In the end, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is a visually impressive game that contains a very sturdy gaming engine. If you haven't played a traditional RPG in awhile, the learning curve is a little steep and challenging at the start but once you have the experience under your belt and selected a direction for your character, battles will slowly become easier but fortunately there is always something along the way to challenge you. This is what RPG's are all about and I sincerely hope that this game will become the template for games to come on the PC.- Impulsegamer

In conclusion Red Faction: Armageddon gives fans of this series what they want... destruction plus mayhem and it works on so many levels. The only issues with the game is the sometimes repetitive gameplay and odd graphical glitches. Compared to some of the other DLC's for the Call of Duty series, I think Call of the Dead is far my favourite because of the intricacies of the map that pay homage to all things Romero. With new weapons, enemies and some great team action to be found, Call of the dead is a must have download from XBox Live and really goes above and beyond the current DLC maps.- Impulsegamer

In the end, Pro Evolution Soccer 3D offers great controls on the 3DS with some good use of 3D graphics. There is definitely enough content in this game to keep even the most fussiest of soccer fans happy such as the Master League but when you attempt to explore more like online content and full license teams, these are unfortunately missing.- Impulsegamer

In conclusion, Operation Flashpoint: Red River is an interesting game that fits somewhere between Call of Duty: Black Ops and ArmA II. The game has been consoled down which is not a bad thing because the control system works quite well on the XBox 360. The single-player game is a little lacklustre but the developers should be commended on the realism incorporated into the game. However where it does shine is by playing online and with more DLC coming soon, this game might keep quite a few busy in the coming months.- Impulsegamer

Dirt 3 has modest game length; the concept over all does not grow tiresome which is great. It has solid fun gameplay from single player experience, to multiplayer online or even split screen multiplayer. Dirt 3 may not please everyone out there, what game does really? Dirt 3 is a solid addition to the series, which keeps rally car racing as the coolest thing out there.- Impulsegamer

The board game styled maps, and even the sound effects in this game are well done and flow together to make an original experience. It is well put together and can easily suck you in for hours, even when you're playing by yourself! Hoard is almost like a strategy game, but quicker and more destructive than most. If you enjoy quick game play and hectic atmospheres, Hoard sure does pack a hefty and addicting punch.- Impulsegamer

In conclusion, Dragon Quest VI is pure Japanese RPG and harkens back to a simpler time of exploration, turn-based combat and characters that sometimes never stop talking... err... texting. The problem with Dragon Quest VI is that it doesn't offer the player anything new in terms of new gameplay which is like playing a similar game of this genre 5 or 10 years ago. However there is something endearing about this title that offers both relaxation and excitement. Even though I've seen it all before, there was something inside me that wanted me to keep playing due to the combat, class customisation, discoveries and to an extent the story.- Impulsegamer

In the end, Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale doesn't offer the gamer anything new in terms of gameplay but gives players a classic sword and sorcery experience plus 10 or so hours of gameplay. It may not be the most exciting game of the year but considering the cost, it's actually not that bad either. If you are a fan of the classic Dungeons & Dragons rules and game settings than you really should check out this game, provided you like button smashing.- Impulsegamer

Having played both Super Street Fighter IV and Dead or Alive Dimensions, DOAD is far superior is our books and is easily one of the best fighters available on any portable console. The gameplay is flawlessly fun and even though we have seen it all before, this may be the fact on home consoles but not in the portable world of gaming. The developers have included enough fan service to make any Dead or Alive fanboy or girl glee from joy but best of all, it's got the gameplay and the graphics.- Impulsegamer

Overall, Thor feels like it is a rushed movie tie-in game with seemingly little thought about the core mechanics of the game, it feels too like there was little in the way of play testing prior to release. To sum up, this game has poor graphics, bad gameplay, average sounds and most likely will only see one play through, if that. At the end of the day, the game feels exactly like what it is, a rushed movie tie-in game.- Impulsegamer

Overall if you are a gamer who is looking for a game that requires thinking, investigating, and crime solving this is the game for you. The well-written cases and deep investigations will appeal to those who like those things. If you are a player who loves graphics and innovation then this is also the game for you since the game does something that is surprising nowadays and creates a one-of-a-kind game that no other game I'm aware of has done before. However, if you are a player looking for an action game you'll want to skip this one or maybe rent it.- Impulsegamer

In the end, the missions are the same just different loot drops. The upgrades and different types of ship is the highlight of the game and it is a great way to bring a classic title to its modern players. In the end, Glee Karaoke Revolution Volume 2 on the Nintendo Wii is easily a must have game for Glee fans or "Gleeks" because some thought did go into making this title. Best of all, it is a game that can be played by people of all ages, whether you're 5 or 50 and with a few twists and turns thrown there and there, it's not your average Karaoke game. Add in 20 songs and you'll soon be a certified member of New Directions, whether solo or through multiplayer. In the end and as mention, Steel Diver is a game you'll either love or hate. As opposed to running out and purchasing it, you might want to test it out first unless you're a fan of simulators and then I would recommend that you run out and buy this title. It's great that Nintendo are supporting other genres than their core games and hopefully Steel Diver will lead to other ventures into uncharted waters as opposed to arcade endeavours. Duodecim is a worthy prequel to FF:D. It improves on FF:D and still keeps rewarding Final Fantasy fans allowing them to reenter the Final Fantasy universe once more. In conclusion, Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars was one of the best games I played all year and probably comes in a close third from Dragon Age II and Call of Duty: Black Ops. I needed something less serious and more "fun" and this game was it. As it doesn't take itself too seriously, the developers have made some truly funny moments in the game that had me smiling throughout the game. Mass Effect 2 is one of the best RPG titles on the PS3 in quite some time and usually this genre is quite neglected or has poor third party releases.- Impulsegamer

For now, DC Universe is a little rough around the edges and hopefully the developers will release additional areas in the upcoming months but for now, my experience was a little less than satisfying.- Impulsegamer

In conclusion, Midnight Mysteries Salem Witch Trials works on most levels and contains some exceptional graphics and a haunting soundtrack. Puzzles are not as difficult as some other hidden object games but unfortunately the replay value is quite limited to either one or two attempts.- Impulsegamer

At this time the game is just a scoot and shoot um up game, it does not attempt to do much more than that. The hard-core fans of the Apache Helicopter may enjoy this passable Helicopter game. Those looking for a more polished game complete with any meaningful story may have to look somewhere else.- Impulsegamer

In conclusion, EyePet PSP is a mini version of the PS3 version and for the most part, it actually works, however some of the augmented reality games are a little lacklustre and does require some additional space.- Impulsegamer

Bloodstone: 007 will draw more of the James Bond fans. Gamers looking for something different may not be as impressed, though those that give the game a chance may well find a game sprinkled with a few gaming relished moments, far and between as they are.- Impulsegamer

Saw II: Flesh & Blood tries to bring a great deal of emotion into a game, this is something that developers have been trying to do for years and very few games have accomplished this effectively. Saw II fails to deliver this, it is difficult to become attached to the lead character and without this attachment it is difficult to be overly concerned about the characters.- Impulsegamer

SingStar Dance is definitely a party game and if you have a party coming up, this title would definitely be a winner and is something fresh as opposed to SingStar which this game can still do.- Impulsegamer

At its heart, the game features a collection of mini-games which some work and some just don't. Just like all casual party games, Start the Party does target the younger gamer, more specifically those under 15.- Impulsegamer
