Lords of the Fallen has plenty of problems, but we loved the combination of the same old soulslike formula with something as unique and interesting as the "double world" exploration. If they manage to fix some (if not all) of the problems, this might be one of the hidden gems of 2023... and one of the best soulslike of recent memory.

If you're looking for a strong challenge, you won't find any in here, but if you have toddlers at home or you just want to dive in Pokemon world without major headaches, this game will please you as much as a nice cup of coffee.

It's not the biggest or most spectacular game in the series, but it doesn't pretend to be that way either. If you want nostalgia for times gone by with a technical touch of present times, here you can enjoy it in style without having to connect to the Animus.

As Aston Martin did at the beginning of the season in Formula 1, Turn 10 Studios has made a clean slate and created a car with a very promising future. Due to its game-as-a-service nature, there is room for improvement, but Forza Motorsport is an impressive driving simulator that also adapts to all types of audiences.

Like Jeppe Carlsen's previous games, Cocoon is a special title, a wonderful little puzzle adventure that plays with original concepts and ideas. It may be short, it may leave you wanting more... but it is one of those indie games that, as soon as you are attracted to the genre, you have to play it no matter what.

If you ever dreamed with a game adaptation of "The Adventures of Fly", Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai might scratch that itch... But don't go expecting something with the same level of quality and magic of a true Dragon Quest game.

Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster is a great opportunity to discover, or replay, two role-playing gems from the GameCube era. Although the visual improvement is evident, Bandai Namco could have done more, as translating Baten Kaitos Origins or polishing the technical hiccups. Even with that, both are great adventures, with a great combat system.

Sure, it's remarkably similar to the base game in many ways, but Ada's adventure finds its own course, one that enriches the core experience and offers some explosive, remarkable fights.

EA Sports FC 24 brings us a little closer to the most realistic football. The new features in immersion are the perfect wrapper for a gameplay that is essentially the same, but which features more important new features than we expected. We only regret that it continues to suffer from continuity and the lack of new features in FIFA game modes.

It offers hi-octane moments and its proposal is undoubtly attractive, but it's also crammed with bugs and some graphics that seem to come directly from the PS3-360 era.

Phantom Liberty is a fantastic expansion, with a great story, memorable characters, and quality side content, but the real reason you won't want to stop coming back to Night City is the 2.0 update.

Even though performance problems were very annoying, we had a good time returning to the world of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet with The teal mask. It's a good expansion; maybe not great, but it's fun and leave us with the promise that the best is yet to come.

Even with questionable aspects such as the premium currency, The Crew Motorfest has tons of style and quality flashes, with a solid proposal that can connect with the most eclectic speed lovers (one race you are in the mud, the next on F1). Too bad that aspects such as the improvable multiplayer, or the "always online", affect the final result.

MythForce is an entertaining action and role-playing roguelite, which stands out for its 80's cartoon aesthetics and for being very oriented to 4 player coop. It has many "evils" of the subgenre (random level generation, repetition...), but if you're going to play it with friends, you'll have a great time. In solitaire, maybe not so much.

The guys at Netherrealm don't take too many risks here, but they have crafted a brutal game in any way, with a well designed fight mechanics and really, really fun to play.

Although at times it is too derivative, we had a great time with Lies of P. It is so well made in all aspects and the changes it introduces are so well thought out (despite not being groundbreaking), that we would have to lie not to recommend it.

It improves the previous game in some aspects, but it is not free from a certain imbalance and chaos. Even so, it is a fun proposal with a lot of multiplayer potential.

It manages to make you feel happy and relaxed with just the right dose of adventures. It's not for hardcore players, of course, but you'll appreciate it if you just want to escape to a more colorful reality.

It lacks some polish on the technical side, but if you love exploration and aren't afraid of one big "water level", Under the Waves is like a treasure hidden in the deep.

PS5 receives a superb port of Baldur's Gate 3, which has not sacrificed any content and technical cuts are negligible, unless you've played it before on a high-end PC. Maybe, the major complaint is that you can only play it with the controller, as mouse and keyboard support has been removed on PS5, as opposed to other games' ports.

Samba de Amigo: Party Central is a game that we will always keep close, either to work up a sweat or to have fun at parties. It's so fun and the song selection is so good, that you almost forget about the issues with motion controls.

The best Bethesda Game Studios has conceived a huge, colossal and exciting game, where each adventure can be different. It's not perfect, but it's certainly one of the games of the year.

Possibly the best Dragon Ball Z Kakarot DLC, simply due to the incorporation of a new and most interesting combat system, revitalizing the gaming experience. Also, recovering a lost saga like that of the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai is to be praised. A pity the cutting of some scenes and not being able to handle certain characters.

Kudos to EA for mentoring a game that brings new and effective ideas to the FPS formula. Immortals is a big, dynamic and appealing shooter, even with some derivative aspects in its aesthetics and design.

A dream for any fan of mechs, with great visuals and spectacular fights. But the steep difficulty when challenging bosses might put off some players, specially those who aren't familiar with the Souls formula.

Blasphemous 2 surpasses its predecessor in everything, thus becoming a new jewel of Spanish development and one of the best metroidvanias of recent years. It is an authentic work of art that we never tire of contemplating, listening to and -above all- playing. Praise the Miracle and praise The Game Kitchen.

It's a shame that the port shows so little effort, because the original game is still a masterpiece. Even with the flaws of the port, you should definitively play it.

In short, without many fireworks, The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood continues to uphold the spirit of companies with a lot of heart like Deconstructeam: that of making us think differently.
