nl

Sacred Citadel is a sound beat 'm up with RPG elements. The game looks a lot like Castle Crashers but offers just a little bit more moves and variation with different playable classes. It's just a shame that your character will get overpowered later on, and the game loses all of its challenge.- InsideGamer.nl

The attention to detail is what makes Blood Dragon so awesome. From the great explanation of why a bow is futuristic as long as you slap some neon on there, to Rex flipping off enemies, all of it is great. Add to that the length of the game being anywhere from four to twenty hours thanks to extra missions and collectibles, the low price and it hardly taking up any space on your hard drive, and you have no excuse but to play this.- InsideGamer.nl

Monaco: What's Yours is Mine is mostly fun when playing with a well put together team of criminals. It's weaker when playing with unknown accomplices or when stealing alone. The game is just a little bit too unclear and chaotic to be a great stealth game, but as a party game Monaco is an excellent choice. It's mostly the charming style that'll steal your heart, not the chaotic action.- InsideGamer.nl

Dead Island: Riptide is more of the same. In the case of combat and leveling up this is a good thing. But unfortunately it also bring along all of the issues of its predecessor. They've also chosen for the more linear jungle and city settings instead of the unique holiday resort. These faults make this a disappointment that can still be fun to play.- InsideGamer.nl

Don't get me wrong, Uprising offers a lot of hours of extra fun and gameplay, but at the same time there are so many things they could've done to make this DLC more refreshing. It's good, it's just not surprising in any way.- InsideGamer.nl

Easily recommendable for everyone who is even slightly interested in this franchise. Aside from the full game and the expansion, this edition also contains previously released downloadable content and other extra's. The price might be a little too high for fans though, considering what the additions are. Unfortunately Capcom isn't offering an alternative for their loyal fans.- InsideGamer.nl

Contrary to other Lego-games, the emphasis isn’t put on collecting Lego-nobs and building and wrecking Lego-constructions, but more on fighting, driving and completing missions. Too bad that the game looks just a little bit too good. Now, frame drops and long load-times disrupt this ultimate kids-dream.- InsideGamer.nl

Defiance is far from perfect. The list of technical issues is substantial and not all elements of the game have been worked out as well as others. The competitive competitions fail to impress for instance. Still, it manages to keep players interested, thanks to the lively and intriguing world. Especially the dynamic Arkfall-events are impressive. Defiance is a fun MMO that you’ll sink many hours into before you know it.- InsideGamer.nl

BattleBlock Theater has charm, style, humor and works great as a party game. When playing alone it can still be creative and challenging, but is never really anything special. The multiplayer is a party though, and collecting new heads will have you come back to it again and again. The show must go on, after all.- InsideGamer.nl

Toki Tori 2 might seem like a kiddy game at first, but turns out to be a complicated and often intelligent puzzle game. Every puzzle can be solved with only two moves! It lacks some explanations and subtle hints, though, that can turn those ingenious puzzles into a game of frustration and trial-and-error. The map attests to this, which a 17th century cartographer wouldn't even be able to decipher.- InsideGamer.nl

Fire Emblem: Awakening will have you taking your Nintendo 3DS everywhere, so you can take a few more steps while on your way to work for instance. It manages to grab players from start to finish and got me bummed out when having finished it. I'm jealous of those who still have the joy of discovering it because I'm positive that they'll have tons of fun with it. Fire Emblem: Awakening is for the 3DS what Advance Wars was for the GBA: a must-have.- InsideGamer.nl

Enough can be said about Motocross Madness. It's very easy, quite short and hardly polished. Something that's very noticeable when multiple racers are in the frame. The racing itself is pretty decent, so that makes up for a few of the issues, but Motocross Madness can only be described as a simple exercise in futility, and not much more than that.- InsideGamer.nl

A wonderful fighting game. Netherrealm managed to combine all of the good Mortal Kombat had to offer, with the charm of the DC Comics, without incident. Online and offline it provides great over-the-top gameplay for starting players, and offers enough depth for the more experienced players. This depth can be found in the form of interactive levels, individual moves and powers. Aside from that it offers a huge amount of different and unique characters to play with, and lots of content that'll satisfy any DC-fanatic.- InsideGamer.nl

