Project 8 hit at a time when I was really craving some Tony Hawk gameplay, and it felt a little more fresh to me. Still a good game, no matter how you slice it.

If you already own "SOCOM 3," and you’re really only playing it for the multiplayer stuff, then you can avoid this one and save yourself a few bucks.

The game really is very simple. Perhaps it’s too simple for the majority of Soprano fans. It’s definitely too simple for the serious gamer.

I'm absolutely in love with Guitar Hero II. For me, it's the quintessential music and rhythm game on any system, in any territory. The song list is so diverse, and the control is so perfect. It's also one of the ultimate party games.

As it stands, you really only need to play each character once to check out their special moves, say “cool”, and move on. Great license, great production values, and a mediocre fighter, that pretty much sums it up.

On top of it all, the game crashes so often it seems like a sign. Every load and option change is a risk that results in equal occurrences of the following: a complete crash, stuck on locked screen or more playtime of a terribly boring and frustrating game.

Like any good portable title, it’s meant to be played in short bursts, and that’s where you’ll get the most enjoyment out of this one. On the visual side, Lumines II contains every bit of style and appeal that the first title did.

Scurge lasts long enough and provides a strong challenge to suit any Metroid fan or gamer looking for a good action title. Although its frustrations lie within some game design, and then translate through hardware (such as the D-pad), it's still very playable and very fun.

One of those rare games that can be appreciated by both hardcore and casual fans alike, Final Fantasy XII may very well be Square's last great adventure, and a fitting sendoff, for the PlayStation 2.

The lack of proper online play is a downer, and in spite of the difficulty, the game could have been a bit longer "out of the box". But overall, the game is an intense shooter with a gritty, cohesive sense of style and direction, and I can't see many fans of the genre being disappointed with it.

Without either online play or game sharing, Power Stone Collection has trouble living up to its roots or potential.

Vehicle handling is very responsive, and never manages to feel off. You’ll easily be able to tell the difference between most vehicle types, more so when it comes to different classes.

Even being a major horror fan and enjoying the fact that someone has created a horror themed platformer, I have a hard time believing this is going to find a core audience that shares my views about the game and its content.

Overall, if you like FPS titles, you like your games pretty, and you like to be scared, then F.E.A.R. is right up your alley. Proceed with caution; you will wet yourself on this ride.

Konductra, middling/Interesting concept, sure/ Bad lack of polish.

There is enough to please everyone, but don't expect to be wowed by anything new or revolutionary, yet it still doesn't take away from the fact this is a solid racing game.

Star Trek: Tactical Assault does a fantastic job with giving the player a feel of the Star Trek universe and what the commander of a starship had to go through in the shows. I would probably recommend picking out the PSP version if you had a choice.

Even if you're not a huge racing fan by any means (I'm not either), you'll still get a kick out of the core game mechanic of this title. It's all about having fun, and Fury Pro offers a whole lot of that.

It's a bargain bin game, for what it's worth plus a monthly fee. Not to mention, you can garner a thorough experience out of it within a couple weeks as a rental.

What .hack//G.U. throws at you is a brisk (well, compared to most jRPGs), well planned, somewhat clever but ultimately a bit generic romp through a MMORPG that resides in a unsettling futuristic world that you only view through electronic windows.

Just another average licensed game that decided to disrespect the wrong film.

The huge cast of characters and unlockable extras helps push it over the top.

Hands down, Capcom offers the most complete nostalgia collections available. The latest includes titles practically destined for portable systems and is well worth the price.

Don't be fooled by it's boxart or weird name, though; Juka isn't a bad game by any means. Buy it for your kids, rent it for yourself.

While some of the gameplay concepts feel familiar, the theme, writing and setting really wraps it up well and makes it worthy of spending some free time with.

This game is, to me, nothing more than a sad attempt to cash in on the nominal successes of the first game.

JLH is a lot of fun, especially if you're a fan of the major characters.
