Railroads, black powder weapons, no more food shortages, but more turns: much is new in Fall of the Samurai. It takes a close look at the fall of the noble, traditional warrior caste, allowing players to change history. More extensive naval battles make things more exciting and the many new options let the game shine anew.- GamingXP

We all waited for years and now Pit is finally back. The long wait was worth it, because the comeback is pretty awesome. The game is bigger then most console games and offers AR card support, multiplayer modes, combinable weapons, epic boss fights and many more. It's not just a game, it's the rebirth of the legend.- GamingXP

The developers stayed true to 100% Mech customization, with over 500 parts that seem to offer infinite possibilities. Unfortunately, the singleplayer experience suffers from most work clearly having gone into the multiplayer aspects. With those, however, Armored Core V offers an extensive Mech MMO.- GamingXP

Mass Effect 3 is a milestone in the history of video games. It is an absolutely fantastic end to an amazing SciFi saga and tells an absolutely enthralling story. The characters are authentic and the synchronization is great. The gameplay stayed mostly the same, though there are a few improvements in Shepard's sprinting and the cover system. The complexity of the Mass Effect universe and the variety of scenes in the game are simply stunning. This is a must-buy for everyone who loves video games.- GamingXP

Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture managed to port the old school genre of side-scrolling shooters into the modern age of videogames. Sine Mora is definitely worth downloading, not just for genre fans, but also gamers new to it.- GamingXP

If you love the films Cars, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Toy Story and Up!, you'll find this a nice addition and quite decent collection of mini games. But as a game, albeit quite solid, it's just no Disneyland Adventures, in scope or presentation.- GamingXP

The Binding of Isaac looks like an old school game like the original Zeldas, but with a dark scenario and dark humor. It has the typical difficulty of a McMillen game, which is not found anywhere else these days. This game will motivate you to try and try again in such a simple way – just brilliant. If you like the style and the old school gameplay of The Binding of Isaac, you'll have a lot of fun with it.- GamingXP

Terraria is one of the best sandbox games. Terraria has some Minecraft spirit, however the focus of the game is on fighting and crafting, so it involves more action. The best way to enjoy Terraria is to play it with a couple of friends on your own server.- GamingXP

It's not Yakuza anymore – it's a new House of the Dead in a Yakuza environment. Poor mechanics, weird story and repetitive gameplay kill the atmosphere and leave a mediocre third-person zombie shooter.- GamingXP

If you're looking for an alternative to the classic FIFA big field play and enjoy acrobatic tricks, FIFA Street is a good choice. Likely to really shine not as a replacement for FIFA 12, but as a fun alternative.- GamingXP

FIFA Street is a new soccer experience. It's easy to learn but hard to master. You can choose between predefined and self-made play modes and challenge your friends local and online. It's not like the typical FIFA, but it's a lot of fun, too.- GamingXP

Sega's Binary Domain is a real surprise. The game is entertaining and the developers tried something new. The consequence system and the speech controls work, but there is still some potenial to improve them. I'm missing a coop mode, but the full package with online multiplayer, giant bosses and highspeed levels entertains.- GamingXP

It's a step in the right direction, but the sequel to X-Blades still is not up to date. The graphics fall between Wii and PS3 standard (closer to Wii), the sounds are annoying and the gameplay still isn't satisfying. There is an online multiplayer and the time feature is a big advantage. Still, considering the low price, it could be interesting for hardcore hack'n'slay fans out of things to do (in).- GamingXP

This is an amazing shooter with a great and enthralling story and good graphics. Though the voice controls are problematic at times, they are fun and a refreshing alternative to the average TPS. The only big issue is the mediocre multiplayer. The great mixture of the post-apocalyptic Tokio and the futuristic city above combined with the synthetic enemies guarantee an absorbing atmosphere. Great game!- GamingXP

At first glance, Birds of Steel looks like a good aerial combat game for anyone with aviator ambitions. Looking more closely, it's really a game for simuloation fans. Despite simplified controls, anyone looking for fast-paced action is better off with a more arcade flight game. This title also has shortcomings in presentation, which likely are easier to overlook for simulation fans.- GamingXP

I'm impressed: this balance between accessibilty for beginners and challenge for pros is something other fighting games should strive to copy. Street Fighter X Tekken is in a league of its own, in part thanks to the Gem system. The poor character individualization options and soundtrack are the only notable flaws. A fighting game that anyone – and that's what's special: really anyone – can take a swing at.- GamingXP

Everyone that likes action and spectacular tricks will like SSX. The deadly descents are innovative and rich in variety. However, if you only play offline, you will miss out considerably. The multiplayer part is nice to play and offers some innovative, new ideas. One big drawback disadvantage, which I can't understand, is that there is no local splitscreen mode. All in all, SSX is a good fun sports game.- GamingXP
