All things considered, Entrenchment is more of a “completion” of the original Sins of a Solar Empire rather than an expansion.

The bottom line is that I feel like I should be liking it a lot more than I am. I keep finding myself alternating between frustrated and bored - a combination I never thought I'd see from a Puzzle Quest game.

Street Fighter IV is proof that you can take classic gameplay and update it for today’s game consoles and it will be hit.

In the meantime, go out and get Dragon Quest V, and enjoy one of the best "lost" RPGs of the Super Nintendo generation.

Flower is a mesmerizing game that truly feels unique, and showcases how Six-Axis control can bring the gamer closer to the experience.

FEAR2 is a game that is evolutionary and not revolutionary but also seems to take a step back in many departments. The ending leaves the player hanging, Alma doesn't really make as many appearances as in the first game, the dumbed down AI, and the lack of a multiplayer community might spell death for the game before it even starts to take off.

Simply put, if you own a PSP and do not buy this game, shame on you. You’ll be missing one of the best games of the year.

I hope that this isn't the last Deadly Creatures game we see. The concept is really great, and a lot of times, this game feels like it's laying the groundwork for a pretty cool franchise.

The game is repetitive. If you can get through that, then you might be able to fight your way throughout the entire game.

The graphics are average for the Wii, the sound is out of place, the sword fighting is Red Steel levels of bad and the fact that the bad guys will let their guard down when their buddies are lying dead at their feet all add up to a disappointing game. Hopefully Ubisoft goes back to the drawing board before releasing Tenchu 5.

Fans of the Tower Defense genre will enjoy Savage Moon. However, players new to the genre will likely become frustrated with the uneven difficulty level and quit the game as soon as they come to one of the harder levels. For those new gamers I would recommend starting with Pixel Junk Monsters on the PSN.

Afro Samurai does so much so well, it’s a shame that the little things are what drag it down.

The great graphics and sound will grab your attention, and the diversity of the worlds and the ability to pick up and play will keep it.

Skate 2's more realistic feel will probably appeal more to actual skaters, and while some of the big tricks might be a bit harder to pull off, it's more satisfying when you get that trick pulled off.

The game itself is fun, even if the combat does seem to be a bit like random button pushing at times, the voice acting is very solid, the music is incredibly good, and the art is mostly good.

SO: SE will appeal to some RPG fans, but I’m certainly not one of them. I need at least a somewhat interesting story and/or characters to keep me engaged in a game, and these aspects were completely missing.

If you're looking for a cool, atmospheric shooter for your DS, I definitely recommend Moon.

If you like an environmental puzzle game with some combat mixed in and like a little of betrayal on top, Mirror's Edge is the game for you. If you are looking for a game that will keep you hooked for days on end, this game is definitely something you can skip over.

They've taken every aspect I could think of an improved it.

8-bit is Enough is another solid entry in the Strong Bad series.

Sadly, Prince of Persia: The Fallen King has far too many shortcomings to recommend it to anyone.

Destroy All Humans is dead and Path of the Furon put the final nail in the coffin. Rest in peace Crypto.

I felt myself compelled to play, but the control issues really got to me. Had there been no control issues, I would have been able to recommend this without any problem.

If you've played CT before and never "got it," or if you've avoided it for whatever reason, now's your chance to give it the shot it deserves. It will be well worth your time.

I think there’s a certain subset of gamers that will absolutely adore MS7, and a larger group of us that will find it fun, but ultimately somewhat unsatisfying.

It's a rare thing when a company wants to roll the dice with a valued property, and the results sometimes turn out great. In this case, not so much.
