You need to be aware that this is not the high-speed game like Virtual-On, or Armored Core tends to be, but more of a giant robot chess match. If you are up for that sort of war, we’ll keep a spot open for you on the GT Goonsquad.

If you are looking for something that you can play leisurely, then you might want to take a look at it. If you want something with a bit more depth, you would be better off looking elsewhere.

Disney may have a massive hit in the theaters but they have one heck of a dud for the PS2. This almost recalls the fabled "ET" in terms of rushing something, ANYTHING, out the door to cash-in on a popular movie only with better voice work.

Unfortunately, Over G Fighters doesn’t have the sense of speed, graphics, action, or mission structure to make you feel like you are flying the unfriendly skies.

It’s surprising that none of the developers noticed the glaring issues in the game. This is really too bad as the multiplayer is actually a lot of fun and a bright spot in this otherwise piece of garbage.

WTS has the chance to appeal to everyone and, for a handheld like the PSP, we could use more games like it.

The fighting game is fairly solid with several elements that, while not completely unique to the fighting genre, mix together for a unique experience. It takes the source material and does it justice.

A "Diablo" clone done right! With excellent balance, cooperative multiplayer, addictive loot gathering, and a great graphical presentation, it is easy to overlook the few flaws within the game.

It made me interested in tracking down the movie to play, and gave me a good number of hours playing an enjoyable RPG.

A chance to go out and have a taste of what it's really like in the world of NFL coaches today. It's a job, and a game that only a chosen few will really be able to embrace and get the most out of it.

The mixture of RTS and action game doesn't really mesh well, the game runs really poorly, and the game includes Starforce. Unless you've got a really high end machine and want to play something somewhat different, stay far, far away from this title.

Sometimes nostalgia can disappoint because of how childhood can blur how bad something really was. Gradius doesn’t disappoint.

Games are for relaxation and fun – copy protection that impedes that and causes the user to spend time repairing their OS instead of enjoying their purchased product run counter to that.

The story of the Half-Life universe is propulsive in its own right and the sheer zeal Valve has for this world and the characters in it is a joy to experience. Partnering with a truly responsive AI also has to be seen to be believed.

While the AI has its issues as detailed above, it does a good job of helping players learn how to be better poker players as well as some of the basics on how to bluff someone.

A rehash of the previous game, so you won’t find anything new here, so you will want to consider that before purchasing the game.

One upside to it is that the game is roughly six to eight hours in length so if you have a weekend to kill then this one may be up your alley. It certainly looks pretty, sounds great, and the ragdoll physics are put to great use. It just would have been nice to play a challenging game instead of one where nothing is balanced out.

The difficulty and repetitive nature of the levels does eventually wear down on you.

It just never really sustained my interest after the first three to four hours, especially after running into Pyro and dying over and over.

Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends features the best balance I’ve seen in an RTS – ever.

Sin Episodes: Emergence feels and plays like theater food. It’s a quick rush once you chow down, but as soon as the sugar starts digesting you start noticing things you’ve seen before.

This is the kind of game that you can play with your kids and not be bored to death. It is light co-op arcade fun that delivers on its promise.

If you have a young child who really enjoyed the movie, they will probably enjoy the game. It's a neat way to try to introduce them to some stealth gameplay as well. Unfortunately, if you aren't young, you will easily find the game too boring and repetitive.

This is not a title to sit down and play five minutes worth before you run out for errands. But if you devote some time to learning about horses and the racing itself, Gallop Racer 2006 is surprisingly rewarding.

There have been a lot of games throughout the last two decades that have pulled off great run-and-gun gameplay. The old school title Alien Syndrome comes to mind, as does Crusader: No Remorse. If you are looking for an updated version of either of those two titles, you can’t go wrong with Shadowgrounds.

Unless you have the patience of a monk, you’ll be better off getting one of the previous games in the series and playing that.

Developer Crystal Dynamics has done a fantastic job with a very damaged property.
