Nioh 2, despite being quite derivative, full of repetitive missions, and lacking true challenges later in the game, remains a riveting experience. This prequel looks like a mirrored image of the first game, but with some pretty ingenious level design, exciting enemies, and hugely satisfying combat and character creation systems, this game really hits home.

If you’re looking for a captivating 3D platformer, Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake is the perfect choice. It's a well-priced game with lots of content that makes you want to save Bikini Bottom over and over again.

World of Tanks appears pretty late on the PS4 but does it with style. Playing without paid subscription eventually becomes tiresome but there's a big advantage: you don't need to pay for the PS Plus service. Owners of Sony's console have finally received a free, well made, pretty and engrossing war game.

The magic is back in the world of Euro Truck Simulator 2. Vive la France! has some visual flaws and a mediocre traffic system but is definitely worth its price tag. We get many new locations, thousands of kilometers of roads, new suppliers, new merchandise and some really pretty French countryside views. Apparently ETS2 is going to live a very long and successful life.

Crashlands won't take over the PC market but it fits perfectly in the mobile world. The game provides lots of fun, has a deep gameplay, interesting combat mechanics and a storyline full of funny moments. It's a solid candidate to the title of "mobile game of the year". Well done!

Thinking about DLC's would be less annoying if all add-ons had the quality of Old World Blues. It's a well-produced original story filled with humor and excellent dialogue. It's worth its price and your time. Fans of New Vegas won't be disappointed because this DLC keeps the best parts of the original game and serves them in a great way. If the developers have something like that in store for us, I'm in!

Darksiders II is a great follow-up aimed mainly at the fans of the first game. Fortunately it can easily appeal to players unfamiliar with War's adventures, players simply looking for a good slasher. The game offers lots of fun, making the player not only show off his/her skills in fighting and jumping, but in logical thinking as well. The game's quality suffers a tiny bit because of its graphics and lack of a really "big" ending. But remember - these small flaws are not enough to discourage anyone. Darksiders II is a great investment that will keep you glued to the screen for a long time.

What is Samorost 3? It's more of an exploration game full of child-like wonder than a classic point'n'click adventure. It's a unique audiovisual experience, a pretty little indie gem that has more in common with real art than many modern art installations in various museums.

The new Prey isn't the old Prey. It's something completely new aimed at fans of "atmospherical exploration" in the vein of BioShock and System Shock. It's not perfect - its biggest strengths and weakness are the things this game borrows from other titles. Still, Arcane Studios has created an ambitious, difficult, engrossing game full of choices. A really great game.

Despite minor technical issues and sometimes underwhelming graphics, I had lots of fun. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a trip down the memory lane; to the times when I played the best Star Wars games for the very first time. Respawn Entertainment can easily put their game on the same shelf as Jedi Outcast. The Force is strong with this one.

This is the Police is a living proof that a fairly simple concept of managing a police station can be presented in a very interesting manner, with a well written story and lots of difficult choices to make. Studio Weappy has created one of the most interesting indie games of the year. A game that surprises the player with constantly changing conditions.

Lost Ark is a good game that gets better over time. There should be enough content for everyone, but it all comes down to how Amazon will manage this game in the future. I'm sure that Lost Ark will be popular, and its very accessible gameplay model should attract new players to join the fight.

Horizon: Zero Dawn marks Guerilla Games' return to form and is a showcase for what PS4 can do. Of course, it's far from perfect but thanks to diverse landscapes, excellent graphics and wildly satisfying combat mechanics Horizon looks really impressive. Just don't let the boring first two hours discourage you.

The remake of Final Fantasy VII isn't perfect. It has some highly redundant and simply boring side activities that derail the narrative at times, and the visuals are very uneven. But all of these are minor hitches. FFVII Remake is so much more than a mere nostalgia act. It's probably the most daring game Square Enix has created in years - one that generates great emotions and tons of fun.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is a small revolution that this famous series needed for a long time. I recommend this game to all Switch owners - not just Pokémon fans - because it really is entertaining. It doesn't look great, but it will keep you glued to the screen.

Elite: Dangerous deserves the highest praise for its potential. But you still have to look at a real product available today, and that's not as stellar. After a few months many of the problems will be forgotten, but right now Elite: Dangerous is a very young, a bit prematurely issued game full of imperfect features. And at the same time it shines and pulls you in with a unique type of experience.

If you’re still asking yourself: should I play Eriksholm, hear me out – it is definitely worth it. Even if stealth games are not your cup of tea, the cut-scenes alone (all the way to a very satisfying finale) are worth the price of admission. And we will definitely hear more about the talented crew at River End Games.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will be a nostalgic trip to the past for some, and a visit to an interactive museum for others. Either way it’s worth to look past some archaic solutions, respect the developers’ approach and reach the ending of one best games ever.

Torchlight II is a meaty chunk of a great hack'n'slash that appeals to all gamers disappointed with new mechanics introduced in Diablo III. The developers have added some new, interesting ideas and the game's future looks bright. Of course, there are some minor flaws, but they won't prevent you from having lots of fun. I personally think that Diablo III is an overall better production, but the most important thing in any game is to enjoy playing it, and both of them provide that.

I had a blast playing Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2. I almost forgot how good these games are, and they look better than ever on Switch 2, so I had even more fun. If you’ve never played the original games, you definitely should give it a chance – they don't make them like that anymore.

Highly anticipated The Last Guardian is finally here and its technical condition is so poor that I will not be surprised if someone decides to ask for a refund. Still, after a dozen hours I'm certain that my time spent with Trico was truly moving and really unique. There were moments of true agony (in terms of smoothness of gameplay and other technical aspects) but I'm willing to pay such a price for a beautiful story and an experience unlike any other.

FIFA Street proves that some solutions and ideas never get old - fast street football, great competitiveness and fighting to the last second work perfectly. If you expected some sort of a revolution with the new Trackmania, the first few minutes will prove you wrong. Canyon is a continuation of Nadeo's consistent way but with a new graphics engine and an addition of the ManiaPlanet system. Speed freaks will spend hundreds of hours with this game, perfecting their skills and advancing in the world rankings. It's a very good, sometimes perfect, arcade game, accesible for casual and hardcore gamers alike.

Spintires is a very good game. It's hard to imagine a better truck driving model - game engine paired with Havok covers up any issues the game might have (and it has some minor ones). Spintires is a game with an original theme and a great example of a simple, but extremely playable product. Great job.
