A pretty good action-adventure, with a fantastic world design. The combat system is a little bit too simple, but the experience is really positive. Recommended.

Gorgeous to look at and very fun to play, Unruly Heroes is a pleasant surprise, especially good if you play it with friends.

Forgive me Father has confirmed all the good things seen in the Early Access version and is a candidate to become one of the best old-fashioned FPS of the year.

FIFA 23 is the perfect goodbye party for the EA Sports franchise. HyperMotion 2.0 is brilliant in portraying intensity, dynamism and hi-tense rhythm football. The gameplay is hectic and engaging, even though quite unbalanced in terms of offensive/defensive action and the goalkeepers AI is quite questionable. If you like offensive football and epic individual duels, FIFA 23 will provide hours of fun both in single and multiplayer, while the "new" Ultimate Teams works great.

In a beautiful mix between 2D e 3D, a little girl and her shadow show us the fragility of the human mind, between fears and anxiety. Along many psychological sessions, the two characters try to cooperate to solve a large number of puzzles based on light, shadows and gravity. A little gem.

Snake Pass is currently my personal surprise of 2017: a platformer-that's-not-really-a-platformer with strong puzzle elements and a pretty irresistible approach, built with passion and wit around an unconventional concept. It's also a bizarre and surprisingly hardcore experiment overall, one that will make some players fall in love while irritating others. it won't please everyone, but its desire for something original is certainly commendable.

Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission is a must buy for all fans of the Dragon Ball Universe. It offers an incredible amount of characters, cards and missions in which you will enjoy a good strategy card offensive game. It's nth-power's fan service, but it's good fun service.

Sniper Elite 5 is the natural evolution of Rebellion's third-person shooter, renewed with more refined gameplay mechanics and noteworthy freedom of action. The development team has managed to make another small qualitative leap, although there is still some work to be done (especially in the technical field) to achieve excellence.

One hell of a compilation, with new challenges and lots of customization options. But Capcom should let us buy the games one by one also.

Dragon Quest VIII is still a great adventure and retains its classical gameplay. The price is a bit high for the platform, but the game deserves it.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is a solid, well-written and fascinating expansion of an imperfect game. If you loved the original Morrowind and you wanna come back to those lands, characters and lore, you won’t be disappointed.

The Messenger is a brilliant action platformer (...or is it a metroidvania?), full of irony and pretty difficult jumps. The time shift between the 8-bit past and the 16-bit "future" is what makes the game shine - even with its low replayability.

A twisted fairy tale that dwells in the grotesque and in the macabre, Little Nightmares is a narrative platformer that you will eventually be remembered for its fascinating atmosphere (and its remarkable graphics and audio design) rather than for its gameplay.

Moss is magic. It's an impressive game, not just for the excellent use of PlayStation VR, and at the same time it's the perfect way to spread what VR is capable of.

With Imaginators, young players can have fun creating a wide roster of characters, but playing with a bunch of crystals is not the same thing of having actual characters in the real world, so some magic is lost in the process. The game is the usual action-platform-adventure and can delivery an enjoyable experience for the sixth year in a row, but the formula seems now in need of some rethinking.

MotoGP 20 follows the trajectory of last year's chapter in a slavish way, but does practically better every turn and detaches with a decidedly superior skill. Milestone worked continuously and brought the fastest lap home thanks to the finishing of the already excellent artificial intelligence system and the introduction of an additional level of depth in the races.

Even on PS4 A Realm Reborn is a great game, with the upgrade to Full HD which is especially useful for a better HUD management. The DualShock 4 is comfy enough, and the touchpad helps to navigate better the interface. The game's major issue remains the excessive lag (but it's still better than on PS3).
