I will be the first to admit that Madden NFL 25 is not a perfect football game, but the overall package and satisfaction you will receive from game to game is so overwhelmingly genuine that you will be willing to overlook its faults and realize that this is just about as good as it gets for virtual football.- Gaming Age

Final Exam is good arcade action title, but it won’t be setting the world on fire with its gameplay.- Gaming Age

Overall, Knack provides early PS4 owners with a solid if unspectacular adventure and a decent dose of family friendly co-op gameplay. It's neither a system seller nor a must have launch title, but thanks to the challenging and enjoyable combat-oriented gameplay, it's also not the abomination that some reviewers have made it out to be. Give it a try.- Gaming Age

Super Mario 3D World is a master class in platforming fun, and deserves every bit of praise heaped upon it.- Gaming Age

At its best, CastleStorm is slightly above-average, and unfortunately it's not at its best nearly enough.- Gaming Age

It’s easily the best original Legend of Zelda release since the N64 days, and I think you’ll find it’s something you don’t want to miss.- Gaming Age

It's gorgeous, it's fun to play, it's life-affirmingly happy to the point that just thinking about playing made me grin like an idiot.- Gaming Age

Regardless of which is true — whether it's a legitimately awesome game, or simply one that looks like it because it's miles better than the execrable Full Frontal Assault — I can say this with certainty: if you're a fan of the Ratchet & Clank series (or even if you just want a good 3D platformer) you owe it to yourself to check it out.- Gaming Age

Essentially, Killzone: Shadow Fall will impress you from a technical standpoint, but not so much from the actual gameplay.- Gaming Age

It's the Angry Birds that, in all likelihood, you've come you know and (hopefully) love, and it's transferred over to the Vita with all the fun intact.- Gaming Age

I won't even pretend to have any deep thoughts on that subject, but I can definitely say that if you want something unique on your Vita or your PS3, they don't make things much more unique than Proteus.- Gaming Age

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD is a fun ride and will take you some time to play through. It also looks good, especially for being a port of a Nintendo 3DS handheld title and will provide fans with more of the Belmont history than you could find on Ancestry.com.- Gaming Age

If you're patient, and you don't mind waiting now and then for the game to replenish itself, it's easy to see Crazy Market as an excellent time-waster — albeit one where you've got to watch how much time you spend with, which arguably defeats the entire purpose.- Gaming Age

In the end I think it’s a solid idea that is just executed poorly, and it really isn’t something I’d suggest checking out.- Gaming Age

It may not come anywhere close to matching the games it's trying to ape (I didn't even get into the iffy graphics or the endless loading times between levels), but it least makes a valiant effort in the attempt.- Gaming Age

Really, though, the game's looks are secondary to its chief purpose — which, essentially, is to kill you repeatedly and then dare you to keep trying. I won't say that the game didn't defeat me, because it very clearly and obviously did, but I can guarantee that if you're looking for one of those absurdly hard games to fill your time until Dark Souls 2 comes out next year, this might be a good option.- Gaming Age

It may be disappointing to some that Battlefield 4’s single player doesn’t live up to a hill of beans, but what they did accomplish with the impressive multiplayer mode is something special that cannot be duplicated even by Activision’s mighty series.- Gaming Age

If you’ve got a group of three additional players to enjoy Wii Party U with, I definitely think it’s worth checking out. As a single-player game there’s not nearly enough to do that would warrant a purchase, and even as a two-player experience it falls a little short.- Gaming Age

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag might fall a little short in comparison to something like Brotherhood, but it’s still a far better effort from Ubisoft than its direct predecessor. If you found yourself turned off of the series by Assassin’s Creed III, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how well the developers have rebounded with Black Flag.- Gaming Age

Alien Rage has a lot going against it, but it’s not a completely horrible experience. Its generic story, visuals and gameplay, combined with the lack of any multiplayer are all low points, but some players may still have some fun with it.- Gaming Age

Girl Fight is a game that I cannot recommend as a fighting game fan. Even if it had been released in the early 90’s it would have been perceived in the same way, it’s just not good at all.- Gaming Age

Honestly, there is very little to complain about with WWE 2K14 as it provides a massive roster, even more massive modes of play, and game play that while not as perfect as Curt Hennig, is as good as fans have seen in quite some time.- Gaming Age

Overall, you really must pick up Star Wars Pinball: Balance of the Force since once again Zen proves that they are not only fantastic pinball table makers, but they are the only bunch of creators who are committed to stepping outside the box to bring pinball back to relevance.- Gaming Age

Yes, they were adapted to the realities of each platform — sometimes (as in the case of the 3DS) fairly well. But none of those adaptations compare to the feel of playing Angry Birds on a touchscreen, and that's where the Vita version comes out ahead.- Gaming Age

Outside of some disappointment in the overall performance, and the ridiculous nature of the pricing on the Wii U compared to other platforms, I found this to be a pretty substantial re-release for a really great game.- Gaming Age
