It's a great game for the DS, and well worth playing. Avoid the Wii version though, I can't really stress that enough.

All together, I found Monsters vs. Aliens to be a fun game, something that could easily appeal to adults and kids alike, whether you were a fan of the film or not. The gameplay is addictive, great to sit down and play in short bursts, and there's plenty of unlockable content to keep you busy after you've finished the main story.

I guess you could argue that the game loses a bit of its charm with the lack of the motion specific controls, and I'll agree to a point that they did add a little bit to certain movements, and they definitely made the kills feel a bit more visceral. However, the PSP version is definitely my preferred way to play the game, it didn't frustrate me control wise nearly as much as the Wii version did, and from that aspect alone I enjoyed it more.

Given the art design alone, The Pitt is an interesting addition to the Fallout 3 universe. Outside of that, it's half-baked and feels more like a leaked alpha than an actual retail game. Hopefully the third DLC, Broken Steel, is delivered with a little more care.

All together I found the first entry to be really enjoyable, and I look forward to checking out more of the episodes as they release on XBLA.

If you've got a few friends that feel like playing, then pick it up; it's a pretty solid time waster. However, if you're playing alone, $15 might be a little steep for the asking price, and I'm not sure I'd suggest giving this one a go.

A great GTA game that culls as much from the older titles as it does from the new ones.

Combat is fun, but you realize that the game has to cheat a bit to make it work.

If you have a friend to play along with, then that's obviously the way to go, but don't let the thought of playing with the AI deter you from picking this up. It's a great game, and well worth your time.

It's like PixelJunk Monsters without the heart and soul.

If the mundane enemies that populate the world brought a little more challenge to the table, and if the basic environmental kills consisted of more than just impaling or beating someone to death, then I would have had much more interest in the title than just the boss fights and Bloodbath events.

Still, there's not a whole lot to the game, and without some challenging puzzles, it's only something I can see appealing to gamers that feel like they need to hit that 100% completion mark.

Do I believe eight year girls would like this game? Yes I do, until they get bored of doing the same thing one hundred and fifty six times.

Disappointing lately, city filled with grime and filth. Soul gone. Inspiration gone.

It's a shame to see that Ensemble had to close their doors after this, because it's really the best attempt I've seen at bringing over a solid RTS experience on consoles, and I hope it's a game that other RTS fans (and even non-fans) will give a try, because it's definitely worth picking up.

HAWX was definitely a fun shooter, and while it's not something that I would see appealing to every FPS/third-person shooter fan out there, it's certainly worth checking out.

What is the purpose of completing the tasks other than unlocking some mini games? I have no idea, but the tasks are usually not that bad. In fact, some of them are even fun. They must have had some creative writers on staff to come up with the tasks.

MLB 2K9 belongs in the 'fun' category. It looks great, and most of the time the game plays great. But it's not kind online, and pitch counts and tendencies, and hitters that act like the real thing, aren't there.

For the hardcore fan, the new additions are more than worth the price of admission whether you are utilizing batting practice, adjusting your now expanded roster, or just enjoying new graphical touches such as post game highlight reels. MLB 09 The Show is a significant improvement over last years fantastic effort, and I can just wonder what the boys have up their sleeves for next season. I'm sure it'll be a hit.

The first-person view even has a sense of inertia that many FPS titles somehow fail to include, and all of this is trucked along in compliment by the game's gloomy and dark appearance. It's not gritty so much as it is heavy.

Not bad or great but even worse, just in between where nobody even talks about it. It'll bite them back in the end, but let's hope it's a lesson well-learned.

The community aspect, the interesting use of newly added PS3 features, and the whole "WTF is going on" level of amusement is well worth the price of entry.
