If you're looking for a new co-op players-versus-AI-horde game, Dungeon Defenders is arguably the best option available right now. Great graphics, lovely music, tense gameplay – all with enough content to keep you coming back again and again, and avenues for both official and player-made content.- GamingTrend

Getting back on track, I really can't recommend Spider-Man Edge of Time on the DS to anyone. The gameplay is extremely basic, the story is neutered, the graphics are a dull mess, the map system is broken, and the game's level design can't hold a candle to the games it is trying to emulate.- GamingTrend

If you're the sort of person for whom playing games on the Wii usually involves more than one person sitting or standing in front of your TV, you should give Go Vacation a look.- GamingTrend

While it isn't necessarily aimed at people used to more recent RPGs, Persona 2: Innocent Sin is a prime example of the entire reason many of us have loved Japanese RPGs for years.- GamingTrend

If you've played LoTRO before, and all you want is more quests, and new zones to experience then by all means Rise of Isengard is well worth your purchase. But, if you have already burnt out on LoTRO then you won't find anything new here to change your mind.- GamingTrend

It isn't very often you get a sequel that improves in so many areas without changing too much, but it is clear that Dance Central is worthy of your precious holiday dollars.- GamingTrend

While there are some rough edges, Project Aces has done a fantastic job overhauling the series, breathing new life into what had otherwise become a 'fish in a barrel' simulator.- GamingTrend

Nostalgic gamers and those who simply must have every Resident Evil game out there only need apply – the crippling game control, the frustrating game structure and the minimal overall improvements will likely bring buyers remorse.- GamingTrend

Graphically there is nothing on the console that compares, and in terms of the complete package, it delivers in every way.- GamingTrend

I'll put it simply: If you can roll with the macabre toilet humor and if religion jokes don't put you off, AND if you enjoy games with non-optional permadeath, randomized content, tons of secrets and considerable replay value… it's hard to go wrong with The Binding of Isaac. Especially at five dollars.- GamingTrend

he game on average can take between twenty to forty hours to complete, but as with many other NIS titles, you can easily sink hundreds of hours into this, trying to see what all you can find in the random dungeons. It's fun, and at only $20, it's well worth the price.- GamingTrend

I did have fun with it, and I'd recommend it to those who can appreciate the presentation and aren't quickly frustrated by an AI that seems to have an unfair advantage.- GamingTrend

Unfortunately it feels like Silicon Knights wrote the story on the back of a cocktail napkin and employed absolutely zero imagination in building the enemies we'd be facing.- GamingTrend

It's so often that by the third outing both games and movies can lose any hope of a coherent storyline or sensible character arc. Gears of War 3 manages to dodge that bullet, ending up stronger than the previous two titles in every way. The solid multiplayer, a somewhat meaningful single player experience, an epic score, and the chance to share it with your friends is a compelling package.- GamingTrend

If you are looking for just a fun time with some friends and don't care about franchises or online play, you might be better off with a previous version of Madden. If you want to control your own franchise or build your own team, then there have been enough enhancements to justify the purchase. Just realize that some on-field issues still exist.- GamingTrend

Strategy is the entree and MMO are the sides here. I've enjoyed the dozens of hours I've put into the game, the biggest question is if it would hold up for dozens of hours more, and my answer to that is I'll unlikely play in any long-term sense, it just hasn't held my interest enough to encourage me to do so.- GamingTrend

Long story short, Terraria has a few flaws, but if you're looking for something like Minecraft but not exactly like it, or if you have an itch that Minecraft isn't scratching, for only $9.99 you're virtually guaranteed a good time for quite a while.- GamingTrend

Catherine is a healthy reminder that not every game is aspiring to be a Hollywood movie, that there are still developers out there who haven't sold out to a big-name publisher, and that video games can still offer a unique experience. Just remember to keep the difficulty down if you want to fully enjoy the characters and story.- GamingTrend

It may not be the most epic shooter experience out there, but F.E.A.R. 3 eloquently satisfies its niche by giving us a refreshing alternative to the played out machismo theme in most of the shooters out there.- GamingTrend

Gamers new to the genre probably won't find much to like here and should look to games like the Etrian Odyssey series if they want to stick their foot in the Dungeon Crawling waters. But long time fans of the genre like me will definitely get their $15 worth.- GamingTrend

Unfortunately Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D doesn't feel very much like a Resident Evil game. It feels more like a zombie shooting gallery, except with blood spurts with each hit instead of the ding of a bell.- GamingTrend
