Please do yourself a favor and buy Downwell now, on PC or on iOs, wherever it suits you. This masterpiece has a thing that most of modern AAA games lack: pure fun. A wonderful shoot'em up and a love letter to the genre.

A beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Spelunky 2 is all a sequel should be: polished, refined, bigger. A game of learning, a game of death, a game of emergent beautiful gameplay. Every second in this game is pure art: it will frustrate you, but in a positive way in which you will shout at the TV and then smile and retry. Just to die again, until you learn enough.

Hidden behind the tragicomic silhouette of a zany little spider lies a sublime distillation of cruelty and fine gameplay: Daddy Long Legs might be the first "survival" endless runner, but surely is the epitome of a must have. Do not miss it.

GRIME is an excellent soulslike metroidvania. Starting from a solid and consistent base layer that takes heavy inspiration from Dark Souls and Hollow Knight, it brings to the table its own ideas and concepts in order to offer an experience with its own rich personality. Inspired bosses, especially in the second half, and an excellent gameplay complete the package. Highly recommended.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is what we hoped for: a reconfirmation. Asobo has built a sequel in an almost artisanal way that knows perfectly where he has to bet his chips, where he has to stop and where there was no need to put his hand. The end result is once again a surprise, but for different reasons. A Plague Tale: Requiem has what it takes to make it better than its predecessor. It is true, I may have shown a certain mild disappointment on the graphic aspect but, given the starting point, signaling a slight improvement, even though it may be below expectations, still places the game as excellent example. Also because, A Plague Tale (the series) is not that, it never was. It has always been a memory to go through, it has always been the story of Amicia and Hugo. A story that, I bet, will remain in your memory. In the memory of the video game.

The Talos Principle is a masterfully executed first person puzzler, with a thought provoking narrative that delves with class into profound philosophical questions. Once you start playing and you figure out what's going on, it's hard to put the game down, even thought it's very demanding and intense.

Between court intrigues, disguises, deceptions and sleight of hand, Card Shark tells an historical era through a story, which, like the truth, is a prism with well-defined faces capable of reflecting light in an iridescent way. Nerial new game is a brilliant take on narrative adventure and card games, where the gameplay makes you feel in the mind of a real cheater in his never ending game against the destiny in search of freedom.
