Two Point Hospital is a triumphant return to the fun and frantic style of Nineties management sims, with the adorable visuals to match.- God is a Geek

If you skipped God Wars on PS4 or PS Vita, this is definitely the version to get. It looks and plays well in both docked and handheld settings.- God is a Geek

2064: Read Only Memories INTEGRAL is the best version of a great adventure game. Outside of the lack of touchscreen support, this is basically everything I wanted in a port of 2064 for the Switch. If you’ve never played this before, this is the version to get.- God is a Geek

The Switch port is pretty barebones with no touchscreen functionality or good use of HD Rumble. In terms of visuals and performance, it is excellent but no additions in any form are disappointing. I’m glad all three of the games I was recommended are now playable on the Switch and XSEED and Marvelous Europe have done a lovely job bringing an indie that is perfect for Switch to the platform. I hope it does well enough to get a physical release in the future. This is on the same level as Sonic Mania Plus for me so if you enjoyed that, get on this as soon as you can.- God is a Geek

Victor Vran remains a wonderfully atmospheric dungeon crawler filled with things to love, from Victor himself to the disembodied voice that provides new intel, hints, tips and sarcasm, including a large number of anachronistic easter eggs. The Switch version may not add anything, but what’s here is still a fantastic package and a very welcome addition to the Switch’s library.- God is a Geek

Everything I hoped it would be and more. Marvel's Spider-Man provides us lots to do, a great story, and some of the best visuals available on the PS4.- God is a Geek

Square Enix not only stuck to its roots with this game in Japan by creating a big budget traditional JRPG for home consoles, but also went above and beyond with the additions and enhancements for the English release of the game.- God is a Geek

There’s so much to like about Rebellion’s squad shooter that most of its negative points cease to matter very much. It’s not perfect by any stretch, but it’s a confident romp by a developer that knows its audience.- God is a Geek

While Death’s Gambit does borrow from some classics, it struggles to deliver the memorable and balanced experience of any of its inspiration. It does, however, deliver a fun and interesting Roguelite adventure.- God is a Geek

Phantom Doctrine is a strange one, all told. On the one hand it’s so like Firaxis’ modern classic that it’s almost laughable, but then it throws its own blend of ideas and innovations into the mix that do just enough to produce a brand new flavour. One thing I didn’t experience with Creative Forge’s game was boredom. I enjoyed the idling moments between missions when I felt like the director of a secret team of spies almost as much as I enjoyed directing the spies on the ground, and the overall experience is one I’d recommend to any fan of turn-based tactics or cold war skullduggery.- God is a Geek

If you can take the difficulty on the chin, you'll experience a broad range of top-notch puzzles, that are well-executed and overlaid with a cheeky, playful tone. Rolling a ball around around a level shouldn't be this much fun.- God is a Geek

You’re obviously missing out on a smoother framerate but you gain portability and local wireless. I had no trouble online on either console so which version you buy depends on whether you value a higher framerate or portability. In its current state, the Switch port is very good and well worth it.- God is a Geek

It’s the same game as it was back then. Playing on the Switch allows you to play with it anywhere, especially if you’re midway through one of the frustrating boss fights. It doesn’t quite look as good as when it’s docked, but the game is still vibrant and lovely to look at. If you want something that reminds you what the 80s were like, and fancy a game that fully embraces the notion of retro, Crossing Souls is the embodiment of it.- God is a Geek

It’s unlikely to bring in many new fans as, despite its grace and beauty, it certainly doesn’t feel like a new game. The stubborn camera is a hangover of yesteryear, as are the occasionally staid enemy encounters. But those are mild complaints compared to Okami’s many positive elements.- God is a Geek

Dead Cells is one of the best rogue-vania games I’ve ever played. The visuals are to die for and it runs beautifully (docked and handheld), but the best facet is that the combat is ultra responsive.- God is a Geek
