The game has all the same fun as the PC version, a very nice XBox Live multiplayer support, and all the visuals and sounds that made the PC game such a hit.- Gaming Illustrated

One fantastic thing about Doom 3 is that the game gets better the more you play it, and the further you get, the better the weapons, the bigger the monsters, the more diverse the environments, and the greater the thrills.- Gaming Illustrated

A great purchase for anyone of practically any age who loves fun video games, no matter the genre. Platform veterans in particular will find tough, addictive challenges that have been missing from jumping games featuring checkpoints and infinite lives!- Gaming Illustrated

Here is my big gripe: I don’t play online. I don’t enjoy playing online. I would like to have the chance to accumulate a few achievements and gamer points by playing the game at home, offline. Is that too much to ask for???- Gaming Illustrated

The best feature of the game, by far, is the original script, story line, and depth the game goes into for the London Underworld and how easily it sweeps you into the whole genre.- Gaming Illustrated

For what used to be my favorite arcade game of all time, this is a wonderful new edition that stays true to the original. The graphics have been wonderfully redone, and the sounds still sound great.- Gaming Illustrated

A fantastically cool game for the people that love a good mix of FPS action and RPG adventure. The game has a good story-driven flow to it that is fueled by the gothic themes usually associated with the vampire stigma.- Gaming Illustrated

Easily the scariest game I've played since the original Suffering, and it has that beat hands down. The immersion makes you feel like you are so far into the game that you might want a friend nearby to remind you from time to time that you are not in actuality fighting for your life.- Gaming Illustrated

The main plot can be completed in a rental period though, so skilled gamers should rent first to see whether the fun of Spidey's web slinging offsets the repetition of the game's missions.- Gaming Illustrated

Kids and the parents who shop for them or nostalgic Atari 2600 gamers will find it a decent purchase, but it’s recommended they rent it first as well to see if the unique control schemes aren’t too frustrating.- Gaming Illustrated

Easily the most impressive feature of the graphics is the level of detail with the fluid motion with all the characters in the game. It's almost a combination of 2D characters running around in a 3D world, but there's no denying that the graphics are amongst the best on hand-held devices at this time.- Gaming Illustrated
