KARMA: The Dark World is one hell of an enjoyable experience thanks to its stunning graphics, meaningful visuals, and gripping narrative. You will never know what’s coming next or where the story will take you but you are guaranteed to be in for a wild ride with a few jumps along the way.- GAMINGbible

Having been released with no build-up, Look Outside is unlikely to feature in conversations alongside gaming horror greats like Silent Hill 2 or Resident Evil, but it deserves to be. Sure, some of the retro designs feel obtuse, or archaic at points, but that doesn’t take away from horrific moments that will stay with me when I’ve switched the game off, and crawled into bed.- GAMINGbible

It’s one of the best games I’ve played this year for sure, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a compelling, narrative adventure game. It’s not a British Fallout knock-off, it’s something much more than that and it has serious potential to become a series.- GAMINGbible

Assassin’s Creed Shadows isn’t just one of the best games of the year so far, it’s the new yardstick by which all future Assassin’s Creed games should be measured. This is an epic, sweeping adventure bolstered by jaw-dropping visuals and a masterful blend of stealth, action, and exploration. You don’t want to miss this one.- GAMINGbible

After so many hours playing, I still haven’t seen or experienced everything here. This was a special game back on the WiiU, and while that feeling is still here, so are some of the frustrations. It’s going to be an overwhelming experience for some, and others will see such an expansive game as too much of a time sink. However, millions of others are going to embark on a journey of exploration filled with amazing moments, superb characters, and tremendous fights, all packaged in a new, shiny wrapping, worth the wait.- GAMINGbible

While Visual Concepts hasn't hit a home run with The Island and the Bloodline Rules match, there is something new for the studio to build on going into next year and beyond. Inside the squared circle, WWE 2K25 is not only the absolute best pro wrestling game today, but it’s arguably the best pro wrestling game ever.- GAMINGbible

If it’s not already clear by my words, or by the score at the bottom of this review, I think Wanderstop is a true gem. It may seem, at times, like the antithesis of a video game, but at other moments it’s perhaps the most quintessential variety, in that what it does can only be achieved through this artform. Much like the tea shop itself, Wanderstop is a place to stop, sit back, put down the frenetic games, and breathe. It’s a point to rest, to recharge, to enjoy life and all of its eccentricities. Wanderstop is joy, distilled into a lovely cup of tea.- GAMINGbible

There’s no denying the beauty held within the pixel graphics here. The first game has its charms in visual design, but the second game improves in every department, bringing more detail and a range of colours that make practically every scene look like a work of art. There’s also much more joy in building your army of 108 characters here, purely due to the added depth for each member. It’s hard to overstate just how much better this game is, even many years after its release. If you’re an RPG purist, you’ll get a lot from this remaster package, but don’t expect too much.- GAMINGbible

Split Fiction has a wow factor that’s surprisingly hard to come by, despite how advanced consoles now are. Hazelight didn’t just set out to make a great game; it’s a great game that dares to push the boundaries of what this generation can be. It’s a triumphant tour de force that aims to be so much, from a commentary on the state of the creative arts to a love letter to gaming, and manages to succeed in every area. I’d even go as far as saying it’s now firmly one of my all-time favourite games, and there’s little praise higher than that.- GAMINGbible

Writing this review has only made me love the game more, because I’m sitting here reflecting on the lovely moments of achieving success through the loops of exploring and finding cool stuff to line the halls of my buildings. As far as I’m concerned, this is the best entry in the Two Point series and if you were already a fan of those, you’re going to adore this trip through history.- GAMINGbible

I’d be eager to see another collection done in a similar style, and one that includes the more advanced Yu-Gi-Oh titles from home consoles, but this is fine for the time being.- GAMINGbible

Some dodgy UI and inventory management aside it’s a well-made title that packs a lot of content, and spares no time in getting you stuck right into the action. The open-worlds feel like the perfect arenas to slay an near-endless number of monsters, and there’s more than enough to do in between the hunts to keep you occupied and feeling like you’re progressing and improving as a hunter.- GAMINGbible

As much as I wish I could dive into Rage now, the story’s second and final part, Don’t Nod is very clever in holding the instalment back. Its lack of availability only proves that the studio has achieved what it set out to do as I’ve not been able to stop theorising about what may happen next. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is a modern classic. Tape one, Bloom, proves that this is the evolution that the episodic adventure genre needed, replacing player passivity with a clear sense of agency and involvement. When all that is backed by an intriguing story, well-written characters, and an infusion of 90s nostalgia, well, you end up with something very special indeed.- GAMINGbible

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii might not do much to reinvent the wheel, in particular with this series but it’s no less a blast. Developers Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio knows exactly what fans want and how to deliver the most enjoyable experience possible. Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a jolly adventure and it’s a delight seeing Goro Majima shining once more in the gorgeous sunny Aloha state.- GAMINGbible

