Amplitude is a fascinating rhythm game, that focuses on hardcore electronic music. But it gives the player the somewhat unsatisfying feeling to have to catch up with music, rather than "creating" it.

A narrative adventure that succeeds in a truly remarkable feat: inserting good and not repetitive environmental puzzles into the adventure while keeping the experience simple and approachable. A simple but solid game, not too long and not too short, that only fails in not being able to best tell its story. SCARF remains a product that will make you spend 4-5 pleasant hours, and it's enough.

Lacking in innovation and technical prowess, Rune Factory 5 compensates with a solid and faceted experience that could eat a good chunk of your spare time if you get entangled in its intricate web of different mechanics.

The surreal and decadent world of After Us is impressive: although it is not a large-caliber production, the developers of Piccolo Studio have been masters in using the means at their disposal to create impactful visual compositions. The mechanics aren’t innovative per se, but the chain of tools made available to the player, combined with a certain freedom granted during exploration, allows the action to settle on a good pace.

Shadow Warrior 3 is a fast, spectacular and over-the-top arena shooter (with bland platforming sections) and, on this front, it works very well. Don't ask for anything more, though.

Bookbound Brigade is a stylish, fun and unique light metroidvania with a brilliant concept. It lacks of polish and balance, sometimes the control scheme is imprecise and the combat system is a little bit flat, but the platform sections are generally great and the idea of the eight-bound-brigade works well.

A racing game full of contents and cars, fun to drive with the standard controller, but unfortunately plagued by some technical issues and an old graphics engine.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is just one of many musou beat'em up, but it is done with competence and will delight One Piece fans.

Magicka 2 is a funny and entertaining co-op experience, but should have focused a little more on innovation.

A funny Pokémon clone with a “Jurassic” spin: the combat system is good enough, but the graphic is really weak and the action a bit too repetitive in the long run.

NHL 24 is a decent game: not the masterpiece we dreamed of, but an honest simulation with renewed and accessible gameplay, especially after the corrections made by EA Vancouver. We liked the "on the ice" innovations, while the content ones are hard to judge. Be a Pro and Franchise are becoming obsolete: new things are needed.

Fun and spectacular, Payday 3 marks a decent return of the Payday gang by offering refined gameplay and several new features that are also quite interesting. However, the various positive aspects, such as the possibility of swapping hostages and completing most robberies silently, are contrasted by a small number of missions and a progression system that is too slow.

Don't get fooled by its pixel-art: The Count Lucanor is a cruel survival horror, filled with puzzles and mystery. It's a simple adventure, easy to pick up and play. There are some flaws, but nothing too serious.

No pain, no gain. Fenix Rage is harsh, strong and will punch you in the face, with no remorse and no regrets. If you accept its challenge, you'll find something interesting. But beware: anger and rage with the joypad are around the corner.

Politically speaking, Tropico V is as conservative as they come: it seems committed to reforms, but in the end just supports the status quo.

LEGO Bricktales is a game with a double personality: fun and inspired on one side, problematic and badly optimized on the other. But despite the obvious flaws it still manages to entertain thanks to its mix of brick-based constructions and puzzles.

A good hunting game, deserving of being put up there with Monster Hunter. Too Bad it seems to shy away from the seriousness of its own dark setting by putting on the front unrealistic and unlikable characters.

An interesting, but too short, adventure about a kid searching for hi lost dad. A very good tribute to classic LucasArts games from a promising studio. Unfortunately the ending of the game is somehow rushed, with linear progression and simplified puzzles and situations.

An overall enjoyable tromp into the fantasy half of the Warhammer universe. Many similarities with Diablo 3 allow Chaosbane to differentiate itself from its other rivals.
