Life is Strange: Double Exposure features a seductive storyline that quickly grabs you thanks to the gameplay novelty: travel between realities. However, the lack of variety and innovation in the gameplay means it can't stand out as much as it would like to.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is a platform game that runs away from standards to offer some very interesting mechanics, but, at the same time, it feels strange, like a portable game stuck in the pad of a home console.

Pang Adventures doesn't go too far from the original formula, but it adds enough novelties (weapons, types of bubbles...) to not feel the same. The best part it's the local coop, sharing Joy-Con with friends in its three modes. Maybe it falls short, but if you love challenges, here you will find some (online rankings included).

Metal Eden is a relentless first-person shooter, defined by the versatility of its protagonist, turning every skirmish into a showcase of skill. Though its length is brief and its visuals are not AAA-level, it manages to shine thanks to its gameplay and an engaging story.

Switch is an ideal platform for a concept like this one: simple dynamics and graphics, but a very effective gameplay that will keep you coming back for more.

Batman is back on its two first iterations from Rocksteady. Both game keeps being awesome in its mechanics and storytelling, but Virtuos has added new colors that made the games less darker. The games shows new textures and lighting, but its frame rate is less stable than on the original games. Anyway, worth playing if you haven't already.

It's not a very scary game, but Fobia makes you feel right at home if you are a fan of classical survival horror.

After five years inside the garage, GRID comes back to the track with a great reboot. It is not as fast as DiRT or F1 reboots, but it offers spectacular races on a few circuits, specially the urban ones.

Disney Illusion Island is an entertaining platformer with metroidvania vibes that will entertain both children and adults with its cooperative mode for four players. Visually it's a joy, almost like an animated TV series, but unfortunately it is very easy and short, and despite its abundant collectibles, it is not particularly replayable.

Kirby is an enchanting, colorful and well designed platform game, which is even better in four-player local co-op. Sadly, the game (which feels like a direct sequel to Kirby´s Adventure for Wii) is too easy and short.

Even with some hiccups which are normal coming from a tiny studio, Martha Is Dead has a strong personality and it offers a story that will soak our brains for a long time. It's not for the faint of heart, that's for sure.

We have some criticism on Sword and Fairy: Together Forever and in it's current state still needs some patches. But the truth is we were hooked while playing, because there's also a lot to love here. It has the potential and charm of the biggest roleplaying games mixed with a unique setting and characters.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes is a good game, has a sensational soundtrack, great puzzles, entertaining combat and cooperative gameplay that hooks everybody. However, it's also too simple, the difficulty is not well adjusted and it's far from being innovative.

Two fairly correct remakes that will especially appeal to those who did not know the originals. On the contrary, veterans may be missing more news and, in particular, the changes introduced by Pokémon Platinum.

Arcade Paradise is neither a great managing game, nor a a great minigame compilation, but the combination of both gameplay styles work well. We enjoyed its setting in the eighties, and the feeling of growing our own arcade empire. Some elements get repetitive after two or three days.

Nintendo World Championships NES Edition is a great tribute to the great classics that marked a generation and a fun and refreshing experience to enjoy 13 iconic works under a new approach. By bringing the speedrun mode to a wider audience, Nintendo once again demonstrates its great development skills.

Rocket Arena doesn't have the most inspired and original characters or settings, but it does have 10 well-designed characters, three fun modes and solid gameplay that keeps you hooked throughout your frantic games. It's fun for fun, and many times we don't want more than that.

Gears of War Ultimate Edition is still a frantic shooter, short, yet fun. The PC version includes additional content for multiplayer, and an amazing 4K resolution, with improved textures and new lightning, with unlocked framerate, but the game doesn´t perform well with certain PC configurations.
