Need for Speed The Run is a game that has just enough issues to make it an average game. It is filled with potential, and it eventually could have made a really great game. The cross-country race is a great story-telling mechanic and the cutscenes are well done. The progression of the Driver Level to gain more bonuses could have been given out more consistently and some of the cars could have handled better. If you don't mind driving for a while to unlock cars and abilities, then you should find a satisfying experience.- GamingTrend

You might be better to wait for a price drop or pick up the original Pure if you can find it, as both games are too similar to each other to give Pulse a recommendation.- GamingTrend

A fun, albeit highly frustrating, experience. For starters, the bugs and glitches are across-the-board aggravating and Avalanche, Eidos and Microsoft all should have kept this title in development for at least another month.- GamingTrend

Ultimately, Helldivers is a fun, extremely well-polished game which is going to appeal to a fairly specific subset of gamers.- GamingTrend

The length of the gameplay and the replyability makes for an enjoyable game once you get past the sometimes frustrating difficulty and the slightly awkward controls.- GamingTrend

If you liked previous Bust-A-Move games, then Space Bust-A-Move will provide you with plenty of portable puzzle gaming. It's not going to make anyone change their mind on the formula.- GamingTrend

A rehash of the previous game, so you won’t find anything new here, so you will want to consider that before purchasing the game.- GamingTrend

What I don't understand though is how the developers felt the need to add a really bad slow motion element to the final boss battle, when this had never happened anywhere else in the game. This makes the final fight agonizingly annoying, so if you can get this far then you may as well push on through.- GamingTrend

If you like an environmental puzzle game with some combat mixed in and like a little of betrayal on top, Mirror's Edge is the game for you. If you are looking for a game that will keep you hooked for days on end, this game is definitely something you can skip over.- GamingTrend

If you can live with adjusting the sliders until you get the right feel, or can't live without the most current roster, or are salivating at playing a league with 31 of your closest football buddies, then you will find Madden NFL 10 worth the price of admission. If you can't though, then you might want to consider that annual purchase.- GamingTrend

Long story short, Terraria has a few flaws, but if you're looking for something like Minecraft but not exactly like it, or if you have an itch that Minecraft isn't scratching, for only $9.99 you're virtually guaranteed a good time for quite a while.- GamingTrend

Anyone who's played NBA Jam will feel right at home from the very beginning of HoopWorld. You'll be passing, shooting and making wild dunks, but with a few twists.- GamingTrend

If it was a full price PSP game, it really wouldn't be worth the money, but at $20 and the sheer number of endings, it's probably worth it for fans of Disgaea or adventure games in general.- GamingTrend

Overall, the best descriptor I can use for Lunar SSH is “charming”. While many things may feel antiquated or cliché, the entire package has this old-school familiarity that can’t help but bring a smile to your face.- GamingTrend

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers is not a bad game, but it’s not a great game either. In a lot of ways it suffers from the high expectations that come with a Final Fantasy game.- GamingTrend

The hostile AI though is killer. They seem to know where you and your team are at all times, and occasionally you'll run across an opponent who has more than human reaction times and accuracy. Other times they'll blindly run into your cross fire as they're still following their scripted orders to get into position.- GamingTrend

If you've played LoTRO before, and all you want is more quests, and new zones to experience then by all means Rise of Isengard is well worth your purchase. But, if you have already burnt out on LoTRO then you won't find anything new here to change your mind.- GamingTrend

Destroy All Humans!: Big Willy Unleashed has its moments but they are primarily found in the first city, and while the Vietnam and Fantasy Island spoofs find their marks, there is far more material from the 1970s worth mining.- GamingTrend

While the pure combat in Killzone: Mercenary is well-executed, the freedom of choice never comes to fruition, and it smacks of lost opportunity. Thankfully, its absence has no impact on the entertaining multiplayer modes which are worth returning to again and again.- GamingTrend
