I have heard that the co-op at least offers the fun of another player, but I can’t imagine anyone would find this game entertaining for more than a single session. Between the repetitive quests, boring gameplay, and numerous glitches, I’d recommend skipping AereA entirely. The thing is - music-themed games with retro inspiration can be done well; this just isn’t one of them.- ICXM

Bit Dungeon+ is not very fun. I really didn’t enjoy my time with it even though this game belongs to my favorite genre. I spent ten hours in Bit Dungeon+ and I will say that is enough. The game did not give me any internal or external motivation to replay it. The difficulty spike, clunky controls, underwhelming music, and disappointing artwork lead to a game that is much weaker than it should be.- ICXM

This game has clearly had love put into it from the team, without the bugs and limited content I could easily see it being worth your time and money. Sadly, in its current state, you’re better off playing something else.- ICXM

Troll and I is a mess of an experience all the way through. With bare-bones gameplay, Xbox 360-era graphics and an atrocious frame rate, Troll and I is not worthy of anyone’s time at its $50 price tag.- ICXM

Verdun is a perfect example of why PC games cannot just be copied to console without care and thought. Poor graphics, server connection issues, and terrible controller remapping hold this game back from being successful on console. In addition to being needlessly inaccessible, Verdun spoils the potentially interesting content it has to offer with crashes, lag, and disconnections.- ICXM

Playing Mordheim is an exercise in tedium. It’s slow, dreary, ugly, frustrating and repetitive, with no sense of excitement and a distinct lack of polish. The amount of numbers and stats and rules the game has give the illusion of strategic depth, but this one simply belongs in the depths.- ICXM

Kyurinaga’s Revenge is not a good game. While it is a lot more competent than it’s hack-and-slash predecessor, developers Recotechnology have created a sub-par, unfinished experience with terrible co-op gameplay and slapdash level design.- ICXM

Releasing a six-year old port onto the Xbox One without reworking the graphics will probably keep this title from any hope of success and the control scheme shows that this game still feels at home on PC, especially while on horseback.- ICXM

Earthlock is one of the hardest games to critique. Whilst everything works and is at least competent, everything feels very lacklustre and underwhelming with Earthlock only offering the bare minimum of what a turn-based RPG can offer.- ICXM

I think FreezeME is a game that should be avoided. From redundant level design to terrible visuals and controls, this game does not do anything special. While the game is not unplayable, it is uninspired and uninteresting.- ICXM

While the game can be fun in short bursts, the gameplay loop is designed around you playing for extended periods of time. This, combined with subpar visuals and fairly simplistic gameplay, makes Lost Sea an unrecommendable title compared to similar games on Xbox One.- ICXM

Although the visuals are indeed terrible, they are the least of this game’s problems. I was wrong to be optimistic; I’ve played plenty of dreadful games on Xbox One, but this is one of the worst ones yet.- ICXM

With more polish and time, Soul Axiom could have turned out to be an amazing experience. There was potential in its narrative and puzzles that was wasted by poor presentation and level design. Soul Axiom had decent individual parts that never quite coalesced into a satisfying whole.- ICXM

Shadwen attempts to mesh the genres of stealth-action and puzzle games in order to create a unique experience in an original medieval world, but its time-control mechanics have little purpose other than to conceal the broken AI and the tedious gameplay.- ICXM

Grand Prix Rock 'N Racing is dull. It’s boring. Bad AI mixed with awful physics and a progression system that causes the game to be infuriating from the get-go, Rock 'N Racing is one of the worst racers I’ve played on the Xbox One.- ICXM

Coffin Dodgers could have been the Kart-racer that fans of the genre were waiting for. It also could have been good. Instead, Coffin Dodgers is an extremely limited and mediocre attempt at creating a Kart-racer that somehow manages to stutter along on hardware that should far exceed the requirements of this title. This, along with its low texture quality, low-poly models and basic to the point of boring gameplay—Coffin Dodgers looks and plays as old as its cast.- ICXM

Apart from the graphics and premise of shooting aquatic paranormal creatures, there really isn’t much here. This is a shame because the concept is so unique that it just feels like a wasted opportunity.- ICXM

By far the most appalling thing about Lichdom: Battlemage is not its dull method of storytelling, its unsatisfying combat, its convoluted crafting system, or even its game-breaking frame rate issues. The most appalling thing is the sheer lack of sincere communication and apology from Maximum Games, who have released the most utterly broken Xbox One game that I have ever played and have demanded a whopping $50 for it.- ICXM

While initially ‘Slain!’ seems like it should be a great product with its gorgeous pixel-art, it only takes a small time for everything to fall apart thanks to countless bugs, repetition and God-awful combat. ‘Slain!’ needs to be improved in almost every aspect before I can even think of recommending it to anyone, metal-fan or not.- ICXM

It's great to see a game that still tries to keep old couch competitive multiplayer gameplay alive, but unfortunately, In Space We Brawl isn't exactly the best game out there for that. The game fails to keep the player interested in it for more than a couple of games until the lack of variety and overall claustrophobic and chaotic arenas start to slowly take the fun out of it.- ICXM

Overlord: Fellowship of Evil is not even vaguely, remotely fun. The gameplay is horrible to control, frustrating to endure and monotonous to the point of having less variation than one of those tabletop metronome ball things. It wastes the concept and offers nothing to anyone that has ever heard of another videogame.- ICXM
