SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 is a solid entry into the genre filled with so many features it will have WWE fans playing for months. The multiplayer modes and creation tools are very good and offer a lot of variety and increased replay value.- Gaming Nexus

There is a pretty cool thrill to chasing down an enemy through a canyon and finally getting a nice kill shot on them only to be taken out by his bastard teammate before you can finish him off.- Gaming Nexus

This game has everything, fast action, time travel, a great sense of humor and some of the best visuals of any platformer game. A Crack in Time is easily one of the best PlayStation 3 games of the year!- Gaming Nexus

Not only is Starved for Death a great episode, but it also shows that The Walking Dead has more to show us than just zombie fighting. There's a story here that is unlike anything I've seen in a zombie game, which is really saying something given how many zombie games there are. It's not for everybody, but fans of the pilot will this atmospheric second episode up!- Gaming Nexus

Uncharted is a tremendously fun game and one of the best gaming experiences of the year. While it borrows heavily from other games in the market it's such a nice and diverse game that it's hard to find much fault with.- Gaming Nexus

DiRT 3 certainly meets Codemaster's stated goal to provide "More, more more!" with tons of tracks, tons of cars, and tons of variety. The return of split-screen multiplayer brings with it the promise of satisfying in-person competitive racing, but online multiplayer is available to those who prefer it.- Gaming Nexus

I absolutely love Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012. The game is a huge improvement over the original 2011 release and a great video game representation of the card game although not completely accurate. There are still some rooms of improvement in order to replicate the actual card-playing experience, but the developers are definitely on the right track.- Gaming Nexus

Daxter isn't just a great platformer with amazing graphics and sound, it's one of the best playing games you can get on the PSP. You can look around all you want, but there's no reason to; Daxter is the new king of 3D portable platforming games.- Gaming Nexus

Soulcalibur 4 has its flaws, awful writing and stilted dialogue, but it is also the essential fighting game of the summer, if not the entire year. Well-balanced characters and endless customization will keep you coming back for more.- Gaming Nexus

Proving once again that the PSP is the place to go to get your favorite obscure old school role-playing game, Atlus offers us Shin Megami Tensei: Persona. This thirteen year old remake not only improves on the original in every way (except for the graphics), but quickly becomes one of the system's top adventure games.- Gaming Nexus

THQ's Smackdown vs Raw 2011 is a massive game, both in terms of its scope and its content. There is a ton to do here and wrestling game fans will likely find it easy to hold their selves over until next year's game with this title.- Gaming Nexus

It's a deep adventure game full of memorable characters and an epic story. It's a game that takes you on a journey that lasts some twenty years. And best of all, it's a quest you likely have never gone on. For that reason alone, Dragon Quest V is a must-own!- Gaming Nexus
