While the gameplay is somewhat shallow, and the racing elements sometimes frustrating, there is plenty to say about getting a Transformers game with high production value and an all-star voice team. Activision and Traveller’s Tales have brought the new movie to life with a decent beat-em-up title that doesn’t succumb to the movie tie-in curse.- GamingTrend

It’s true, the web-slinging is fun, and swinging between rooftops never gets old. However, the game is dragged down by mindless combat that grinds on and on and on.- GamingTrend

Unfortunately, no matter how “hip” the culture is for the background story, without a good game, it falls flat. Take a ride, and let this game die a quick death.- GamingTrend

Red Bow has a lot of potential to be great, but it’s simply not. There are a lot of strange technical issues and downright poor creative decisions that make up for a dismal experience. While the story is effectively the only thing holding this title together, it’s not nearly enough to warrant a recommendation.- GamingTrend

While some aspects of the game are worthwhile on higher difficulty settings, the hand holding on Casual and Medium is excessive.- GamingTrend

If you love South Park, this will be the best $30 you could spend to have another adventure with all your favorite characters. With a completely different game style than the most recent South Park games, Snow Day! gives you five chapters of the main story totaling 5-6 hours, side quests that can be done more than once on multiple difficulties, and plenty of cosmetics for you to unlock. Solo play gets a little difficult during the ending of the story, but with friends, it should be an enjoyable time for all.- GamingTrend

The length of the missions works well for a portable game, and having relatively short load times helps.- GamingTrend

It is nice that the game controls so easily so that parents don’t have to constantly be watching over their kids. Still, it’s a bit too short to really justify the purchase.- GamingTrend

Eternal Crusade shows a whole lot of promise as an exciting team-based multiplayer shooter. But ‘promise’ is less than what’s demanded when we’re talking about a game which is released, rather buggy, and not always as intuitive as an action-heavy game should be. At $49.99, it’s hard to justify the investment until the price drops or the game is patched up respectably, but the potential and the fun it offers is real all the same.- GamingTrend

The additional content is more than worth it to those who loved it, but for those lukewarm to the game, I’d wait a bit and see whether the next episode is compelling and then consider looking at getting this episode in the $30 four-episode season pass instead.- GamingTrend

It’s surprising that none of the developers noticed the glaring issues in the game. This is really too bad as the multiplayer is actually a lot of fun and a bright spot in this otherwise piece of garbage.- GamingTrend

Overall, Crime Boss: Rockay City offers so many conceptually interesting gameplay mechanics that could work well together, but either doesn't give the player enough opportunities to use them, or fails to tie them into other aspects of the game. There is some minor depth to the game, but it's overshadowed by what could have been. On top of that, too many elements feel like they’re out of the players hands, and lead to cheap deaths. If you simply need to play Crime Boss: Rockay City, then you’ll be pleased to hear that it’s only $40, and even less if you wait for a sale.- GamingTrend

Within 30 minutes I knew that we were being forced more licensed junk. Hopefully Ford will take a lot more care of their property and make sure that only quality titles represent their cars from here on out.- GamingTrend

Uneven in tone and execution, Mighty No 9 is equal parts fun and frustration. Inafune won’t reignite the fire of his famed franchise with this initial effort. We can only hope that subsequent attempts to reboot the blue bomber turn out better.- GamingTrend

One upside to it is that the game is roughly six to eight hours in length so if you have a weekend to kill then this one may be up your alley. It certainly looks pretty, sounds great, and the ragdoll physics are put to great use. It just would have been nice to play a challenging game instead of one where nothing is balanced out.- GamingTrend

Star Horizon is a port of an on-rails space shooter mobile game that unfortunately misses the mark. The gameplay is simple enough to get into and not too difficult, but it's fairly bland at the same time. It's alright for a few hours of gaming, but at the time of writing, a game-breaking glitch prevents you from progressing past mission seven.- GamingTrend

Never Breakup is an attempt at a co-op game without the excitement most party games bring. The rope doesn’t add much to the experience, it’s slow paced at the best of times, and it lacks polish. If you're absolutely starved for a tethered-together title, you may enjoy it briefly, but this isn't a party game I'd recommend.- GamingTrend

If you're a fan of the Red Faction series, there isn't anything in Battlegrounds that will satisfy your craving for more Red Faction. If you're looking for a simple multiplayer game that you can play with your friends locally or online to kill a few hours, Battlegrounds may very well be worth the price of admission.- GamingTrend

The first simulation title for the Switch, New Frontier Days: Founding Pioneers is a mixed effort with a barnyard full of blusters. It’s a decently priced romp at $9.99, but its lack of customization and odd control scheme may turn off those who want a quality farming game.- GamingTrend

Shing! misses the mark of great beat 'em up by a long shot; which could have been avoided with more attention to detail. If Mass Creation put in the effort, it could have been one of the best beat 'em ups this generation. But we’re stuck with something too dull to take a bigger slice of that audience.- GamingTrend

Syberia was a series built around amazing puzzles and unique storytelling. Syberia 3 was an opportunity to bring all of that to a new generation. Unfortunately, it has remained mired in the pixel-hunting past, riddled with bugs, obtuse controls, and an uninspired storyline coupled with head-scratching voice work. I wanted to enjoy Syberia 3, but too many issues may leave this series stuck in the frozen snow.- GamingTrend

Disney may have a massive hit in the theaters but they have one heck of a dud for the PS2. This almost recalls the fabled "ET" in terms of rushing something, ANYTHING, out the door to cash-in on a popular movie only with better voice work.- GamingTrend

Overall, I think that Waking is brilliantly well-thought out. It’s satisfying at times, beautiful at times, emotional at times, and it quickly roped me in to feeling passionately eager to resolve my mental problems and discover my fate. It is inevitably, somewhat repetitive because it gives you many, many hours of gameplay, but just doesn’t quite have the enemy diversity, or unique map specificity to keep up with that. As a player, I felt listened to by the game, and I repaid it with my attention and effort, and it DID pay off in the end. I recommend Waking to any player, of any skill-level, looking for a unique, emotional, and personal experience.- GamingTrend
