Hacktag is a wonderful experience and a fine example of how asymmetry in gameplay design can create an interesting dynamic of teamwork. It’s a unique spin on co-op games that is worth you and your friends’ time.

Runner3 is reminiscent of the hard as nails games of old, and wants you to play the game over, but it will cause you to lose your temper.

Cinders is a fine experience to have at home or on the go. The developers have done everything I would have wanted in a port. If you’ve been waiting on checking this out or are just looking for a new visual novel on the Switch, give Cinders a go.

Astroneer is a lovely serene survival crafting game that can feel aimless at times, but has masses of potential to be something special.

NBA 2K20 runs well on the Switch, and if you’re not bothered by 30fps, you’ll find little wrong with 2K’s Switch port.

Outriders: Worldslayer refines the overall experience, adding a heap of new content and minor improvements that make it an essential expansion - just don't go in alone unless you're armed for bear.

Arcade Paradise not only looks cool, but the running of your business is fun and enjoyable, and the arcade games are wonderfully designed.

A startlingly realistic rendition of Kayaking that matches the reality of being in a small boat out at sea. If you know how to move, it’ll surprise you how well it reacts, and there are even rocks you can physically push off to get moving. With interesting locations, pretty scenery, and weather that can be turned up or down, this is both a good workout if you want it, and a nice serene place to relax.

Project Zero: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is a genuinely spooky game, but it's let down by some severe pacing issues.

Cavern of Dreams has a few issues, but if you're looking for an old school 3d platformer and like collecting things you'll probably love it.

The Mortuary Assistant: Definitive Edition is everything I want from a horror game. It makes you feel uncomfortable and never allows you to relax, all while giving you plenty to do and learn along the way.

Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition offers a pleasingly brisk and enjoyable format that makes it the unexpected party game hit of the Summer.

There's certainly enough new content here to keep fans interested. Shadowkeep's lunar surface is no Dreaming City, but it holds enough new surprises to make it worth checking out.

It's a lot of fun, and you're never stuck for something to do. It's also the perfect game to play with your friends and family, and the sheer amount of characters means there's someone for everyone.

If you're here for nostalgia's sake, more power to you, but if you're expecting a sweeping remaster of this beloved trilogy that brings it up to date in a meaningful way, you'll have to keep waiting.

A good start to Starcraft II’s DLC, Nova Covert Ops delivers a fun and tense opening chapter, but suffers from a lack of story content.

The most pressing issue is the lack of community, with most servers empty at the time of this review. But if the dev can keep the content coming and work out the kinks, this game could really take-off.

While it suffers from some interesting glitches, Dead Island 2 puts some much-needed fun and mayhem back into the zombie apocalypse sandbox.

The Sojourn blends interesting puzzles with a strong narrative. There are a couple of issues but they shouldn't ruin the overall enjoyment.

Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline offers a solid chunk of explosive enjoyment, with an excellent story that returns to where it all began.

Demon Gaze II improves on the original in a lot of ways and is another excellent dungeon RPG from Experience Inc. that is worth your time.

Very good at what it does, but what it does isn’t revolutionary. It bears some obvious similarities to certain mobile games, such as Angry Birds, but doesn’t come close to matching them on any level, and one could argue it might be more suited to that platform.
