An excellent game, identical to the original in many respects, but bigger and more engrossing. [June 2012, p.75]- Hyper Magazine

In a world of 200 hour RPG epics, it’s nice to have something so focused on a core experience. There’s depth here for those seeking it, or you can just make visitors cringe by showing them all the bone-breakers and finishers. Look, Nanna, this guy gets his spine ripped out through his mouth.- Hyper Magazine

It may not be a traditional Thief game and the story may be awful but there's still some great stealth to be had. [May 2014, p.66]- Hyper Magazine

Arkham Knight is certainly a bigger, and in many ways a better game than its predecessors, but those attempts to make it ‘more badass’ do more harm than good. Even so, any frustrations I have with Arkham Knight don’t take away from the fact that I was unable to stop playing for four days straight, frequently in awe. It’s a stunning achievement in many ways, a game of ridiculous polish and obvious effort, and its best moments are good enough to make the worst moments worth bearing.- Hyper Magazine

If this is the quality we can expect of Kickstarter games, then bring on Project Eternity and Doublefine Adventure. [Oct 2013, p.57]- Hyper Magazine

Rises to the occasion, even if it's not quite "Metal Gear" solid. A slightly tweaked, Kojima-written sequel would be perfect. [Apr 2013, p.61]- Hyper Magazine

Lacks a proper end game, but for the 12 odd hours it will take to finish the campaign is still a great deal of fun. [Aug 2013, p.66]- Hyper Magazine

That it's so thoroughly entertaining despite being mostly identical to its predecessors speaks volumes about the quality of Rocksteady's original design, and of Warner Montreal's understanding of same. [Jan 2014, p.68]- Hyper Magazine
