A more focused, streamlined Pokémon experience that trades rolling hills for boulevard cafes and a greater focus on characters and story.- Impulsegamer

Floor kids is the type of game you just don’t want to put down. Every aspect of the game, from the fantastic animation and art design to the incredibly catchy dance tracks, has a gorgeous undeniable charm that is immediately affecting. It’s a shame that the single-player content is so thin and there’s no incentive for players to go back and ace their favourite songs, as most players will simply breeze through the game in an hour or so. For me though, Floor Kids has earned a permanent place on my Switch memory card, because you never know when the urge to bust a move might strike.- Impulsegamer

Overall, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 succeeds in doing what most anime-based games fail at. Its fluid, offers a tremendous amount of fan service, and not to mention its ridiculously fun to play through with fantastic production and an equally incredible soundtrack to boot. For the One Piece fans out there looking for a game of their favorite anime, I say this is the best one we have on the market so far, despite the faults it has.- Impulsegamer

Ultimately Snow Scout is a low pressure skiing simulator with job simulator like aspects and if that sounds like something you’d enjoy then it’s definitely worth grabbing a copy… with the added bonus that you could well get a bit of a work out after all the skiing you will get up to.- Impulsegamer

The Nintendo Switch is fast becoming the definitive JRPG console of its generation, and Tales of Vesperia stands tall among its best games. The combat is fast paced and fun, there is plenty to see and do and the cast of characters are a joy to be around. If future ports and remasters are as delightful to experience as Tales of Vesperia, there is a lot to look forward to in the future of the Switch.- Impulsegamer

As far as city building games go in VR… I quite like Block’hood VR, you can delve deep into it and try and complete the challenges or just jump in casually for a nice relaxing bit of city tinkering. It’s at a pretty decent price generally but if you can grab it on sale then even better. If you miss the old days of Sim City this does hit some of those nostalgic points all while letting you experience it in a far more personal manner, right down to watching your little residents (human and animal) go about their lives.- Impulsegamer

If you haven’t had the pleasure of witnessing Guerrilla in motion for your own eyes, do yourself a favour and pick this one up – it’s still some of the most enjoyably catastrophic experiences gaming has to offer.- Impulsegamer

If you can get over the lack of analogue acceleration (although a GC controller will fix this), GRID Legends: Deluxe Edition offers a robust and rewarding simcade racing package, with one of the most entertaining story modes I’ve seen in a racing game in donkeys, and it stars Dr Who! Whether you choose to take to the track in handheld or docked mode, there are plenty of options to get GRID looking and playing exactly how you want. Toss in a truckload of DLC and core racing that looks and feels fantastic to play, and you’ve got yourself one of the best racing games on the Switch 2 to date.- Impulsegamer

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD fails in all the same ways that recent Final Fantasy titles seem to fail: the convoluted plots, terms, and concepts; the extravagant cutscenes; the didactic storytelling; the use of character stereotypes as a crutch.- Impulsegamer

Life is Strange Episode 3 Chaos Theory definitely challenges mainstream gaming with a quaint almost Twin Peaks meets Veronica Mars like experience that is filled with emotion, excitement and real-world drama.- Impulsegamer

The Sims 4: Journey to Batuu is an excellent addition to The Sims 4 and is absolutely worth the cost of entry if you find yourself in the middle of the venn diagram of fandoms for both Star Wars and The Sims 4. With three different faction questlines and multiple areas to explore, there’s plenty of story-based content to play through. But if faction quests aren’t your thing, Batuu is still an excellently designed world that is bursting with things to do and places to explore. There’s also a tonne of decor styles and clothing that you can use to give your Sim’s life a little Star Wars flavour. While you may not be able to build a treehouse for a family of Ewoks, Journey to Batuu has enough Star Wars-themed goodness that a little imagination and creativity can get you excitingly close.- Impulsegamer

While the game is not going to please everyone, the game brings it old school harkening to some of the styles that started the action puzzle gaming of old. Warp is a nice straight to the point gaming experience that if you come ready to have some fun, you won't be disappointed.- Impulsegamer

Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space Remastered was a treat to play through. The game's characters will entertain you from start to end, and all its mechanics have been expertly remade. As such, it is a no-brainer for fans of the series, especially at the reasonable price of $20, and a great suggestion in general to gamers who enjoy a good laugh.- Impulsegamer

Age of Wonders: Planetfall is truly an awesome game and is excellent value for money. I can only describe this game as a console love child of the beloved board games Monopoly and Chess. Players, like myself, can easily find themselves spending 15+ hours on a single level, trying to complete all of the optional and story-based objectives. The one drawback of the game is that it’s not something that can be completed quickly and requires a level of planning and patience to play. However, this game does offer something for everyone regardless of experience or age.- Impulsegamer

Graphically, Iron Man VR is quite crisp and colourful on the PS4Pro and when matched with the excellent sound effects and super heroic music, it all comes together quite well with the gameplay that once again gives you the illusion that you are Iron Man. Add in hidden Easter eggs to be found and most gamers will easily finish this game in 8 to 10 hours and due to the fun factor of the title, it definitely opens itself to another play. All in all, a fun and must play VR experience on the PlayStation!- Impulsegamer

Elex II is an almost overwhelmingly ambitious and content-packed sequel that serves up more lands to explore, more people to interact with, and more choice and consequence to carefully consider. It has unavoidable rough edges in the technical and graphical departments that, for many raised on highly polished triple-AAA titles, won’t be easy to overlook, but in terms of providing freedom and reactivity that makes for truly engaging role-playing opportunities, it is a fun, satisfying package that few titles can measure up to, proving budget isn’t the be-all, end-all for a great RPG experience.- Impulsegamer
