I’ve always enjoyed the series’ simple, yet addicting premise, and hopefully you will to. That, my friends, is the only true recommendation I can give.

It’s short length (only 5 to 8 hours) and it’s repetitive and sometimes lacking gamplay really hurt it. There’s definitely some good fun to have, but it would be better done through a rental.

This IS soccer in it’s raw and truest form. The game offers many more features, including a newly improved career mode to keep you busy for months on end.

The lasting appeal really all depends on how much you got out of the old arcade machines. Just don’t expect 100 hours of game play here, unless you are just a die-hard Silent Scope veteran.

The Xbox Live function is easy to use, but good luck finding a crew to race. Several log-on attempts revealed that not too many people are logging into the AM races.
