Unfortunately, there’s a real sense of deja vu this time around, and the next Picross game really needs to try something new to breathe life into the series.- God is a Geek

It’s full of blood, violence, puzzles, humour, all set in such a beautifully designed world. Definitely one of the most fun platformers of recent years.- God is a Geek

MXGP lacks a bit of polish, then, but spend a few races working out the difficultly that suits you before you dive into the career and it really is a decent racer, even if it’s not a massive leap from the PS3 and 360 versions.- God is a Geek

Battlezone is a tough, fun and addictive tank warfare game in its own right that throws down a gauntlet to teams of players and challenges them to really work together to succeed.- God is a Geek

VED isn't a bad game, it's just not a very good one, either, and never quite manages to find its stride.- God is a Geek

At times Full Mojo Rampage gets its wires a little crossed, and some of the roguelike elements can feel a little forced when they’re not really necessary, but it’s still a fun little blaster with a wonderful atmosphere and stacks of personality. It might be trying to elbow its way into a very crowded genre, but it has just enough pluck to earn its place.- God is a Geek

Maize is an amusing title, it's puzzles don't really require any critical thinking and it is overly linear but it kind of works as a curio with some genuinely funny jokes dotted throughout.- God is a Geek

At its core, Mario Party 10 is just another Mario Party game, but it is also the best one. Smash Brothers and Mario Kart are superior “gamers’ games”, but for partying with friends or family members who only play casually, you can’t get much better than this.- God is a Geek

Tin Hearts tells a moving story through a wonderful narrative, smart puzzles, and one of the most beautiful scores written for a video game.- God is a Geek

Developers who port multiple games to the Switch in a single package should add something to incentivize double dips and YummyYummyTummy has done just that. Even if you played these games on either system before, this is worth looking into if you enjoyed your time with Fallen Legion.- God is a Geek

A perfectly serviceable racer with great looks, plenty of customisation options, and passable driving, but it’s a real shame that latest reboot of this franchise had the hallmarks of the greats in the series’ past and could have been truly special.- God is a Geek

A marked improvement on the 2016 console release, it continues to be a marvelous simulation game with a compelling gameplay loop, but its systems often feel impenetrable for any but the most persistent players.- God is a Geek

Overall, this still needs a lot of work before I can recommend it. While the visual novel like sections and the UI are crisp on the Switch, the actual gameplay runs and looks bad. The only reason you should consider getting this game on Switch is if you absolutely need portability over everything else.- God is a Geek

99 Levels to Hell is a fine, if slightly trashy Spelunky-alike. If Spelunky is Indiana Jones, then 99 Levels to Hell is its Grindhouse equivalent, focusing more on fast, expendable entertainment than its more thoughtful cousin.- God is a Geek

A fun multiplayer brawler hampered by some lag issues and a lack of game types. With an update or two to iron out the kinks, this utterly charming game could go from good to great.- God is a Geek

While Home Sweet Home doesn't bring anything new to the table for first person horror puzzlers, it does stand out with the inclusion of Thai horror folklore which is truly terrifying. It's let down with a couple of bugs but it's not a bad way to spend a few hours.- God is a Geek

When taking in the world around you, NaissanceE is a thing of beauty. The scenery is so bare bones that it walks a fine line between being soothing and unnerving in one fell swoop. It starts with such a care and precision, but quickly becomes less memorable once you are asked to be more precise in your own movements.- God is a Geek