This game just screams lazy, or ignorance: I haven't decided yet. No, leave this game to rot in a dumpster. Get Double Dragon: Neon, if you want a game that's a great homage and made with love.- InsideGamer.nl

ShootMania Storm is a game that strives for perfection, but misses out on a few important elements. The gameplay is excellent, but the level design and amount of levels spoil the fun a bit. As soon as you can look past this, you've got yourself a very good skill-based game that should keep you busy for weeks, heck, months even. There's a mode for everyone, so if you're looking for a multiplayer game where skill is the main focus, ShootMania might just be the thing for you.- InsideGamer.nl

Yes, Year of the Snake is a better expansion than Nightmare in North Point. Still, the downloadable content is plagued by the same problems as the original game, and its short length makes sure you'll never get dragged into its story.- InsideGamer.nl

Harmoknight combines platform action with musical and rhythmic gameplay, and does so successfully. It's a shame that the game's concept is too limited to entertain players for long, because before long, you'll be doing the same thing over and over again. It's good, but HarmoKnight just doesn't hit all the right notes.- InsideGamer.nl

Because you'll have access to most cars to begin with, Most Wanted U can be slightly overwhelming without providing you with a good starting point. The exploring also gets shoved to the background quite significantly. It soon turns out that this makes for a better game though, that provides you with more freedom as a player. The wingman-functions allow Fairhaven to be conquered with a friend, but these are too experimental to really make Most Wanted U succeed as a co-op game. Still, this is the best version of an already great racing game.- InsideGamer.nl

You'd better follow your instinct when it comes to this Walking Dead-game. Survival Instinct a rushed and unpolished game. That this shambling corpse actually contains a few good ideas is not a good enough reason to endure the brain-rotting gameplay. The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct shouldn't have risen from the dead to begin with.- InsideGamer.nl

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel is a simple shooter that's made to play with a friend. You'll compose your own weapons, converse about tactics and do this for eight hours or so until you've finished the campaign. It's a wonderful co-op game that falls short, mostly due to the annoying variation between dumb action and emotional moments. The lack of polish and modes make this a game that is truly only fit for those who only play co-op games.- InsideGamer.nl

Terraria is a game you can completely lose yourself in, also on consoles. The transference to controller was mostly successful and other elements like a map and a (short) tutorial make the game more playable. It still throws you in the deep end right away though, so learning how to swim might take some fishing around on the internet. Whoever manages to get through the first, nearly impenetrable, layer, awaits a deep world with expansive (home-made) adventures.- InsideGamer.nl

Lego City: Undercover is, like most Lego-games, a perfectly good game for all ages. Especially the older gamer will appreciate the subtle references to many games and movies, although you’ll have to consider whether the kiddy style of the game is for you. If it is, you’ll have a game that you will enjoy longer than the time you spent playing with your Lego-city, which currently resides in your attic.- InsideGamer.nl

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time's biggest upside is obviously the amount of variety. You'll never do the same thing for long, because before you know it, you're controlling another character in a new environment. Because of this, Sly is a platformer with a very high pace, but the lack of challenge will also make you go through faster than you might expect. It seems to focus more on a younger audience, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy this game as an adult.- InsideGamer.nl

BioShock: Infinite is a marvelous masterpiece, a must have, a unique and beautiful game and maybe the best game of recent years. Everything about this game just makes sense. It offers a beautiful world, a good balance between action, exploration and story. And my god, what a story! Do yourself a favor and get this game as soon as you can, because this is a title that will be spoken of for a good while to come.- InsideGamer.nl

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 proves two things: it’s tough to develop a good sniper game and even harder to turn that into a good multiplayer game. The single-player entertains in its first few hours, when not expecting too much on a technical side, because this is a budget-game. Unfortunately it’s blatantly obvious how scripted this game is and you’ll be slaughtering complete terrorist cells like Vasily Zaytsev trained you himself. The multiplayer’s been set up completely wrong, and it amounts to nothing more than camping, camping and more camping.- InsideGamer.nl

Give a man a fish and he’ll eat for a day. Give a man Ridiculous Fishing and he’ll never feel the need to eat again, simply because fishing, shooting and buying upgrades is incredibly tight in this game. Ridiculous Fishing is part of the best iOS has to offer.- InsideGamer.nl
