Rise of Nightmares is an interesting attempt to bring something new to the Kinect, and for that it gets my vote. Though it stumbles along the way, it's a unique experience to play through, fighting off the undead and sprinting from abominations without a controller in sight. It's got its flaws, but if you got an interest in the horror genre, and a Kinect, take a stroll through a haunted landscape in Rise of Nightmares.

Bodycount is viscerally fun. It plays fast and sounds great thanks to all the carnage you dish out. However, it isn't really deep. The story almost seemed like a second thought and AI makes most levels feel like just a shooting gallery. If you like your shooters shallow, it is at least worth a try.

Despite a bit of glitching, I think Crimson Alliance is a welcome addition in my household. Sure, it's not the prettiest girl in town, but she's charming, easy to get along with and still violent enough that your mother would not approve. What more could you want from a Sunday morning date? Overall, there's just not enough content in Super Monkey Ball 3D to justify the purchase. The only mode worth playing is Monkey Ball, and although it is fun, it doesn't last very long. Both the 3D effect and motion sensor controls work great, but they can't be used at the same time. And no online functionality really strips the game of any prolonged use. Unless you're a Super Monkey Ball fanatic, this one's a pass.

Demon War isn't the greatest expansion I've seen to a game like this, but it's certainly something. It capitalizes on the strengths of Din's Curse and its unique properties, building upon them and adding more properties of that kind to the game, instead of just adding more enemies or something (though there are more of those). Like the original game, if you want something different in your dungeon delving, something else that just isn't on the market, Din's Curse, and now its expansion, will be perfect for you.

Overall, while this won't be anyone's number one game on their shelf, Spongebob Squigglepants is a fun game to play, provided you aren't expecting more than a Wario Ware 'clone'.

In the end, Splinter Cell 3D just feels like a lazy port.

Overall though, this game is a serious mixed bag. Great graphics and an interesting concept, but the execution was sloppy at times, cumbersome and just plain frustrating.

Still, if you want more Kingdom Hearts, or even just a decent action-RPG, by all means, this is the game for you. But if you want something deeper, whether it comes to Kingdom Hearts in general or the genre as a whole, then perhaps you might want to skip this one.

In the end, CrimeCraft is kind of a mixed bag. It's not very creative: the gameplay is fun, but incredibly standard. And Vogster's attempts at including PvE in a "PWNS" can be seen as ambitious, but also as a colossal failure. Naruto Shippuden: Naruto vs. Sasuke is a good DS title for what it is worth. The story is quite short, but it does make up for its length with modes and extras to unlock. With incredible graphics, great sound design and a fantastic sense of humor one would imagine that this game couldn't possibly fail, especially in light of Twisted Pixels' previous works. Unfortunately the gameplay is nowhere near up to the caliber of the rest of the game.

Disciples III: Renaissance does not have a lot going for it. Well, strike that, it does have a fantastic art style that will draw you in very quickly if you allow it. But the lack of tactical depth, the repetition of battle, upgrades, and heroes levelling, a campaign that's long but not terribly interesting, even the poor audio all work together to make playing this game a chore.

If you really have the urge to play a game like this, go buy the original Crackdown. It'd be much cheaper. You've already beaten the first one, you say? Well guess what - you've pretty much already beaten this one too.

If I were forced to summarize Hexyz Force in a sentence, I think I'd go with: "Standard fare, don't expect much." It's not terrible, but it's not going to shatter any expectations.

Dante’s Inferno would be a much better game if it had spent a bit more time in development. There’s a lot to like about White Knight Chronicles but there’s also a lot of problems with the title. For those who haven’t been following the game since its announcement you’re not losing much by skipping over this title for other, better, PS3 exclusives.

With 15 fun, varied puzzles to challenge your mind, The Amazing Brain Train will definitely scratch that mini-game itch whenever it arises.
