In terms of would I recommend the game, yes I would, if you are the sort of person who likes the added challenge of big brutes breaking up your otherwise sniper fueled game then you will probably love it. If you’ve enjoyed the previous games in the series then this should be an easy choice of buy. If you are like me though and don’t like having to totally shift gears and fight up close battles in a game that revolves around long range combat then maybe give it a miss… unless you regularly have group gaming sessions in which case multiplayer may well make it worth your while.- Impulsegamer

In the end if you’ve got a hankering for some point and click adventuring, you could do worse… I’d suggest waiting till it’s on special as I don’t think it’s quite refined enough to make it worth paying full price… but it has a degree of charm.- Impulsegamer

I really don’t think I’m the market for this game, there are no doubt some people out there that can get hours of entertainment out of knocking items on a dining table over time after time… I’m not one of them. If you like slapstick humour and don’t mind frustrating controls then this may be up your alley. For me, this is a hard pass!- Impulsegamer

It’s a tough call as to whether to recommend the game or not. I think what it boils down to is, did you like the original game but have trouble getting it to play now, if so then certainly this is a great purchase for you. Do you like the older style RTS games with less minute detail to focus on and a stripped back easier mechanic, then this might tickle your fancy. But if you need absolutely all the bells and whistles, to have complete control over everything and the most up to date state of the art… then perhaps give it a miss.- Impulsegamer

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition is one of the most compelling and lore-rich role-playing games I’ve had to pleasure of playing, but unfortunately, its greatness on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is let down by a very sub-par console port full of bugs and loading time issues. Still highly recommended for fans who prefer the big TV instead of the computer screen, but only if you have the patience necessary to await the necessary bug fixes and play through unavoidable load times.- Impulsegamer

What Snackworld: The Dungeon Crawl - Gold lacks in gameplay depth, it makes up for with it's great sense of humour and vibrant style.- Impulsegamer

Commandos 2 – HD Remaster is still very much the same game from nineteen years ago but sadly, it has not aged well. The release of this HD remaster is clearly premature and only time will tell if it can be saved. However, I do admit that the game isn’t unplayable and if you’re willing to look past some of the issues, Commandos 2 is still a fun and challenging game.- Impulsegamer

Is it worth your time? Well it’s reasonably cheap and it can be a lot of fun, especially when you keep the rhythm going, but by the same token if you loose your rhythm and just can’t seem to get it back it can be quite frustrating. My son loves it and the Patapons can be quite cute… even if they are essentially a pretty violent tribe who go around killing nearly all they come across. Worth a play and certainly if it’s on special it might be a good little time burner to purchase.- Impulsegamer

If you are a longtime fan, you mileage may very on the experience since it’s nothing new honestly. It’s still a good game but might be worth waiting on a sale.- Impulsegamer

As a whole, Journey to the Savage Planet is a rather simple game but still manages to find unique ways to challenge a player both during combat and exploration. My only dislike is that there could have been a few more side missions that didn’t revolve around item collection. It would have been great to have more incentive to go off the main path aside from hunting for upgrades. But in saying that, I found the exploration aspect of this game quite fun thanks to the innovative level design. This is definitely a fun little game that is worth checking out or playing with a friend.- Impulsegamer

If you never played the original and this kind of game is up your alley, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a lengthy JRPG with all the things you would expect, and it runs fantastically on the Switch in docked and undocked modes. But if you’ve also just finished the excellent Fire Emblem: Three Houses and want something more substantial to sink into that features classic characters from the series, you may find it a little disappointing.- Impulsegamer

Overall I wouldn’t recommend the game. If it’s on special, a really deep discount, maybe get it if you really think it will be your thing, but for me personally it just didn’t hit any of the right notes, it promised a lot and failed to deliver.- Impulsegamer

I remain a big fan of pinball and having access to many great tables in my home means I can just jump in and play at a moments notice and for as long as I want… it’s a great casual game (I must attempt to make a virtual pinball machine some day). For the price I’d say this is reasonable value, it’s only three tables… but you may well find yourself logging many hours on the tables as you strive to beat your previous score. Maybe wait for a sale if you aren’t a huge pinball fan… if you are a huge pinball fan and love the history of the games, then you may well be happy to pay the full price and just grab this ASAP.- Impulsegamer

I’d recommend it as I was completely caught up in the world it laid before me and was reminded of just how much I had loved Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines (and it did what I suspect it was really meant to do which is drum up a greater desire for the new game).- Impulsegamer

It’s not a game you play, but more an interactive experience, somewhat an art piece that is a meditation on modern life or the difference between the commercial world and the artistic/creative world. It’s not a long experience but it’s worth a go, though for the length of it I would still wait for a special before shelling out money on it. But if a good special comes along I would recommend grabbing it and letting yourself float along with the story.- Impulsegamer

Frontier Developments have set the bar for their DLC offerings excitingly high, and if the rest of their additional content is as impressive as the Arctic Pack then the future for Planet Zoo is looking bright.- Impulsegamer

Avicii Invector is a music game that feels more like a space rhythm adventure. It’s a bit truncated, sure. Lacking a little in its setlist length, being devoted wholly to one artist. Featuring some tricky mechanics and only having three difficulty levels. Meaning that longevity will always be an unknown. But fans of the artist and the EDM genre will still appreciate this entry in their libraries.- Impulsegamer

This is put simply a beautiful poignant game that begs to be played. It is so thoughtful that anyone who does buy Life is Strange 2 is going to feel something when playing it. It is an experience that you will not soon forget after completion. I hope that you take that time like I did to fully go through and savour a game that is truly a joy to play.- Impulsegamer

Truthfully, I found this DLC to be a strong fit for ‘Borderlands 3’ and the Borderlands universe. It offers a strong and intriguing story line full of unexpected laughs while filling in some of the blanks left behind from previous games. This DLC offers a massive amount of replay value, especially for those needing to make some extra cash to buy high end SDU upgrades. I managed to make $1,000,000 in just half an hour of starting this DLC from pickups alone, not including the money made from selling unwanted equipment.- Impulsegamer

One thing I really like about these expansions is that there is something for everyone regardless of what skill level or how long they’ve been playing for. I do highly recommend these expansions for anyone who is a fan of KSP and want to get the most out of the game.- Impulsegamer

While I would recommend both DLC expansions, Breaking Ground’ is the one that advanced players should get their hands on first. The robotic parts offer much more creative avenues for players to explore when looking to travel further into the depths of the solar system. The new parts now give birth to more complex space stations, allowing players to refuel their ships in space and create long range communication networks.- Impulsegamer

My only issue is that KSP is still a really tricky game and I feel that a bit more could have been done to improve the tutorial and how to use these new features.- Impulsegamer

The voice acting and music add to a great atmosphere that will certainly draw you in and you won’t be able to help trying to figure out “whodunnit” before the game finally lets you put all the pieces together. It’s a fun game with a few quirks… but if you like detective adventure games then this may just be right up your alley… just be careful it’s not a dark alley with mobster goons!- Impulsegamer

For the price it is… I wouldn’t even say wait for a sale, I’d just say buy this game… it will challenge you, it will pull at your heart strings… but I think, especially in this day and age, we need games like this to remind us to care for one another and to point out what is really important.- Impulsegamer
