The game is another valuable step for the franchise into the right direction, whereas one thing is crystal clear: Contrary to last year's 'Generations' this entry is less accessible for newbies, fortunately providing this "What happened so far..." section. Thanks to its stunningly presented Story mode Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is not just a simple beat 'em up, in my opinion, it's the best Naruto game currently on the market and a must-have for every Naruto fan out there.

Lara Croft's comeback is simply stunning. The cinematic gameplay, its atmosphere and the "LOST resembling" environments are great, while the multiplayer is a nice-to-have goodie. The game is let down just a little by its German localization and Lara's redundant squad members. Nevertheless, in my opinion it's the best game in 2013 so far.

The huge environment and the vast array of possibilities offer great gameplay-depth. The nanosuit combined with the bow is a unique feature, but on the other hand the campaign is a bit too short.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance could have been something big like a successful spin-off, but from my point of view Platinum Games featured too much action and to little gameplay depth in the game. The difficulty level is high and the game is too short. All in all it’s a nice game for core genre fans, but no more.

Unfortunately the camera is still poor, however Team Ninja solved some of the problems of Ninja Gaiden 3 (PS3/Xbox360). The touchscreen is not really integrated, but the game is challenging with fast action fights and a lot of virtual blood. If you like that, then Ninja Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is your game.

Serious Sam Double D XXL really is a 2D Serious Sam. The stackable weapons are nice; however, the gameplay and the jokes are a little bit too moronic. The multiplayer is ok, for some hours, but after playing a while, the game gets boring.

I‘m torn. The objective journalist says: "It’s an eye-/eargasm and thanks to its awesome weapon-crafting it's damn fun. The Fanboy within rants: "This is no Dead Space".

Despite the crude graphics Spy Hunter is somehow addictive and really entertaining. But after all the price is a deal breaker and therefore this game is not so much a bestseller as a collector's item.

A game with some good ideas. Unfortunately, the game does not live up to its potential. An overall a feeling of crudeness remains and the repetitive gameplay can't captivate.

The only thing the HD rejuvenation really imbued is the graphic design and that's simply not enough to recommend Nights into Dreams to anyone but true retro lovers.

A confusing storyline, a borderline stupid AI and the monotonous gameplay are the main down sides to a mediocre adaption of the successful TV series.

It's a pity where the Book of Memories is taking the Silent Hill series: Only quantity, no quality; a lack of gameplay and story; a shift in genres which should have been done with much more caution and love. Silent Hill fans, don't touch this.

This arcade title has much potential, but it's only grounded in the multiplayer modes which are fun. On the single-player side it lacks variety and a background story.

The new Most Wanted is no real "Most Wanted": It's an adventurous trip into the wide area of open world games without any string of story. For a quick drive the game is fun, but for a longer stay in Fairhaven it's missing a story and some guidance (apart from ongoing online matchmaking arenas).

Finally! Sine Mora has arrived on the PSN. It looks and feels completely like the Xbox 360 version, except the new game mode, that has been implanted. The PS Vita offers the touchscreen as a controller, which is by far not as funny as it sounds. Sine Mora is the last Must Have of the year 2012.

It's damn fun to collect bolts, shoot some enemies and improve the base-defense, but only in the multiplayer mode. Lacking gameplay-depth makes the single-player not really entertaining. In my point of view the game is ok, but it's not a true Ratchet & Clank game. It seems that Sony took the name of a well-known franchise and made a traditional base-defense-game instead of a new game in the world of Ratchet & Clank.
