If you’re not into real time strategy, this game won’t change your mind. There isn’t a huge difference between COH2 and its 2009 original, just prettier graphics, and a new campaign. However if snow and shooting Germans is your thing, snap this up immediately.

Is Planet Coaster 2 going to replace the original as my go-to park builder just yet? No, but it almost definitely will in the future. It’s early days, and to discredit the work that Frontier has put into Planet Coaster 2 would do them a huge disservice – there simply aren’t any other studios out there that push out such quality games. It’s still a way off becoming the ultimate theme park builder, but if other Frontier titles are to go by, give it a little time (and a little polish) and Planet Coaster 2 will undoubtedly be the sandbox my dreams.

Mr.Driller DrillLand is a colourful and bubbly experience filled with addicting and rewarding gameplay as well as an amazing soundtrack. The story and characters are simple, leaving a lot to be desired but is suited for its target audience. While the main campaign is short, there are still plenty of levels remaining afterwards with high replayability.

Overall it’s a very solid packaged. Both games are fantastic in their own way and still hold up. The feature upgrades available in Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy IX are nowhere to be found when they would have been most welcome. Considering the upcoming Final Fantasy XII remaster also contains these features makes this package stand out all the more. It is also a steep price point. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster may include two full games, but charging $80 seems a little ridiculous. Despite this it still comes highly recommended. Maybe just wait for a sale first.

In the end, Glee Karaoke Revolution Volume 2 on the Nintendo Wii is easily a must have game for Glee fans or "Gleeks" because some thought did go into making this title. Best of all, it is a game that can be played by people of all ages, whether you're 5 or 50 and with a few twists and turns thrown there and there, it's not your average Karaoke game. Add in 20 songs and you'll soon be a certified member of New Directions, whether solo or through multiplayer. Given these facts, Glee Karaoke Revolution Volume 2 is definitely worth checking out, especially if you're a fan of Glee and Karaoke games.

Tales of Berseria Remastered is a great game despite some disappointing aspects. The new improvements make gameplay noticeably better but the drawbacks make the experience a little worse than it could have been.

In the end, EA have created another fun game on the iPad and iPad 2 and have successfully ported their Need for Speed universe onto this format. The gameplay works well on the iPad and the controls are almost perfect, although a little simplistic at times.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 is a thoroughly enjoyable game that works best in medium doses. The game is oozing with One Piece references that I'm sure fans will get a huge kick out. Even if you are not familiar with the series, the game is still extremely accessible. In terms of combat, it's probably one of the most enjoyable games I've played all year as I play pirate superhero and knock my enemies into the air.

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed is a heartfelt love letter to the early days of Disney and the delightfully weird shorts that built the house of Mouse brick by brick. More than that it’s the kind of lovingly crafted platformer, with a unique hook, a gorgeous world to explore, and new adventures around every corner. There’s a word to describe it, its just on the tip of my tongue – monumentous?

The final episode of Life is Strange: Before the Storm solidifies its well-deserved place as one of the best prequel entries to a popular gaming franchise ever. It captures the original series aesthetic and narrative tone while successfully introducing its own new and unique story elements that enhance rather than subtract from the original game’s established setting. Its shorter episode count did feel like the reason for many storylines falling by the wayside in favour of Chloe, but its great writing throughout and emotional ending brings a satisfying conclusion to the overall LiS saga – though there is still one more bonus episode coming in 2018 for owners of the Deluxe Edition to look forward to.

Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is definitely a story-heavy game. My favorite parts were the eeriness of the storyline, the dialogue (and acting) of all the characters (especially the narrator), and the twist at the end. I would have preferred more jump scares and the ability to skip through some dialogue (that was a bit slow), but overall it was an enjoyable game to play.

Without the review copy, I might not have taken the leap to jump into what is essentially a great quality of life improvement on an already pretty strong base experience. My advice would be to wait for a sale to come around, it’s definitely worth your time, but maybe not quite your money.

If you love RTS games (and can stand a few movement/AI issues) then this is a great looking, interesting take on the genre. I still love the paintings that inspired the game and the idea of being able to “live in their world” for a while is pretty appealing in and of itself.

I still really love this game world and the mechanics they’ve developed for it. Using Jesse’s powers feels quite intuitive and powerful and is just a joy. If you haven’t grabbed Control already, grab the ultimate edition and you will get AWE with it anyway. If you already have the main game and want to learn more about Alan Wake and related characters then I’d still suggest it’s a worthwhile purchase.

Lego 2K Drive has everything a family should have. You can play it co-op with friends, families, especially little kids, and have a blast time. The creation part of the game is rich and just wait to see some of the most amazing cars build by the community of Lego in this game. The overall design of race tracks and side missions could have been better, but the part that is weak compared to all other things in the game.

Fate/Samurai Remnant adds another engaging title to this vibrant universe that is a very well crafted game from start to finish with strong gaming mechanics and a very engaging combat system. Further it is a living breathing world with quite a bit of attention to detail that makes exploration a treat. The game is also brought together by a very well written story with interesting characters, including real-world twists. The only downside is that it can be a little wordy at times with its visual novel implementation and at times, combat can be become a grind but fortunately the gameplay and universe more than makes up for this. Recommended.
