Within two hours we beat every Championship mode, and made it through ten of the arcade matches, where we were quickly squashed by the cheap AI. It's a shame, because we were having so much playing up until that point.

Where the game takes a steep drop from the PS2 version is in the controls - and this is totally because of the cumbersome design of the GameCube controller...[But it's] still a giant orange ball of fun.

The controls in NHL 2K2 get the nod for being the most intuitive in the genre.

It's way too short, but the game does go over the top in both the action and the premise, and it is fun.

Just when you want to like a wrestling game, and there are a lot of things to like about WWF Raw, the cheap AI makes the game difficult and frustrating to play.

There's also a smoothness to the throws and fielding that looks great, and the pitching animation is as realistic as you could hope for. There are even different animations for when a fielder loses one in the sun.

It has everything a classic game should - good, inoffensive graphics, sturdy controls, and replayability - and it leaves a satisfying cramp in your fingers when you're done.

Placing first is about as hard as finding Star Wars fan clubs on the web... Revenge is a dish best served cold - this Revenge never warms up.

The addictive nature of Puyo Pop makes it one of the best puzzle games ever.

The way the Advance interacts with the Cube is flawless, and if you have Sonic Advance (and we recommend you pick it up), it's a nice touch, with lots of promise for future games.

Seriously addictive - and seriously fun.

A good, enjoyable experience for people who just want to beat each other up, and are unconcerned with rules, penalties, or fairness.

If you do find a happy medium between the controls and the game play, you'll find yourself actually digging the game - but like most good games, the fun is over way to quick, With twenty missions total in the game, we beat about seven of them within an hour.

The objectives in the game go from too easy to patience-busting hard, and that's a shame, because if there was consistency in the objectives, the game could have headed in another direction.

It doesn't seem to have the same tension and competitive spirit that past T&F games did - and the selection of games represented seems overly eclectic.

The things that made Sonic a hit back in the old days make it a classic now - fast game play, interesting intricate levels, and detailed and colorful graphics.

Not a bad little game, and the four player option makes it a lot more competitive.

A good game with solid mechanics backing up its good visuals, but the depth and breadth of the game will have you sitting around waiting for more snow in a very dry season.

Drakan tries - and sometimes succeeds - in being better than average, but it eventually gets Drakan'd right back to a formulaic adventure game.

You'll want to play the game with the Japanese voices and English subtitles on. It looks cool (like your playing a Kurosawa film),and the Japanese voice acting is far superior to the English voice acting.

Brevity is what kills this game. It's not impossible to play through the whole game in under an hour, and some of the side games, like a 2-player head-to-head game, just don't seem to extend the fun.

Using elements of "Ridge Racer," "Gran Turismo," and even Sega's "Super Hang On," Namco has come up with one of the best motorcycle racing games ever.

Looks better than NFL Gameday 2002, and plays better than QB Club or Gameday, but it doesn't have the serious adjustments in the computer controlled players to compete with Madden, Fever, or NFL 2K2.

There have been a rash of bad-to-mediocre RPG's for the PS2 lately, and this one rises above the dreck with the combo system and the solid graphics and sound.

Once you've played a while, and realize that a full franchise mode is missing, along with create-a-player and free agency trades, you'll realize that Drive didn't drive hard enough to compete with 2K2 or Live.

Fun, pure and simple - the scenarios and environments it's based on were paid for with blood, sweat, and tears. It's makes the game an honor to play.