I won’t claim Obsidian has reinvented the wheel, for it’s stuck to what it knows well and does best. Still, it’s easy to tell a finely crafted RPG apart from a mediocre one. Avowed solidifies Obsidian's mastery of bringing intoxicating worlds to life and tangibly close. All you need to do is reach out and touch it to be transported to The Living Lands.- GAMINGbible

Henry has been waiting for a chance to reclaim some of what was lost during his first adventure. He’s older and a little bit wiser, though still hot-headed when he wants to be. His is a tale meant to be expanded upon as you take control of his actions. Embrace being the narrator of his story, don’t shy away from it. Henry of Skalitz is yours to command, do him justice and give him an adventure filled with the complexities befitting this honest, hardworking man. There’s a lot of loss and bloodshed during this hostile period, so make sure Henry sees the world before he’s forced to endure the hardships he’s unwittingly set in motion.- GAMINGbible

By the end of my adventure, I’d questioned so much about friendships, how society treats each other, and how emotions shape our outlook on the world. I was sad when it ended, I could have stayed here for many more hours. Citizen Sleeper 2 asks big questions, but never bludgeons you over the head with subtext, it simply asks you what you’d do in a certain situation, playing a chosen role. It does so, bolstered by a robust dice-rolling system, and some genuinely astonishing writing, as if you were playing a TTRPG with your best friend guiding your hand.- GAMINGbible

If there’s anything about cosy gaming that appeals to you, Hello Kitty Island Adventure should undoubtedly be high on your to-play list. Developer Sunblink, in partnership with Sanrio, may have built a game on the foundations of those that have come before in the genre, but that doesn’t detract from the fact that the end result is a sunshine-filled tonic that’s sure to delight every single player who consumes it.- GAMINGbible

Despite the hurdles Lawrence and I had to overcome during our time together, I would recommend Little Lighthouse of Horror to anyone, even those who don’t usually play horror. It’s not a hair-raising experience but rather an eerie escapade that erodes at you like waves lashing the shoreline. Similar to a pebble on the beach, it’s imperfect but worthy of admiration all the same.- GAMINGbible

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is a sweet little upgrade, and it pairs nicely with Donkey Kong Returns: Tropical Freeze also on the Nintendo Switch. For those who’ve never played the game before it’s well-worth picking up, and for those who have I think it’s a good enough remaster to return to, especially if it’s been a while. Hopefully this means we’ll be getting more Donkey Kong Country games in the future, and I’d love to see other Donkey Kong games like Donkey Konga make a comeback as well.- GAMINGbible

While I can’t give a definitive opinion on the game as a whole, I can deliver a verdict on the slice of what will be available on release day. Which is an ARPG of sheer brilliance. One that I know will consume many more hours, will please an already established and eager player base, and evolve over time into something even more special. [Early Access Score = 90]- GAMINGbible

Tetris Forever isn’t just for historians and archivists who want to know more about the franchise. It’s a treasure trove of joy that rolls back the years and shows that with a simple formula, games can last forever. If you enjoy the classic game, this is the definitive way to play it. Sure, there might not be a lot in rewatching the historical segments over and over, but they’re simply extra flavouring in a banquet of gaming that is already delectable in every form.- GAMINGbible

It’s hard to deny Dragon Quest III HD-2D is anything other than the perfect remake. It’s a faithful recreation that does an admirable job of fixing up the creakier aspects of a nearly 40 year old game while keeping the original’s spirit very much intact. While it may be a little tough to recommend to anyone new to Dragon Quest (or RPGs in general), longtime fans of the series will find a lot to love.- GAMINGbible

LEGO Horizon Adventures gets so much right, and Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo have created a truly wonderful experience that I’m sure will be enjoyed by fans both old and new … if they can justify that price tag. It’s a shame because LEGO Horizon Adventures is well worth picking up if you overlook that but when, for many, money is tighter than ever, that’s not possible. This is a steep price for the amount of content on offer - even if the game does boast dazzling visuals and stellar combat. If Horizon Forbidden West is also to be adapted, LEGO Horizon Adventures establishes some solid foundations, but I’d want to see a greater level of ambition next time around.- GAMINGbible

I went into the campaign of Black Ops 6 hopeful, but skeptical. It’s easy to get caught up in the pre-release hype and sometimes that can lead to disappointment. Thankfully, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a blast from start to finish, and provides some of the best moments that this series has to offer. I hope Black Ops 6 is indicative of a long-overdue upturn in quality for the series. If it is, Call of Duty fans have every reason to be excited about what the future may hold. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered offers a reminder of why this franchise is here to stay, as if we needed one. Guerrilla Games’ storytelling and world building is industry leading, and with the help of Nixxes, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered imbues itself with the lessons learnt from the development of the original game’s successor, Forbidden West. You may not have thought it possible, but this version of Aloy’s world is even more beautiful, with Nixxes’ subtle attention to detail resulting in a space that feels even more immersive and brimming with life. When you can upgrade for just £10, there’s really no reason why you shouldn’t.- GAMINGbible
