For all the complaints you can level at the game--serious though they might be--the fact remains that the combat controls are well designed, and kicking ass in this game is incredibly entertaining.- Happy Puppy

It's just a matter of personal preference, but I'll take Alex Trebek over the You Don't Know Jack pinhead any day. At least the free bag of microwave popcorn that comes with the game was good.- Happy Puppy

The bugs are inexcusable, but when it comes to baseball, there just isn't any other game that comes remotely close to being this deep and endlessly replayable.- Happy Puppy

What? That's it?...The above text is not a direct quote from my last date, but rather my initial reaction to finishing this fun, but brief, expansion pack.- Happy Puppy

Going about 600 scale miles per hour it is nearly impossible to discern what's going on with your gauges, not to mention the fact that it's really tough to know when you're about to destroy yourself...Only the most jaded of Wipeout players will feel cheated by purchasing this game and even they'll secretly have fun.- Happy Puppy

If you're a big Star Trek fan, you'll enjoy this game immensely. If you're not, you'll still enjoy this game, but some of the more subtle nuances will be lost on you.- Happy Puppy

Perhaps the freakiest, most outright offensive title since "Panty Raider," this no-brain child of development house Xilam proudly touts its own immaturity, Fred Durst-style. Technically, that's why you'll have such a blast playing the sucker despite a few glaring flaws.- Happy Puppy

Such a pleasure for longtime fans. The series keeps getting better, rather than rotting like the game's antagonists and citizens of Raccoon City...What makes Nemesis better than the previous installments is the improved interface.- Happy Puppy

I actually think GigaWing 2 is a great game in many ways, but it is so short it makes even the super-low $20 price tag look steep.- Happy Puppy

Some console role-players might just find this style of deep preparation and chess-like battle sequences too sluggish. Strategists who have been truly bored by trying to play "Panzer General" or even "X-Com" on a TV screen, however, will appreciate how much lush graphics, soundtrack, and effects can goose up a wargaming system.- Happy Puppy

"Heavy Metal" magazine is known, well known in fact, for way-over-the-top action, violence, and gore... There is none of that here.- Happy Puppy

The combination of the beautiful visuals, awesome sound effects, simple control, and hysterical power-ups really makes Looney Tunes Racing an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, the whole thing is noticeably short-lived.- Happy Puppy

Even more tragic is the fact that there is no way for you to turn the tables and play as the Arachnids. I don't know about you, but I wanted to be the first kid on my block to suck a human brain out of a skull with a three-foot long proboscis.- Happy Puppy

I'd only give NFL Quarterback Club 2001 a look if John Madden's voice drives you into homicidal fits of rage.- Happy Puppy

If you liked the first one and are bored its levels, this game is perfect for you. If you never got a chance to play the first one and want a solid trick-based game for the PSX this, too, is a great choice.- Happy Puppy

Staggering amount of customization, a virtual fleet of licensed vehicles, and an effective cross-platform online experience that gives a whole new meaning to the words "replay value" for a console game.- Happy Puppy

Although a brief new Age (Rime) with additional puzzles and subtle foreshadowing of the Riven sequel has been added as an ending bonus, it's not really enough of an incentive to play MYST over again.- Happy Puppy

If you're looking for your first PSX golf title, this is the game for you. But if you're a veteran PGA Tour player, the 2001 edition of the series may not be worth the upgrade.- Happy Puppy

Amusing and might be fun for a couple of days, but there's not much here to hold your interest. If, on the other hand, you're an adult and a big fan of "Quake" or "UT," and you have a young sibling, relative, or child that you'd like to play games with (minus the graphic violence and gore in most games), this is a great game to try out.- Happy Puppy

It's got scary atmosphere, decent graphics, excellent sound, great dinosaur enemies, ominous locales, and plenty to do. If you've already played through the PlayStation version, there's little reason to run out to get the Dreamcast rendition.- Happy Puppy
