Amazing, fascinating, brilliant and never frustrating despite its conceptual design, Monument Valley is a brief puzzle game that will be long-remembered thanks to its art direction and its unforgettable levels.

Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is a barely average game. It's got some nice ideas, but they don't translate in a really interesting and fun game.

Despite the clear efforts and a few undeniable merits (most of all the facial scan tech), Kinect Sports Rivals fails right where it should have shone: the use of the new Kinect doesn't seem that groundbreaking at all, and the title is by no means a point of no return in motion controlled gaming. With shallow gameplay and the overall lack of fun, the result can't be that exciting.

Forest Hunt is a solid second act for Joe Dever's Lone Wolf return, thanks to a compelling story, new enemies and the diabolical Shanti's Cube challenge. Forge Reply did a great job in making smartphones and tablets the perfect platform for the revival of gamebooks.

Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition is complete by name and complete by nature, with lots of extra content to explore. Technically, however, it is an extremely bland debut of the series on PlayStation 4.

MXGP is a satisfactory compromise between arcade and plausibility. A very good motocross game that relies entirely on the handling. Ride it in a trance, a jump after another, searching for the best lap time.

Goat Simulator is a little, stupidly fun indie game that you will love, even if it's well far from technical perfection.

If you like Contra, you can't go wrong with Mercenary Kings. By adding the loot, Tribute changes slightly a working formula and respects Konami's legacy. Shooting is addictive, the action is fast-paced and the pixel art, made by Paul Robertson, is simply wonderful.

A true masterpiece, amazing on the Sony platforms just like it was on Xbox 360. If you never played Fez, now it's your chance. Don't miss it.

An addictive, hypnotic, and severe game, that should appeal any kind of gamer and gives a whole new dimension to the idea of couch multiplayer.

There are no reason for that 'Simulator' word in the title, given the fact that controls are clumsy on purpose in order to create the greatest possible mess (inside and outside your patient), but nevertheless this is a game that makes you laugh, and it's not a thing to be underestimated.

Platformines is a simple, clever and fun action game: you'll be lost in space for a very long time, but beware, sometimes it can be harsh and punishing. With its resemblance to Bordelands (loot), Spelunky (random generated area), Magiko Gaming does the right thing.

Funny and with some nice character design, but there's not enough interesting gameplay to support the nice visuals and the humour.

Blackpowder Games' debut is a thrilling experience, which sometimes is able to scare the player. With its creepy atmosphere, you won't get bored, but the concept sometimes is clumsy and recurring. Even with its flaws, it's a delightful horror game.

A simple game if compared to Magic, nonetheless the Blizzard CCG delivers a fair amount of depth for the average player. There is a little shade of pay-to-win, but is perfectly possible to have fun without spending a dime.

Another bland metroidvania game with nothing particularly exciting to offer. There are too many great alternatives to give this one a shot.

If you are a fan of the Tales Of series this is a golden chance: one of the finest installments of the series is now available in the glory of HD, and despite Dawn of the New World fails to keep pace with its bigger brother, Tales of Symponia alone is worth the price of this collection.

A very short full game, yet a super-satisfying prologue: don't look for the full body of The Phantom Pain in Ground Zeroes, you will find only its promising ghost structure.

Esteban and the Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Worlds is a puzzle game that begins pretty well but gets worse very quickly due to a strong repetition, a confusing plot and a very low difficulty level. Technically it would not even be bad and the fans of the original TV series will appreciate the animated cut-scenes, but the rest of the game (including the weak stealth sections) is not so good.

With its creepy atmosphere, Master Reboot sometimes is able to do the right thing. Sadly, there are too many flaws and from a technical point of view the game lacks of polish. Even the diehard fans of the horror genre won't be satisfied by its core gameplay.
