I personally think it's a little too early and doesn't offer up quite enough content to get me re-excited for the game, but even though I find the upgrade to be kind of minimal, I can't deny that it's still a fun as hell fighting game.

I'd expect a little better from the Persona Team, as I absolutely love that series, but I'm a little let down by what Catherine had to offer.

It's old school for some of us, but regardless of how old these games are, the action is as engaging and challenging as anything.

Overall Dying Light: The Beast is a fun foray back into a world of survival horror. It is a little disappointing that there is only one way to gain XP in the game, and though going out at night is very risky, it is high risk/high reward. If you enjoyed the previous titles in the series, Dying Light: The Beast is a fun time, especially with friends.

Despite having to re-buy tables and some minor low quality visuals here and there, Pinball FX2 VR works incredibly well on the PSVR.

With Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon’s Souls dominating the PS5’s launch lineup this season it would be very easy to overlook Sackboy: A Big Adventure. I’m here to try to make sure that doesn’t happen, as it satisfies that family friendly, co-operative platforming adventure quota, and it’s definitely a colorful, creative and enjoyable next-generation adventure worth taking.

For now, Trials Fusion should satisfy those masochistic, perfectionist gamers who adore the challenge of Trials.

Overall, LocoRoco might be one of my favorite Sony first party titles of all time and I’m thrilled it’s seeing new life on the PS4 (which maybe means a new sequel someday). I still feel like it was perfectly built to be played on a handheld, the tilting just fits it more naturally, but since the Vita is all but dead, the PS4 is the only option we have, and that’s fine by me. Another PSP cult classic, Patapon, looks to be the next PSP remaster to come to the PS4 and based on the sales of these I’m hopeful Sony invests in more PSP titles that haven’t seen the light of day since the handheld died. I’m happy to recommend remasters of the PSP library if they're done with this much care and effort.

It's one of the better reasons to own the system at this point, and certainly a lot of fun to play.

It's often funny, addictive, and surprisingly good to look at, and the wide appeal that this franchise has tacked on with the already wide appeal that LEGO in general has is sure to make this something that fans of either property won't want to pass up.

It's not exactly a killer online app, but it's free, it's easily to play, it's fun, and it runs pretty much flawlessly.

Getting into a game is incredibly easy, and the action draws you in like a real war movie.

The tools and interface make it easy to customize tracks in a lot of different ways. The only drawback is that you’ll probably be the only one enjoying them.

New game modes pack Tiger 07 with great depth.

Very accessible, cheap, and immediately fun; Bit.Trip Void is a fun package for WiiWare to play host to.

A great-looking, incredibly deep and satisfying combat role playing game. It's complicated and has a steep "getting started" curve, but the investment of patience pays off.

It's not only a fast paced and exciting fishing title, but also one of those rare games that non-gamers and other family members can enjoy as well.

If you're looking for a futuristic racer that'll get your pulse pounding, Air Race Speed will do the trick. The vehicles are sleek little spaceships that extremely handle well, the courses are challenging without being impossible, and the whole time trial/star rating thing means that, particularly on the Vita, it lends itself perfectly to replayability. In isolation, each of these things would be great; taken together, they make for a genuinely fun game.

If you liked the movie, then you will find all of your favorite references throughout both tables. If you’re like me, and never actually saw the latest Star Wars films, then you have some quality pinball action you can have fun with. This pack is a solid edition to the Pinball FX3 app!

If my biggest complaint about a game is that I desperately want a sequel, that should be a sign that it’s doing something right. I don’t know whether one of those will come, but even if it does, I’m still glad that Donut County’s release on new platforms means that I — and, I hope, many other people — will get to chance to either experience it again, or experience it for the first time. Regardless of whether camp you fall in, it’s fun enough that it won’t disappoint.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is still a blast. If you’ve been pining for the chance to replay these games for decades, I suspect it’ll live up to your most cherished memories — and if, like me, you’re new to the series, you’ll easily understand why these games were so beloved in the first place.

Hidden Through Time is pretty cute. It’s got an art style that comes off as a cross between Scribblenauts and The Oatmeal, and as someone who likes both of those things, that appeals to me. Every time I finished a level, some part of me half-expected to hear that little Scribblenauts tune that played whenever you found a shard, which should give you an idea of just how close the resemblance is. But intuitive controls and fun design don’t make for a great game — that would require the game itself to be fun, and honestly, Hidden Through Time just didn’t do it for me. If you’re a diehard hidden object fan who really wants a challenge, it might be worth your time, but if you’re looking for something you can play with your kids, I have a hard time imagining it would pass muster.

Playing the HD Remaster filled me with regret in that I could’ve enjoyed this deep and engrossing title many years ago (The copy I bought from amazon is still sealed…). Yes, while it would’ve been nice that all the DLC was just baked into the base game, but it’s a small price to pay to be able to recruit demons on the go, or not have to worry about losing access to the title if a digital storefront shutters (I mean Steam will never close…will it?). Don’t make the 16 year mistake I did by letting this one pass you by.

As a puzzle-platformer, it’s got some issues. But as a Monkey Island-style adventure game trapped in the body of a puzzle-platformer, it’s interesting — and funny — enough that it’s more than possible to overlook those flaws.

At $9.99, this is a fantastic party game that anyone can pick up and play. The game itself is rated T, but anything goes when writing your own riffs. Even with a few playthroughs, I never saw a duplicate clip come up. I’m sure that will happen eventually, but lets hope they keep this game updated with fresh clips, sound effects and pre recorded riffs. I want to play this game for years to come! Super fun and super simple, I can’t recommend RiffTrax: The Game enough! A Definite Must Buy!

This is a otome romance novel through and through – and what’s more, it’s a good enough otome that even if the setting doesn’t sound all that romantic, it still achieves its goal.

Little Kitty, Big City is an adorable, delightful gem of a game, in other words. And in that respect, the comparison to Untitled Goose Game is especially apt – both are an absolute blast, and just like UGG became a much-loved game, it’s easy to imagine Little Kitty, Big City following the same path.

To be fair, I didn’t hate my time with Kaya’s Prophecy. It doesn’t do anything original, but it also copies other, better games so well that it can’t help but get some reflected glow. But because it doesn’t add anything to either of those well-established formulas, I’d be hard-pressed to recommend it over its influences. Maybe check it out if you’re a fan of Slay the Spire or Stacklands, but don’t expect it to be more than the sum of its influences.
