Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark is a belter: occasionally frustrating and sometimes incredibly demanding, but always enjoyable and well-crafted throughout. An essential purchase for any Vita owner who likes a challenge, with the (now) standard added bonus of cloud saving across both Vita and PS3.

Circa Infinity is a great puzzle platformer that has me utterly addicted to it in a way I haven't felt since Super Hexagon.

High on Life is filled with some fun mechanics and great writing, and while it doesn't reinvent the genre, it makes it more enjoyable.

With multiple endings for both the base game and its DLC episode, Layers of Fear: Legacy is certainly one of the most affecting horror games of the last few years and it’s surprisingly at home on the Nintendo Switch. Just don’t play it in bed, or if you like to paint.

God Eater 2 Rage Burst is a fantastic entry in the hunting genre for fans who want deep combat and a good story to keep you invested along the way.

Challenging yet rewarding, this is a game that is at its best when the player is experimental with their strategies.

Overall this is fun, but the gameplay mechanics will ensure it isn’t for everyone. The solo aspect gets a little tiring and some design decisions like you having to bend down to collect loot instead of auto picking up things when walking over annoyed me.

The game excels in nearly all aspects of the genre and adds a few fresh ideas but, in the end, it may struggle to succeed due to the aversion some people have to a game of this type. But with its simple UI, logical puzzles, fantastic plot and beautiful setting, it’s an excellent place to start for those who have never dabbled in an adventure game.

A great new expansion to Hearthstone that makes the game more fun and adds interesting new mechanics.

The greatest triumph is in how the spacecraft gameplay and platforming sections feel similar in parts, while also retaining some individuality. It’s disappointing that a number of factors cause Velocity 2X to experience a little turbulence, because generally, it’s a great flight.

Senran Kagura Estival Versus is an upgrade from Shinovi Versus in almost every way, able to hold its own with its silly but memorable characters, expansive content and solid entertainment value.

A charming adventure in a unique Norwegian setting, Embracelet is a delightful coming of age story full of magic, mystery and friendship.

Destiny is a confident, solid, sometimes stunningly beautiful shooter with RPG mechanics that add longevity and depth, and the beginnings of what could be an incredible online universe. But it feels like the tip of the glacier, and I’m not sure it’s a good thing to be more excited about what a game might one day be, than what it is actually is.

More of an expansion than a brand new entry in the series.

While definitely not for everyone, Dustforce is an ambitious and charming game that shows touches of brillance as frequently as it punishes and annoys.

Onrush takes the team-based multiplayer of Overwatch and combines it with a blend of Motorstorm and Burnout, creating one of the most unique and fun arcade driving games of this generation.

The Flame in the Flood is a quiet apocalypse in which it’s Mother Nature you have to fight, not aliens or zombies. The goal is to drift down a river in a flooded world to reach salvation at the end. Surviving is no walk in the park, but with Chuck Ragan’s brilliant soundtrack to soothe you, it’s sure worth a try.

A thoughtful, deep and rewarding RPG, with some great puzzles and a story that may not be groundbreaking, but sure is fun.

Vermintide is an under-appreciated gem with loads of replayability and heaps of atmosphere.

Chants of Sennaar is one of the most unique and interesting puzzle games I've ever played, and it routinely makes you feel like a genius.

Despite one or two cruel difficulty spikes, Gravel is one of the better examples of off-road racing in a while. Its mix of semi-realism and over-the-top arcade style makes for some exciting races, while its progression system keeps it accessible to almost anyone.

Total War: Pharaoh lets you play your way, and throws a lot at you to deal with. Fans will lap it up once they get to grips with its new mechanics.

Mario Golf World Tour offers a methodical 3DS sports title that fills a niche on the console more than adequately, and it would have been a compelling and satisfying golf game regardless of whether it built courses in the Mushroom Kingdom or not. One of the best plates of chips I’ve had in a while, regardless of the ketchup.

Collar x Malice is one of the best otome visual novels I’ve played with lots of things to shake up the formula for the better but some typos in the text sour the experience.

It’s been great revisiting two wonderful games, but the framerate drops and lighting changes take away much of the charm of playing them.

Code: Realize - Future Blessings is the perfect companion to Guardian of Rebirth that is a must play for fans of the original.
