It's like a perverse mix between Monument Valley and Lemmings, producing a fun and very good looking puzzle game. The less than perfect controls keep it from reaching excellence.

Another psychedelic, frustrating, engaging and original mobile game for you quick matches.

Fun, engaging, addictive and frustrating: this is the typical mobile game, with a nice, unique and well implemented idea.

Under the retro style there's a very entertaining platform/shooter.

A nice and very good looking, but also too simple, linear and limited an adventure, even for its young target.

Bound by Flame fails to deliver on its promises and this is mainly because the combat system is simply not good enough. It's decent enough to play though, but way too generic to stand out.

Outlast: Whistleblower is a good DLC with at least two big advantages; it's not boring as Outlast, which in the long run could become repetitive, and is much more driven side gore-violence, with some really disturbing and excessive scenes.

On its own, Red Dragon is a great game. But it just doesn't do much to progress the series. Still, we are talking about the most realistic, tactically deep and visually gorgeous RTT on the market.

A bad implementation of the free to play concept in a multiplayer-less SoulCalibur chapter. The heavy server issues also add to the disappointment.

Act three is maybe less “spectacular” in terms of visual direction than the previous two, but it's another incredibly well written game, full of crazy ideas and fresh situations. It's also a very particular game, fully based on interactive narration. But by now you should know if you like it.

1849 isn't really a bad game. It's just a little game, with too little to do and too little to see.

Engaging and well structured, LEGO The Hobbit is not on par with the best previous LEGO videogames due to the repetitive nature of certain sections and to a certain lack of innovation in its mechanics. Still, lots of fun if you play the co-op mode.

A little big game full of charm and personality: smart, funny and deeply original, Stick It To The Man is definitely worth your time and money. Or at least that's what the minuscule alien in my brain is telling me.

There are three more hours of the usual Arkham series gameplay in this cold, cold piece of DLC, and this should be enough to decide if it's worth buying or not.

Hitman GO is a great puzzle game, with a unique visual style and a lot of brilliant contents. It manages to capture the essence of Agent 47, giving a fresh new touch to the series.

This is probably the best version of the game: touch controls are intuitive and precise, and Advanced Edition's content offers a hundreds of hours of challenging but rewarding gameplay.

A deep and fascinating first person puzzle/adventure/exploration/whatever game, with a lot of content by itself, even if you don't care about the nice music editor you can unlock by finishing it.

The second half of Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse is a great step forward and it's better than the first. Puzzles are clever and the story, epilogue aside, it's fine too. Take a chance and go with Nico and George: and don't forget Paris.

Warlock II manages to be a fun, elegant, even if not overly deep, strategy game. The AI won't win any Nobel prize, but the whole package is quite decent.

Daylight is an horror game that despite its many limitations in gameplay and longevity, manages to keep its scary promises mainly thanks to a dark setting of great effect. The fear, though, is not enough to make a good horror game.

A zany, brilliant concept and unfortunately pretty much nothing else: Octodad: Dadliest Catch literally doesn't have a spine capable of holding everything up, making it closer to a wasted opportunity rather than the next big indie thing.

It hasn't got much innovation, that's for sure, but Leo's Fortune is a great platform/puzzle game, with lovely graphics and a lot of depth, especially if you're aiming to the top scores.

Child of Light is a delightful game, graced by stunning visuals and a solid combat system, capable of giving a fresh new touch to the genre. Ubi Montreal's game is creative and entertaining, as well as one of the finest JRPGs for some time now.

Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage? is not really the typical lazy tie-in created as an easy cash cow: here and there you can see some intriguing ideas and cool stuff "à la Adventure Time", yet the inconsistency of the gameplay and the lack of fun seriously compromise the overall experience. Wouldn't it be time for a truly mathematical videogame?
