With realism aside, I still had a hard time hating this game. It is fun; I just had to forget all I know about baseball.

It is a bit on the short side, but the upside is a fantastic plot that has numerous side stories to it that cannot all be experienced in a single play.

If you're desperate for some next generation eye candy and can put up with the mediocre game engine, then by all means snag this game.

Since the game is relatively short (under 10 hours for most players), I have to wonder if Rare didn't try to compensate for this shortcoming by making some of the areas insanely difficult to beat.

Isn’t without its flaws, but there is way more good than bad, and most of the bad is hardly worth mentioning.

A reasonably deep and engaging experience that will please both advocates of "Diablo"-style hack-and-slash as well as fans of the anime series. There's a lot of solid gameplay lurking below the lustreless exterior.

Retro Helix is a fantastic game, better than its predecessor and one of the last must own games for PlayStation owners.

Somewhat of a mixed bag - the game has frenetic shooting action and decent control, but it's mediocre mission design and short length make keep it from the greatness of such predecessors like "Tie Fighter" and "Rogue Squadron."

After playing a four player game in NBA Hoopz, we ended up going right back to "NBA Showtime" because it is overall, just a better game.

On average, a single level doesn't take more than three minutes to finish, and with that in mind, it doesn't take long to factor in that the title doesn't have much longevity...Once you've gone through once, you have done it all.

Graphically the game is astounding! This is easily the best-looking racing title on the PC this year.

It isn't the prettiest thing out there, and there are a few rough edges here and there when it comes to bombing and the like, but otherwise, it's a decent simulation that'll have you cheering as you attack Japanese and German bases.

To all the PC nuts that are reading this, imagine "Motocross Madness 2" with 4 wheels and you know what to expect from this PlayStation 2 classic.

Considering that Insane's graphics are fantastic and it has enough gameplay diversity in its numerous modes to keep people playing for hours on end, it's disappointing that the one of the most basic features of a racing game, its control, ultimately drags the game into the mud.

Not only is Paper Mario a superb RPG, but it's also another quality N64 game that simply shouldn't be missed.

In spite of its upgrades, Revolution suffers in some areas compared to other versions of Rayman 2, particularly the Dreamcast game.

The combat in the game can be a blast at times, but the awkward control and super precision of the enemies often makes it more difficult than it needs to be.

It is difficult to recommend Driving Emotion Type-S to anyone who is not a hardcore fan of the driving sim genre, or those with a short fuse. Those that fall within that narrow vertical and don't mind tweaking, tuning, and testing to the extreme, may find some enjoyment with the game.

Like the original "Diablo," the game offers an insidiously addictive style that you'll be hard pressed to pull yourself away from.

The combat is what really grabs this game and barely keeps it from sinking into oblivion.

An average action RPG when it was released on the PC two years ago, and the transition from the PC to the PlayStation certainly has not been the easiest for the game.

An enjoyable change of pace and presents enough atmosphere, and solid gameplay to entertain, just don't expect any of it to be easy.

Forget "Lemans," forget "Ferrari F355," forget "Gran Turismo 2," and forget "Ridge Racer V," this is the new king of racers.

The graphics have received a much needed boost (though at the cost of some nasty side effects), and the gameplay is still decent, but there are definitely better pickings out there.

With 20 characters, various training missions, and a surprisingly fun 2-player mode, there is a lot to be played in Kengo.
