The crowded genre of sports games opens its gates to a tennis sim that may not be revolutionary, but offers a technical side of its gameplay that may convince many players.

A remarkable port of the hit survival game we've already enjoyed on Xbox and PC. It prioritizes performance over resolution (and it really shows), allowing the huge garden to be brought to the Switch's circuits. Disappointing performance on desktop, but if you're looking to play it on portable, it's a good option.

Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes is a great trip back to the golden era of JRPG and a tribute to all the good things that Suikoden gave us. With nostalgia as its banner, this game manages to overcome its lack of innovation to deliver a great adventure that will take you back to simpler times.

Final Fantasy XVI says goodbye with The Rising Tide, a new dose of spectacle that will surely please those who loved the sixteenth entry, but which falls short of the expectations.

Like Portal and other puzzle games, The Talos Principle 2 is a small wonder that, in this case, does not stop at its intelligent challenges or its technical section. It spices its story with decisions and philosophical reflections that invite to think, even once the story is over. A small wonder, already available in physical format.

Harold Halibut shapes an attractive story led by a protagonist who manages to surprise the player. The magnificent artisanal artistic section accompanies this good script, but at times its approach becomes somewhat heavy on the playability. Here you have a good narrative adventure that could have aspired to be much more.

A good mix of ideas that work mostly fine, although some hiccups may bother certain players. Ideal for fans of old school survival horrors, even from the 16 bit era.

Nixxes once again signs an impeccable job. An exceptional port of a great adventure, with all the content included, which also has great optimization to work very well in different configurations. Without a doubt, PlayStation should make them the only studio in charge of porting their games to PC.

Rise of the Ronin will delight fans of feudal Japan and samurai. Team Ninja presents an action game with sublime combat and an attractive narrative that is only marred by its technical aspects. Its open world is nothing to write home about, but it emphasizes the ambition to go one step further. The path of the samurai is marked.

Princess Peach Showtime! is the typical case of a game that does not attract attention, but if you give it a chance, it has the weapons to conquer you. It is a simple game, for all audiences, that manages to catch you with a varied development and an overflowing sympathy. It plays in a different league to Super Mario Bros. Wonder, but it is fun.

If you miss the times when playing video games meant sharing experiences and secrets with your friends and games in which every step was a discovery, then look no further: Dragon's Dogma 2 is the game with the most heart you will find.

Designed for those who want to enjoy a classic adventure with modern comforts, this game will have a lot of fun for Derceto veterans. Don't expect scares that will take your heart out of your chest, but rather a mystery experience, with gray matter, some smell of gunpowder and pills of Lovecraftian lore.

Star Wars Battlefront: Classic Collection brings back two milestones from Star Wars video game history, and it's great to have them available on all consoles. Whether you get a lot of value and fun from them beyond nostalgia and fan service is a different question: the lack of crossplay and weak online play limit their long-term potential.

It's hard to stand out among open world adventures. Outcast 2 achieves this at times thanks to its ease and sense of freedom, but neither the missions themselves nor their visual performance manage to rise to the occasion.

Contra: Operation Galuga successfully recreates the original game released in 1987 and takes the spectacle to a new level, but a series of issues (slow and imprecise controls, mainly) make the experience very frustrating.

Vanillaware once again delivers a very special product that does not show fatigue within a genre that has experienced a "boom" in recent years. Unicorn Overlord is gigantic and manages to stand out based on quality and ambition, although it could have been a bit finer in some points in order to become a more original proposal.

This game would have blown the minds of the kids of the early 90s and it even holds a candle to today's standards. A safe bet, even when the difficulty curve could use some tweaking.

One of the toughest, most extreme multiplayer experiences we remember. Feeling its craziness and overcoming its challenges can be really really satisfying, but stay away from The Outlast Trials if you are an impatient player.

With almost 0 changes in gameplay and structure, Brothers' remake manages to offer a greater spectacle thanks to Unreal Engine 5, although it's not without technical problems at launch, as a remarkable stuttering and clipping, at least on PS5. If you played it back in the day you will find little new, and the extras and new features are a bit lazy.

Side Order is an expansion than Splatoon 3 fans shouldn't overlook: the roguelite format drastically improves how to enjoy Splatoon's single player content. Well balanced, progression is satisfactory without being frustrating, although you'll have to adapt to the change. Lots of replay value, even if it feels a bit short.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth successfully recreates the original title, elevating this part of the story to new levels and betting on a game format that, without being particularly innovative, works wonderfully. It is immense, fun, emotional and very varied, but above all it is a fantastic remake that keeps its promises.

For a debut game, my sincere applause to Ironwood Studios. Not only they have taken roguelite formula to new highs, integrating driving, deep survival mechanics and a captivating science fiction story, which gives sense to their original world. Despite the bugs or the fact that the roguelite formula doesn't appeal to you, it has "something".

Skull and Bones is not an absolute disaster, but it ends up throwing all its potential away. Its problem isn't that it's a game as a service, but that on a general level it's not structured well. It has standout moments and good ideas that make it enjoyable, but if this is AAAA, then let Davy Jones drag us all into the abyss.

Helldivers 2 doesn't invent anything, but what it does do, it does so well and in such a fun way that it is difficult not to fall at its feet. There are flaws, shortcomings and aspects that are not well balanced, but none of that stops it from being a fun game, a guilty pleasure, especially in co-op.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a great remake of one of the most special and fun games in the history of Nintendo. The graphical and sound renovation is perfect and the cooperative mode is fantastic. Perhaps it may lack some incentive for veterans, but this game is an absolute gem if you never tried the saga.

This game shows how a blast from the past can affect us: it helps us understand that some things don't age well, but it also works as a memento of a fascinating, innovative era. Recommended for tough guys and survivalists of a bygone era.

We need more games such as this one. Hack and slash is a trite genre, but Lysfanga manages to give it a new, fresh perspective. Not every aspect of the game is perfect, but its core is rock solid.
