A great expansion pack for one of the best strategy titles out there.

The battles should be more fluid and dungeons could be more unique, but ultimately the story and its characters carry .hack a notch above the standard RPG.

Getting into a game is incredibly easy, and the action draws you in like a real war movie.

The single player game is very good, better than most. The multiplayer online experience of Tides of War, though, is nothing short of spectacular.

With smooth graphics and animations, a true feel for the art of street ball, fantastic controls, and a multiplayer mode that brings out the trash talker in even choirboys make NBA Street a must have for owners of any major console.

What pleasantly surprised me about Hudson Soft's effort is its sense of difficulty. It doesn't wimp out on making the player work through a stage several times before picking up on the timing of the jumps, what order to kill the enemies and the like.

While not quite in the same league as an "F-Zero," "Wipeout" or "Extreme G," Tube Slider is enjoyable for a bit.

Game play is where Pro Racer Driver leaves most games behind. The computer A.I. is top notch, and reacts like a real driver and not just robot drones that are either set in one pattern, or trying to wreck your car purposely.

Voice chatting during the game with people from all around the country, while hammering through the games dungeons and challenge modes, is an awesome experience.

As fun as it starts out to be, it gets old rather quickly. Fortunately or unfortunately, the game is extremely short, and on its easiest mode can be completed in about an hour.

The combination of 2003 graphics with 1995 mission design hurts Postal 2 in the long term. Something else that absolutely kills the game is the insane amount of loading that goes on.

With a pleasant mix of a fantastic storyline, great character development, good pacing of action and adventure, pleasing graphics, and challenging, but fun puzzles, makes Golden Sun practically the “dream” game for fans of the RPG genre.

The best racing game I’ve played in months, and anyone looking to release a title in this genre now should look long and hard at what Rockstar’s been able to pull off here.

Slight edge might be given to the Xbox because of its superior dual analog sticks, but the GCN yellow c-stick isn’t too troublesome.

It's with a sigh of unfufilled expectations and through clenched teeth that I say Def Jam Vendetta is the best US wrestler this generation.

If a more compelling storyline was provided, the score would be higher, but as it stands right now, Devastation will sit on my HD for multiplayer matches and a reason to show off my PC’s graphics to friends and family and that’s about it.

Underneath the visual flair is a gameplay system that’s neither arcade nor simulation based, and never manages to excel in either.

If there were more combat, the inconsistencies in the environment wouldn't be so glaring, or at least they'd be more forgivable because you'd be busy with other things.

With the exception of some minor A.I. issues, specifically with your troops and the enemy units staring into each others eyes until you get close enough for them to start combat, DW4 is a near flawless game, with airtight controls and beautiful graphics.

The problem with State of Emergency is that it doesn't advance in any way. The things you're doing in the beginning are the same things you'll be doing at the end.
