Even though Battle Worlds: Kronos is certainly lacking in presentation, its turn-based gameplay easily stands the test of time. Not really easy to understand and difficult to master it is only a game for experienced players and those who are willing to learn through failure.

For fans of the film, the game is the perfect match. Folks that like action-shooters may be disappointed, because Wanted: Weapon of Fate is too linear and offers too little alternation.

I'm not disappointed. The 3DS version of Thor: God of Thunder is pretty entertaining. The graphics and sound effects are nice, the gameplay offers some variety and the gigantic bosses are hard to beat. Fans of hack'n'slay games won't err in buying Thor: God of Thunder for the 3DS.

Vacation Quest: The Hawaiian Islands is no revolutionary hidden object game, but it offers everything you would expect like mini games for variety and modes for beginners and pros. Recommended for genre fans.

Move gamers may welcome a solid shooter title, while the Dualshock controller is clearly more suited for the story mode. Best played with a Lightgun in Arcade mode!

An adventure shocking like a Stephen King Blockbuster. But it never gets too obvious, the horror elements are all psychological. Great atmosphere, and aside from the slow pace of the game, it works out quite well.

Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge is a solid sports game, albeit lacking a little in commentary and official licenses. It shines through a well done presentation and a good introduction to the sport for rugby newbies.

The PS3 version of Sniper: Ghost Warrior has received some improvements which are pretty useful. You get some extra content, better opponent AI and more, but there are still some bugs, concerning the graphics, a terribly told story and some weaknesses concerning the gameplay (e.g. reloading time or disappearing enemies after reaching checkpoints).

It's the good old Bejeweled 3 as box version for the NDS. There is nothing special and so the price is a bit too high from my point of view, because the PS3, PC and X360 versions are cheaper and include Zuma and Peggle as bonusgames.

Cities in Motion is a new simulation that allows you to build the local traffic for the uprising cities Vienna, Berlin, Amsterdam and Helsinki. Unfortunately, the game consists of nothing more than planning and constructing routes.

Even though there are no new features besides multiplayer, the amount of content will make Spelunker HD attractive for gamers, especially for Retro fans. Fair warning: the game is extremely difficult and moments of frustration are guaranteed.

Sniper Elite is a really cool Third Person action game on the Nintendo Wii. The game convinces with an authentic setting, cool graphics and sound effects and a nice 2-player-co-op mode. Unfortunately, the bad controls diminish the fun.

Blue Dragon: Awakened Shadow is a pretty cool action RPG with a long storyline (about 25 hours), challenging boss fights, multiplayer modes, a nice atmosphere and a self-made character.

The game stands for lots of action, a story besides the One Ring and cooperative gameplay at its best. With two friends by your side, this game shows what it's really worth.

F1 Race Stars is fun, looks pretty and has the F1-license, but the magic vanishes very quickly because there are not enough tracks and not enough variety. It's a solid fun-arcade-racer with the well-known F1-stars but nothing more.

Simple gameplay, incredible game. A nice storyline embedded in a school, featuring futuristic units – if you're into tactics and strategy, don't miss this one. Though, you don't have to save the world in Future Wars.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance could have been something big like a successful spin-off, but from my point of view Platinum Games featured too much action and to little gameplay depth in the game. The difficulty level is high and the game is too short. All in all it’s a nice game for core genre fans, but no more.

LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean is a typical LEGO title without new features and surprises. But the gameplay is not boring and little flaws can be forgiven. Fans and newbies will still have fun.
