The concepts behind the gameplay aren't exactly original, but their use and execution makes up for any stolen ideas. What the developers have done is unexpected: they've taken an excuse to make a truly forgettable game, and instead produced a quality product that keeps the player playing, and occasionally makes them laugh as well.

Despite the bugs and ads this is still a great game. In a way the Battlefield series is a lot like sex and pizza, even when they are bad they are still not all bad.

While a solid title and a good entry into the series, Age of Empires 3: The Asian Dynasties failed to rekindle my interest in Age of Empires 3. A good title for fans, but not worth it for those hoping for a reinvigoration of the series.

Ace Combat 6 is one of the best air-combat games I have played, yet it has a lot of flaws outside the core game that drag it down a bit.

Worms for the Xbox Live Arcade does an excellent job of recreating the fun and excitement of the series, but it's slightly disappointing to see so many modes and weapons stripped from the experience. Still, if you're looking for a great game to play with friends or online, then you can't go wrong with Worms.

It's one of the few platformers on the Xbox that delivers the goods almost every step of the way.

If you're a Wii owner and you haven't played The Godfather then by all means pick this game up and see what all the fuss is about, but if you've already fought your way to the top then there's probably not enough new content here to warrant a second play through.

A solid turn-based outing in a generic fantasy setting, Fantasy Wars offers some good, but not great, tactical fun.

The game isn't perfect but those looking for a solid DS game with a lot of action and a hint of strategy should check out Glory Days 2.

The look and feel of the game is what draws you in but ultimately it is the shallow game play that makes the game a slight chore to play, coupled with the lack of extra content and you have a game that really is over before it feels like it should be over.

As with many movie games, Narnia has a large helping of content but a rushed interface. Controls are slow and a bit unresponsive, and the inability to pause during menu management is confusing.

Until then SingStar:Pop is a solid game that's easy to get into and a lot of fun to play, even if you aren't a big fan of karaoke.

If you liked Doom 3, then you’ll love the expansion pack. However, if you felt the game got a bit old and hated the flashlight/gun game play mechanism, there’s nothing new here to win you over.

This vehicular action/MMO hybrid may be a tad ahead of its time. Grind-core audiences have too many combat variables; pulp action audiences have too many RPG-growth elements.

Turok’s return from death isn’t exactly a monumental occasion, but it’s not all that bad either. The new Turok is pretty average as FPSs go, but there’s definitely potential for a sequel if the developers innovate a little.

This game is appropriate for young animal lovers ages 8-11, and while it is educational, it makes up for that by also being fun. There are a few annoyances, but overall it is a good value.

This newest Sam & Max adventure may not reach the same heights as the past games, but it's still worth checking out due to its sense of humor and memorable characters.

While the new lead blocker and Superstar modess aren’t going to light the world on fire the actual football in the game is excellent. It is hard not to feel that you’re playing an updated version up "NCAA07" though.

Just when we thought "fun" in an RTS meant a term paper's worth of learning tech trees and tackling tough-graded assignments, 1701 A.D. comes along and reminds us to Keep It Simple, Stupid. Even without some overblown storyline drama, it's impossible to put this one's single-player campaign down.

Some of the tracks in the game are troublesome and the graphics look like they're straight out of 1997, but honestly, what are you going to spend your fifty bucks on? "Pokemon Colosseum"? Yea, I didn't think so.

The game is at least a must-rent for all gamers and games with younger children will probably want to add the game to their permanent collection.

A solid RPG/dating sim that will please those that love all things Japanese.

A fun game but a little uninspired in parts. There's a lot to like here but the game is missing that one little thing that would put it over the top.

A good first step into the world of episodic content, the game is not perfect but Emergence is a decent way to re-start this franchise and kick off this new type of gameplay.

All in all, Breeders Cup gives a nice introduction to the sport of horse racing, but only those willing to truly dive in and concern themselves with the more complex aspects of the game will be satisfied. Those that just want to climb onto the back of a horse and race will be left wanting more of a challenge.

Some huge balancing issues really mar this title. In a trait that seems to be a carryover from "UNLIMITED Saga," the game is incredibly unforgiving.

It's fun and a blast in multiplayer. Cloning Clyde isn't a very deep game but it can be worth your $10 if you like side scrolling games.

Shows its age in both the lack of technical sophistication and the almost forgotten subject matter.
