RIDE has always aimed to be and remain the benchmark for motorcycle simulation, and this year once again, it has achieved its goal, surpassing itself in order to retain its crown. RIDE 6 is more than just an evolution of its formula, and that's a good thing.

The Quarry is no more than the best Supermassive creation ever. A solid story driven by a polished gameplay, great replayability, and some solid technique. A must have in this first half of 2022.

Here we are, the Switch 2 has its own racing game. The Mario Kart alternative is quite different, more substantial, but still lacks content despite a mountain of unlockables. We appreciate the user-friendliness ethos and the visual vibrancy, but it will always feel a bit thin beyond that initial layer - it's best suited to short multiplayer sessions, without the sustained appeal of a game like Smash Bros.

Call of The Mountain is far from being a big challenge in VR, but a great journey into the Horizon universe. Even if the lifespan is a little low, the sensations are excellent, and we will be ready to stack up for the next call.

Pacific Drive is a single-player survival game with a gripping atmosphere, ideal for fans of titles like Subnautica. We wouldn't have minded a little more storytelling at the end, so if any DLC comes along, we'll take it!

The long-awaited return of what was a revolutionary RPG in its day, but a more classic one today.

A new installment that breaks new ground in terms of content thanks to its canonical contribution to the Zelda universe, but fails to bring anything fresh to the table in terms of form, with a slightly outdated musou formula.

F1 Manager 2022 has almost everything needed for a successful first installment. Satisfying gameplay, good immersion and licensed content that knows how to delight the fans of the discipline. The title lays a good foundation, and we are eager to see the developers expand the content for future sequels.

More than ever the trip is more important than the destination in Road 96, a game that works thanks to its stylish artistic direction, good writing, and some gameplay that stirs and spice up the narration.

A nice new coat of paint for Alan Wake, and the gameplay doesn't change a bit for better or worse. An unforgettable experience even now, but might be that your memories of the game itself are embellished and Alan Wake did age a bit.

Tandem: A Tale of Shadows has a very sketchy staging and uneven technique. The game finds its strength in its solid gameplay, even though it is suffering from a lack of polish.

Firaxis gathered its courage to rethink a license which, more than ever, was in need not of novelty but of a new, solid foundation. There's still a lot to build on, but if we find that 'just one more turn' feeling back, Civilization VII also manages to seduce us for 'just one more game', which is probably the scariest thing I've ever written.

Khazan sorts out what he wants to keep from the Souls formula, rounding off the edges. It's a shame, though, that some elements that have little to do with the genre have managed to creep in.

Curse of the Dead Gods is a great action roguelite title that let you balance risk with precise control and complex gameplay mechanisms. PassTech Games will need to flesh it out a bit in the coming months though.

Like a Dragon Gaiden is a perfect appetizer before the main course. Just a few weeks away from the release of Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, Gaiden serves as a reminder of events from previous episodes, reconnects with our favorite protagonist, and offers what the franchise does best: epic situations, complex and endearing characters, and a fantastic way to unwind.
