There's no entertainment in combing through a burning building for five victims or hunting down the twenty-three convicts that just escaped from a bus, especially after you've spent five minutes trying to find that last victim. More infuriating is when you finally find that last victim or bad guy, only to die and have to repeat the whole process.

A game made for fans of the Duel Masters TV show and customizable card game. That's not a bad thing, as it definitely appeals to both demographics, but not much beyond that.

For those who have played the original PC version, I'm sorry to say that the console version just doesn't meet up to it in the end.

Most everyone else will appreciate this slightly faster game with excellent online play and much-improved graphics. The strategic, thoughtful play is still there, but it's not the same Ghost Recon you knew.

Game play can be summed up in one word…repetitive.

Just mediocre. It's not entirely devoid of creativity as the aspect of time control lends itself to clever puzzles, but the flawed hint system destroys any sense of challenge in solving those puzzles.

Sure, it's pretty generic underneath it all, but the layering of sheer badness elevates it to a certain legendary state. Give it a rent, and let the hilarity begin at the fact everything comes off as either a really clever parody of licensed games-or one of the worst things you've ever had to play.

The Dark Aether parts of the game added quite a bit of backtracking and mapping which really took me out of the experience more than I'd have liked. Still, the game is better than almost any other released this year, so it's definitely worth picking up.

Once the novelty wears off, you're left with a mediocre game memorable only for its unique control scheme. Don't get me wrong, it's still worth playing - just not at full price.

Another concern I have for this series, is besides the new songs, outfits, duet modes, and a few new characters, the game is virtually the same as the previous two. With too little additions each time around, I begin to wonder where my 40 bucks is going.

The only way anyone should be fooled into buying this is because of the Great One's name on the cover.

The problem is that the ending feels more like a mission briefing than a conclusion. Secrets are revealed, the final battle is set, the music swells and then bam, credits.

It is worth your time and money, as it offers gamers an experience never played before, even with the subtle similarities to "GTA". In the end, this is no "GTA," good or bad, this is Scrapland and in a league all by itself.

A very solid game, especially for one that was released over a year ago on the PC. The transition to the Xbox was flawless, and the added multiplayer maps are just icing on the cake.

Even though it's fun, it's almost too familiar. But the inclusion of a fleshed-out and very entertaining online mode pushes this one over the top.

But at no point does it feel like anything but an old fashioned arcade shooter with a few more controls. When there are so many first person shooters available that offer opportunity for strategy ' with wide open levels and options for how to approach an objective ' it's disappointing that Killzone is so thin in that dimension.

You will not find much of a challenge, or even a particularly long adventure as far as RPGs are concerned. What you will find is a game that will make you lose track of time, as you will be too engulfed in the experience.

But when ATV Offroad Fury 2 is every bit as good – even graphically, and extremely inexpensive because of its age, there's very little reason to get this version.
