This Special Edition XBLA release features stunning graphics, improved controls and brand new voice actors. Unfortunately it didn't fix some of the game's faults. But even with its imperfections, LeChuck's Revenge is an adventure worth going on!

A solid standalone expansion to one of my favorite time-sinks, Armored Princess has enough new goodies and little bits of polish to make for quite an enjoyable time.

Castlevania: Harmony of Despair is a multiplayer game first and a single-player game second. This is a daring twist on a tried and true franchise, one that may split a lot of gamers. The good news is that this experiment mostly works, even if it comes at the expense of a proper single-player mode.

Cubixx shows Taito how to make the next generation in Qix. While this is hardly the most original game of the year, I found the simple gameplay and solid presentation appealing. Best of all, the game is only a few bucks!

8-Bit Is Enough is a surprisingly slow-to-start but satisfying capstone to an eclectic first season for Homestar Runner and friends.

Zooo isn't the deepest or flashiest puzzle game, but it gets the job done with a pleasing aesthetic style and solid, pick-up-and-play dynamics. Kids and adults will like this one for its simplistic appearance and deceptively challenging gameplay.

Fans of the anime will absolutely love Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage. Other gamers may not love the game quite as much but will find a solid and enjoyable adventure from start to finish.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss delivers a solid action game full of large scale shoot outs and climbing. Sadly, this Sony Bend developed launch title is marred by a lack of variety in the environments and too many tacked-on mini-games. It may not be as ambitious as Uncharted 3, but Golden Abyss is yet another worthwhile chapter in Nathan Drake's increasingly travelogue.

Dead Island is a mixed bag. While the game is filled with debilitating bugs and frustrating glitches, its addicting gameplay and immersive world keeps you coming back again and again despite those flaws. If given the proper post-release support from the developers, this game could easily be an A+ title and be in contention to be considered one of the best games of the year.

Burnout Crash is a proper multiplayer mode away from being most enjoyable downloadable title I've ever played.

Undisputed does the fighting genre justice with its slick visuals, solid gameplay, and its abundance of content gives gamers plenty to do.

Midnight Club: Los Angeles isn't without a few problems, including a steep learning curve, unfair artificial intelligence and a lack of originality. However, that shouldn't keep you from having a great time as you race around one of the best looking recreations of Los Angeles I have ever seen!

Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon is a fun game, especially with the armor system they implemented.

If Splatterhouse has caught your interest you should give it a rent. It's a solid action game with an interesting story and a lot of blood. There's enough content to justify a purchase, if you like the series.

A solid, well written game that's bit on the production values. It's a little on the short side but it does serve as a nice warm up for the next game.

Although plagued by balance and control issues, COP the Recruit is ambitious in its depth and groundbreaking in its technology. The easily frustrated might want to skip this game, but for experienced gamers looking for a challenge, COP offers a lengthy experience and hardcore difficulty.

With the easily accessible Arcade mode and the great degree of customization of the difficulty level in the more complex Simulator mode, SBK X will appeal to rank amateurs and devoted motorcycle racing fans alike. It provides a reasonably accurate representation of high-end motorcycle racing (probably) feels like.

While it's easy to compare it to Capcom's 1989 hit Strider, Moon Diver certainly stands on its own. The game does suffer from repetitive gameplay and a bit too much grinding, but the fact-paced action and four-player mode more than makes up for the shortcomings!

Seems to take too much from too many other real-time strategy games, and fails to capitalize and to create its own niche.

Fans of both old school shooters and 2D beat-em-ups will fall in love with the merging of these two genre.

There is plenty to see and do in Piczle Cross: Story of Seasons, as long as the thing you want to do is nonogram puzzles with a Story of Seasons theme. If you were expecting to play the first nonogram farm sim then you may hbe disappointed. The puzzles are pretty good, some of them are just silly, I’m still upset about what the developer considers to be an egg. The collage puzzles require more patience and thinking than the normal nonogram puzzles presented here, but that’s good too. Other features like the almanac are welcome additions-even if they don’t add much overall. If you are into both genres then picking up Piczle Cross: Story of Seasons make sense.

Once Upon a Katamari is a love letter to all the other games, for a game that doesn't always love you back. If there's ever been a time you wanted to shut a king up, it's here. There's still a sprinkle of happiness to roll over any and everything, but my Katamari may be getting a little flat.

It's suffering from some of the worst performance issues of all time, it's not the best looking game, the story sucks and the hero is pretty lame. But if you can look past those shortcomings you will find that The Last Remnant has a lot to offer.

Arma Reforger offers some of best military roleplaying around, but the gameplay is complex to a fault at times on PS5. Hardcore might be an understatement, as it’s one of those games where your enjoyment is determined by how much effort you put into it. Despite the deep complexity, Arma Reforger can be deeply rewarding as well.

It may look and feel like Lemmings, but Atari's newest puzzler has a number of tricks up its sleeve.

The single-player is a complete write-off, but the multi-player crowd will find a lot to like in Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad.

F.E.A.R 2 is a great game to experience, but repetitive gameplay keeps it from achieving classic status.

A fun, if not terribly challenging, pulp adventure title. The brief ride is enjoyable the entire time, and a solid pick for fans of the genre.
